This house boasts a fabulous outside entertainment area with barbecue and fire pit, and wonderful garden and patio. Only a few miles from Ithaca and Cayuga Lake, restaurants and wineries are within easy reach. The kitchen has a walkout to covered veranda, perfect for alfresco dining, and the bedrooms have blackout curtains for a good nights sleep. A gem !!

What a quaint home-away from home! We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay while visiting some beautiful state parks nearby. My 20 year daughter enjoyed having her own space downstairs.

Such a wonderful property- so clean, and relaxing . A beautiful outdoor space with both covered and open areas. The host was so responsive. It was also so convenient for our needs.I really appreciated the small things like a first aid kit( I needed a band aid ) , and the welcoming truffles . We have let our friend, who lives nearby, know of this cute and comfortable place to stay.

Beautiful area and close to everything.Waterfalls in the area were awesome. The house was filled with whatever you needed. What a nice gift the host left us..delicious chocolate and Prosecco..will definitely come again.

The house was immaculate and well stocked when we arrived and every amenity was provided for our stay. We attended our 50th Cornell reunion and actually looked forward to going to “home” after the festivities. The location was also convenient for exploring the area. Each morning we sat out on deck and enjoyed coffee with beautiful nature. The champagne and chocolates were very unexpected and appreciated. Thanks to the host for a wonderful stay!

The house was beautiful and very very clean! We had a great stay! We were looking at colleges in the area and if my daughter chooses one, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We had five adults. The kitchen was set up ready to go. Nice little refrigerator and freezer for food stuffs, kitchen utensils, gas stovetop and oven--air-conditioning throughout the the upstairs. Didn't use the TV's--but nice size one in the living room. There is a WHOLE basement of open carpeted space. Used the laundry. It was a beautiful spot--horses next door, a cooker outside, parking for 2 vehicles--quiet and lovely to sit outside in the evening or early morning. Quite lovely. Within 20-30 minutes of Ithaca depending on which side. My family had a celebration at Upper Treman which made the distance very nice. Not far away at all.

A quiet retreat, centrally located.

We were traveling to see sites in Ithica, Watkins Glen and Corning, and this rental was perfectly located between the three areas. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. We would definitely stay again.

Getaway in nature

Perfect for a getaway that is peaceful and quiet. We even saw a deer in the backyard. Perfect location to explore Ithaca and it’s surrounding areas.

This property is fantastic! Superbly clean. Close to Ithaca and Cayuga/ Seneca Lakes. Very quiet at night and incredibly comfortable during the day. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and Jan was wonderful with communication!

Quiet getaway

Great location in between Ithaca and Watkins Glen. Lovely porch for eating outdoors. Restful location for time in the finger lakes
