My wife and I wanted a quiet place near a beach and this place was perfect. It is a block away but you can still hear the waves and see the water from the front porch. The house was clean and the process was very easy to check in. I would recommend this house if you’re looking for a nice quiet place to relax but close enough to gulf shores restaurants and shopping.

Great place! Place was super clean and had plenty of cooking items. The back area was fenced in so our dog could roam a little. Great location from the beach. It was so quiet and peaceful at night. Want to come back again in the spring.

Beautiful house, perfect location. Golf cart and ice maker are a big plus. Dog friendly house and area. Hope to come back next year!

Wonderful Week All Around

We stayed at Barefoot Gypsy last week for our third year in a row. The vicinity to the beach and pool area are only steps away. Our elderly dog truly loved the nighttime rides on the golf cart. We had a wonderful week with beautiful weather, clear water, hardly anyone on the beach, and a pool to ourselves being a bonus.

Quiet and friendly beach community!

We really liked our stay here. We’ve been to nearly every beach community in AL and the Fl Panhandle and found this one to be secluded, low-key, friendly, and quiet - in a good way! The house was nice - we enjoyed the porch and backyard area. We brought our Boston Terrier, too.

Family getaway

Loved the rental house that also allowed our 2 fur babies to be included in the family fun. Everything was beautiful and well maintained with lots of room & comfort! Check in was easy and response to messages sent to the owner were promptly responded to. Would definitely rent this property again!

Quiet family vacation!

Perfectly equipped for entertaining our teenagers with great proximity to the beach and the bay. Great accomodations for our pets as well. The owners were very accomodating to every need.

Our trip to Alabama

The property was great. Clean, spacious, close to the dog friendly beach, easy access to Gulf Shores, nicely decorated. We had a great time and would definitely book again.

Perfect family location

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is in a perfect location for access to the beech as well as a view of the bay. The location is less populated with a ton of open beech area. The community pool and basketball court was a nice added bonus. Highly recommended!

Barefoot Gypsy Home

We had an incredible time staying at your home during our Gulf Shores vacation. The house was the perfect choice—so comfortable, it felt just like being at home, with the beach only a five-minute walk away! From Fort Morgan to Orange Beach, everything was just a short drive, and we had an absolute blast exploring it all.When we plan our next vacation, there's no doubt we’ll be returning to the Barefoot Gypsy.Thank you for helping us give the grandkids a trip they’ll always remember.—Steve Clark

Excellent stay

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beach house! The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. With 2 bedrooms and 4 comfortable beds, it was perfect for our group. The 2 bathrooms were a huge plus and made getting ready super convenient. The location was unbeatable—just steps from the beach! We loved waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying sunsets from the porch. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing coastal getaway. We’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect and stunning

The home owners went the extra mile to ensure their guests enjoy their stay here and feel at home and at ease. The property, neighborhood, location, and every extra attention to detail don’t go unappreciated or unnoticed. There’s a short walk to the beach or an optional golf cart if needed. My dog was in heaven and enjoyed it just as much as I did. That made a huge difference too and the trip so enjoyable. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

To the beach

This is a wonderful home, a short walk from the gulf. The rooms are open a spacious making it very inviting. We enjoyed making meals in the nicely stocked kitchen and spending time on one of the two decks. Lindsay is a great great host, she took time to answer all of our questions and represents her property very accurately. No disappointments here, loved our stay!

Relaxing and fun time! Views and short walking distance to beach. Beach was not over crowded .

We had a beautiful time. Had all the kitchen items needed. We ate out most of the time and there were places not far from us. Tacky Jacks 2 good food and beautiful sunsets. The place had small fenced in area for our dogs but they liked relaxing on the balconies the one off the master bedroom was closed in and over looked the bay. We would definitely rent this house again.

Fort Morgan Getaway

This property was very nice and clean and the manager was easy to contact and responded quickly. It was in a good location to the Fort Morgan area. The doggie yard was a very nice addition for our fur babies! The shower in the second bathroom did not get as hot as the shower in the master bath, but other than that everything was great. We will definitely stay at Barefoot Gypsy again when visiting Ft Morgan.

Not the manager - the actual owner of the property. : ) Glad the dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard. We wish you would have let us know about the shower - we will have it looked at.

Very nice house

I really enjoyed the decor in the house. It was big enough to feel comfortable however if you have friends or family who want to come have dinner they need to be on the lease. Lindsey did make that process easy to remedy and said it was due to insurance. The back yard for the dog was a plus for sure.
