This house boasts a fabulous outside entertainment area with barbecue and fire pit, and wonderful garden and patio. Only a few miles from Ithaca and Cayuga Lake, restaurants and wineries are within easy reach. The kitchen has a walkout to covered veranda, perfect for alfresco dining, and the bedrooms have blackout curtains for a good nights sleep. A gem !!

Nothing but positives with Newfield

This is our second time staying at this property. The owner is super responsive and made our stay extremely enjoyable. Will definitely stay here in the future. Highly recommend.

Great Stay

Very clean home with great backyard. Close to so many places like Watkins Glen, Corning, and Ithaca. Beds were nice, plenty of towels, and the kids loved the basement. Hosts are super responsive! The only thing I would change is improving the kitchen supplies and cookware. Overall, great stay!

Nice place!

Great location, neat and clean as a pin with an incredibly comfortable bed and beautiful back deck. Private, comfortable furniture and responsive host. Nearby to Ithaca and its attractions.

Best of Newfield

Incredible location and the host thought of everything. Dropped our son off for college and the house made the experience that much better. Enjoyed coffee on the covered porch and the view of the stars at night. Would recommend to all who need a place to stay near Ithaca.

Perfect for our needs

Stayed here to move a daughter into college. Beds were comfortable, parking was secure and off street, plenty of fluffy towels. Thank you!

A quiet retreat, centrally located.

We were traveling to see sites in Ithica, Watkins Glen and Corning, and this rental was perfectly located between the three areas. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. We would definitely stay again.

Ithaca is Gorges!

We spent a week chasing waterfalls. This was the perfect jumping off point! Close enough to everything but quiet and secluded. The property has amazing spaces and the house is comfy and perfect for a family. Communication with the host was fantastic!

Pretty family house in Finger lakes

Clean, comfy, private and conveniently located to great hiking, beautiful lakes and so much more! House is situated on a beautiful piece of property in a quiet neighborhood. Host Jan is accommodating and responsive. Great place to come home to after a long day of exploring! Hope to return in the fall. Definitely recommend for couples or families. Excellent stay

We were in Ithaca for our daughter’s graduation. Found out about this place and changed from our hotel that was a bit further away. The property is very well stocked with high quality items: beds/ AC/ kitchen/ bathroom. It is very clean and has enough space to spread out and relax. It is 20mins from Cornell University - but it worked just fine for us. We heard a lot of birds and it was a very peaceful environment. Jan is very prompt in replying to texts and we didn’t need any addl items or help. Since everything was provided already. Highly recommend this place.

Great location great property

Had a beautiful long weekend in Ithaca community to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Ithaca College (her first degree). Plan on returning to same property in 2 years for her second graduation weekend. Super easy location just south of Ithaca off Route 13 south. Jan and her husband were lovely owners and easy to work with. Property set on beautiful land with horse paddocks adjacent and barn. Beautiful back yard and patio. Plenty of room for our 4-5 family. So much easier than dealing with motels in Ithaca proper and the craziness during graduation weekend. Learned of new waterfalls to explore. Their daughter is a ceramicist and were able to visit her studio and beautifully hand made earthenware. Lucky enough to come home with several of her mugs. Highly recommend. Also thanks for the perfect weather Ithaca for graduation. You put on a show for us all!!

Beautiful and Peaceful and very clean location to stay!

Loved the location. Very quiet and relaxing. Back pouch was a adding gem to have your morning coffee. Was very happy to see the horses. We loved it and if are ever in the area we would stay again. Highly Recommended!!! Thank you Jan

Visit to see family

We were in town visiting family. This house was a perfect touchdown pad for us between all our adventures (Buttermilk falls, Taughannock, Ithaca, putt putt & A&W in Cortland). We found the accommodations to be comfortable, convenient and relaxing. My kids enjoyed the backyard and basement. I personally loved relaxing on the back porch. Beautiful property, friendly hosts. Definitely would rent again!!!
