⧫Welcome to Honey Bear cabin in the heart of Hocking Hills. We pride ourselves on having clean cabins. Honey Bear is a one bed, one bath, fully stocked cabin for your enjoyment. Wake up in the morning and drink your coffee from the deck and enjoy the 7 mile view and the wildlife that visits the property. The hot tub is covered for year-round use and features a waterfall and beautiful lighting. The cabin is furnished in custom made furniture and accents. Hand-carved bears are throughout the home. A fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans, utensils, and everything you will need to make a small to a large meal. Just bring your food. Dine inside or out and enjoy the ease of a gas grill. Take advantage of the outdoor fire pit for a relaxing evening. The view is amazing!!! The nighttime view of the stars will take your breath away. The cabin has easy access and is located on the highest ridge in Hocking Hills. 1800 thread count sheets are included along with luxury linens. We also offer a 10% discount automatically for 7 day stays.

Weekend Getaway

The inside of the cabin is nice and cozy. Not sure if I would want to stay there with more than 2 people as it is one large open room. It was perfect for my husband and I.

Great overall for a short couple getaway, the view is fantastic- only a few minor gripes

Overall, we had a great stay at the Honey Bear cabin, although there were a few minor issues/areas of improvement. I'll list the pros and cons below. Pros: - Easy, simple check-in and check-out process, no excessive cleaning or over-the-top requests - GREAT view, perfect for lounging around in the backyard or on the balcony - Good-sized, renovated bathroom - Ample amenities (dishwasher, grill, laundry machines, hot tub, fire pit, etc.) - Great size for 2 people (studio/open concept space, bedroom/living room/kitchen are all open to each other) Cons: - WiFi did not work for our short 2-day stay, even after minor troubleshooting - Although the large majority of the property was very clean, the hot tub was a little grimy. - Some of the dishes provided in the kitchen- particularly the pans, were a bit worse-for-the-wear, could be replaced - The main lighting for the space- two ceiling fan fixtures, had cold, very white bulbs in them, which sort of clashed with the warm kitchen and bed-lamp lights and otherwise warmth of the space - No garbage disposal in the kitchen- there was a bit of an odor in the area surrounding the sink/dishwasher/trash can (may have been another cause) ** The above complaints are all relatively minor and did not significantly impact our enjoyment of the stay, just worth noting! The pros, like the great view and long list of amenities, absolutely outweighed the cons!

Great getaway

We had a great time. The place was great and the views were amazing. The WiFi was not working and there wasn’t very good phone service,but who would miss it in such a beautiful place. Thank you so much for lending us this piece of heaven!

Excellent Stay June 23-28 2024

My husband and I really enjoyed this home. We loved sitting on the back deck every morning and evening. The view was beautiful. If you're looking for calm, peaceful and tranquil, this is the perfect place. The home offered everything we needed and more. It was clean, tastefully furnished and was true to the listing. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. We contacted the hosts with a question prior to booking and they responded quickly and were kind and polite. Loved the easy and quick check-in and check-out with the key being in a lockbox. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Little Getaway

Went for a Valentines weekend. Cabin was very cozy, well stocked and clean. Loved the deck, fireplace and hottub. Bed was really comfortable! Laurelville was super close for good breakfast as well as the State Park. Overall this was perfect for 2 people.

Wonderful View!

Truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Most Hocking Hills attractions were about half an hour away making for easy commutes. The view off the back deck was simply magnificent! Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning drinking my coffee. Even had a buck walk past. He didn't even know I was there. If you go, realize the cabin is basically one big room. The bed is right there in the open. Everything was clean, and we had great communication with the owners. Definitely recommend to others!

That view!

It's one thing to rent a cabin in the woods, it's on a different level when you add in that view. It was perfect & exactly what we were looking for. So relaxing not having to worry about anything for a couple of days. Thank you for providing us with this amazing property for us to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommend!!
