Cozy, well equipped cottage with magnificent views of the lake and mountains. We were thankful for the opportunity to spend a great week here with our son who lives in Portsmouth. He was also quite appreciative of being able to spend time with his old friend, our dog Taylor.

Always a treat ti stay here. The owners communicate very well and are always available if needed. They also always do improvements to keep the house enjoyable.

I've been privileged to stay here for a few years now. It's a week I look forward to all year. This home and its view is slice of heaven. I rarely leave the home all week and look forward to sitting on a lounge chair on the dock, with my biggest decision being when to get in the beautiful, clear water. It has everything you need to be comfortable. A well-appointed kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining options, plenty of bath and beach towels, kayaks, stand up paddleboards, a water mat, PFDs for safety, and even a PFD for your dog, dog bowls and toys/games for people and pups alike! The fenced in yard allows you to spend all the relaxing time outside you and your pup could want. I am so grateful Don and Janet open their beloved home to me and others.

This was my second year here. It’s a beautiful spot on the lake and the cottage is very welcoming. It’s incredibly clean, well equipped with everything you need for a vacation and the outside area is great. The fenced in yard is a huge plus to make it perfectly dog friendly! Great stay, great week!

Family getaway

We had the most amazing time at the cottage. Beautiful weather, excellent accommodations, and plenty of water toys. This is our fourth time renting here and we make memories for a lifetime every visit. Thank you for such great accommodations!

Highly recommend for vacation rental

The camp is a beautifully maintained camp with spectacular views of the lake and just steps from the water. The camp was very clean and the owners/property manager were very helpful in making sure we felt welcome. I highly recommend this rental.

Peaceful and relaxing waterfront home in the perfect spot!

This is a lovely waterfront cottage in a beautiful and peaceful spot on the lake. It is extremely clean and well appointed, very welcoming and comfortable. It has all the amenities you could want for a vacation at the lake! It was a wonderful week and I look forward to staying there again next year!

The perfect setting

The view from this cozy, well-equipped cottage is breathtaking! We enjoyed relaxing by the lake, kayaking, and swimming with our dogs. There are hiking trails, restaurants, and small downtown areas to explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!!!

The view is as advertised!

Well equipped cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee. Super quiet neighborhood, but sparsely populated the first week of June. Nice dock in a bay with loons, ducks, and the best view ever!

Fantastic

The description of the property was right on. The pictures listed on VRBO are nice but the reality is better. Great area with lots to do. The property kept all entertain and busy. Very clean and comfortable.

Perfection!

Our family of 5 and pup had an amazing stay at the cottage. Everything about it was just perfect. We loved the house, we loved the location, the views, the clear water, the dock, everything! I can't recommend enough! Thank you thank you thank you for helping make our family vacation so wonderful! We would love to come back!

Could not ask for a better host and the location? No words. The view was absolutely beautiful. The cottage was very well equipped - didn’t need a thing. We loved having the Adirondack chairs and rocking chairs available for relaxing. And I so appreciated having the use of the kayaks. We would highly recommend Janet and this property for your vacation. Neighbors were so pleasant as well.

Never disappoints

We love staying at Janet and Don’s house. The beautiful view and access to the lake can’t be beat. The front room provides the million dollar view at all times of day. If you visit, make sure to keep an eye out for the hummingbirds! The neighbors are friendly and thoughtful too, so it’s always peaceful. Janet is very responsive throughout the process. Excited to stay again next year. Thank you for sharing your family’s home with us!

A week away at the cottage

We had a great week at the cottage this year. The owners have been adding awesome new upgrades every year. This year, the fence around the yard was such a great plus for our dogs. They were able to roam freely and hang with us, leash free, in the yard. There were so many recreational toys for the whole family including paddle boards, kayaks, huge jenga and board games. The sunrise and sunset views were simply amazing. We loved every minute of it!
