Hello Kim and thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay at 7th Heaven. We are happy that you found the view beautiful, the location great, how nice the just renovated pool is and being RIGHT on the beach. It sounds like you reported a missing vertical slat. We investigated and our Maintenance Manager did come out to replace 6 AAA batteries in the remote and fixed the blind. We are so sorry if the fix didn't hold and will review with our maintenance department to perfect our procedure. If this ever happens to you again - just send us another message or call, please. We are so sorry to hear about the light outside on the walkway that shone into the bedroom. Please call us, so we can come and hopefully take care of an exterior issue, and you don't have frustrations during your stay. We will pass along the suggestions for the kitchen and the outside areas to the owner of this property. We hope you don't mind that we clarify that the neighboring unit is allowed to cross the terrace to use the stairs leading down to the beach (see the description for the property). The other unit's guests are not sharing 7th Heaven's furniture and lounging space at all. We would love to welcome you again! We had not been advised by the owner that it had been shut down for repairs from Hurricane Ian. We agree - a gas grill would be really nice, but not allowed by the Association, and therefore not advertised. We are also sorry that you encountered some roaches (dead we assume). All the properties we manage are serviced by scheduled pest control and we make sure there are none before the guest moves in.
