Take advantage of 3 provided kayaks at Wakondah Retreat to explore the pond, or fish from the dock. Red Hill Mountain offers scenic hiking trails amidst colorful fall foliage. Dive into the pristine waters of Wakondah Pond for swimming and relaxation. This spacious rental accommodates up to 8 guests, providing essential amenities. With three levels (STAIRS INSIDE & OUTSDIE), including 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (all rooms furnished with king-sized beds). Stay connected with WiFi, and enjoy outdoor grilling and entertainment on 4 TVs. The location is ideal for participating in local fishing derbies, and fitness enthusiasts can use the on-site PELOTON Bike. NO Smoking and animals allowed at property due to OWNERS SEVERE ALLERGIES. Property is located on a quite pond, they do not allow outboard motors. This makes it a great place for kayaking/fishing. We enjoyed our stay very muck.

The house and the location are beautiful. We love the nature on and around the pond. I enjoyed using the Merlin bird app to help identify all the different birds. We were so grateful that the host provided all the little things like trash bags, hand soap, shampoo, baggies, etc, and beds were made when we arrived. Host was very helpful. We had a great trip!

This was our 3rd stay at the Wakondah Retreat. We love the house, the lake, the wildlife, and the nearby hikes, shopping, etc. The new AC (mini splits) are a great addition. We look forward to coming back next summer!

Great property and location

This was our 4th stay. We love this place. No motorboats. Serene place for swimming/fishing. Great hiking nearby. Beautiful home with great views of the lake and mountains from all rooms. All the amenities we needed to make for a great week. Again.

We rented this for rotary derby weekend, great location.

Felt at home. Driveway a bit of a challenge as we had four vehicles and a trailer.

We had a wonderful vacation at this lovely home. The view of the lake is so tranquil. We had the pond literally all to ourselves. It was a great base location to take in all the sights of the area. The house was well stocked and we wanted for nothing. I especially appreciated the grab bars in the bathrooms. While we did not go swimming we did enjoy kayaking and fishing (which was excellent, lots of bass and pickerel). Would highly recommend staying here.

Great week!

Everything was just as described. The property & lake were spectacular. Great fishing, swimming, etc - and close to great hikes in the white mountains. Host was very responsive.

Ice Fishing Derby

This was our second year staying at this residence. Accommodations perfect the location is close to all types of stores and attractions. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable place to hang your hat and have a good time with friends. Looking forward to next year already.

Fantastic stay!

We had a fantastic time at the Wakondah Retreat! From booking to check-in to check-out everything was flawless. Great communication with host throughout the process. Our group ranged from 5-49 and everyone had a great time! We took advantage of everything this property offered! Kayaking everyday, enjoying the view, playing games and grilling! The area is surreal and picturesque! On our trip we saw humming birds, loons and even a Bald eagle stopped by. Amazing time!

Perfect lake front setting

We had a wonderful time at Wakondah Pond. The lake is clean and quiet with lots of birds and turtles. It was great to have the kayaks to explore the pond. The house is clean and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. The screen porch looking over the lake was a favorite spot.

Bike week

House was beautiful, lots of space. Close to everything yet far enough away and quiet. Owner checked on us and was immediately available for questions. Would recommend to all.

Lovely getaway on NH pond

This house has everything you need - great kitchen, beautiful view, quiet neighborhood, swim-able and kayak-able pond. The screened-in porch is where we spent most of our time, making even rainy days a good time. Convenient to the big lake and all the services we needed. Highly recommend.

Mellow getaway on the pond

We've stayed at Wakondah Pond before and came back for all the right reasons - a spacious, well-appointed house with an incredible screened-in porch overlooking the pond, plenty of kayaks and of course the loons. The host is attentive and responsive and we couldn't have asked for an easier experience. We'll be back!

Almost like Golden Pond!

Location on Wacondah Pond couldn’t be much nicer. Perfect body of water with great Temperature for Kayaking and enjoying swimming and fishing. Gorgeous view from the porches! A truley relaxing experience to be remembered! No motorboats on lake and didn’t catch Walter!!

Peaceful waterfront stay

House is laid out well and stocked with all necessities. Very quiet property besides the surrounding wildlife. The kids all loved swimming in the pond. The water is very clear and not very weedy especially for the time of year. Host is also very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.
