Scottland Yard Farm's Honey Suckle Family Glamping Tent

Family size 14x16 (inside demensions) wall tent!! We have had many requests for family accommodations. This tent has a queen bed and twin day bed with trundle making it perfect for 4. The tent has a small frig for your snacks and beverages as well as a coffee station. There are no inside tent toilets. We have beautiful restrooms with showers a feet away from the glamps located in our Great Hall. There is a charming outdoor shower and bathroom. There is a spacious 8x14 covered porch with a wine barrel bistro and 4 chairs. This glamp also has a fire pit and private park style grill with grilling tools.

The Honey Suckle isn't insulated and during the colder seasons, it can get chilly. This is a seasonal tent, so please prepare for the weather accordingly. For our guests comfort and well being, we provide electric blankets and all beds are required to be made with the mattress protector

After a short walk you will find our Mercantile store, our Traveler’s trunk boutique and beautiful natural pond for lounging around it and relaxation. Our pond is now for relaxing by the water and feeding the koi fish only. Unfortunately, swimming is not permitted for rental guests.

The natural pond’s beauty and tranquility is complete with a lovely waterfall and our pet Koi! The Koi are always eagerly awaiting their koi treats from our guests. These treats can be purchased from our small Mercantile store along with horse treats, rabbit treats and bird treats. The mercantile also has snacks, local beverages and honey along with camp cooking supplies you may have forgotten. Our fun little travelers trunk boutique has some interesting finds from our travels as well as local homemade items!

There is a natural pond, swinging tree hammocks, children’s playground, bistro tables everywhere, coin op laundry mat with 1 washer and 1 dryer and plenty of farmland to explore! We border the lush and lovely Hammond Hill State forest. If you love cross country skiing, mountain biking and walks we border You have access to miles of state trails!! The barns and pastures are restricted from guests’ entrance. Scottland Yard community consists of several small clustered homesteads. Each Sunday is ‘Sunday funday’ BBQ at Scottland Yard from 2-8pm. Monday-Thursdays from 2-6 we have family time at Scottland Yard. Our guests often join us for this joyful time. If you happen to arrive or are enjoying the facilities during these hours, please know that you’re welcome to join us if you wish!

There are over 200 wineries in the Fingerlakes Region and many are within an hours drive. The closest one to us is Six Mile Creek Vineyard about 5 miles away. Visit waterfalls or state parks such as Buttermilk Falls, Taughannock, Robert H. Treman, Ithaca Falls.

Pet fee additional 35.00 per night per pet. Collected upon arrival
Additional fee of 35.00 per person per night after the initial 2 people
Cleaning Fee is a one time fee of $55.00 and is added to the accommodation price when booked
Late check in fee is $35 after 9 p.m. Free check in is from 3-9 p.m.

Rules
-Dishes used by you are to be washed, dried and put away after each use.
-No smoking in the tent! Ashtrays provided on property
-Pets fee is 35.00 per night per pet. They must be on leash at all times.
-Pets must get along with other pets and children.
-Pets may do their business in the nearby field. If business is done on the lawn it’s up to the owner to pick up and discard poop.
-Your pet must be crated inside if you leave him/her for any length of time.
- Pets must be up to date with their vaccinations and be free of fleas.
-Pets that bite other dogs or humans or exhibit any aggressive behaviors are not welcome and if brought to the farm will be asked to leave with their owners without any refunds given.
– If you are bringing an infant under 2 you must provide all their bed and bedding needs or they may sleep with you.
– Minimum 2 night stay if Booking on a Friday
– Quiet time begins at 11:00 PM. Please be conscious and respectful of other guests.


Earplugs are provided for guests who prefer not to rise with the birds.
***July 4th weekend- please take it into consideration before booking!

There are fireworks (that can be heard) nearby at the neighbors homestead. Our July 4th weekend guests are invited to attend the neighborhood display. The display is not on our property. Our farm is located close enough that the fireworks are still loud. Dogs, fellow travelers, and/or children traveling with you may get frightened during the 15 minute display. .

No early check ins or late check outs.

WiFi service can occasionally be impacted by weather, power outages, or provider-related issues that are outside of our control. While these situations are rare, we want guests to be aware and able to plan accordingly. Wifi works in the common areas near the pool.
