Relax Near the Best of Oro Valley

A house with privacy and quiet, but near everything the city has to offer. Very close to hiking and biking trails but just a few blocks from shopping and restaurants,

Enjoy million dollar views of the mountains and city lights from the seating area outside your bedroom door, complete with fire pit and bbq.

Inside, there's a full kitchen, separate dining area, sitting area with smart tv, work area with office chair, blazing fast wifi,, and a king-size bed with an amazingly comfortable mattress. A full bathroom with shower, a laundry room, and your own patio with fire pit and grill round out the house.

You're on a five-acre property with large fenced yard. Pets are welcome, but there is a pet fee ($20/night per pet) and they cannot go on the bed.

Just a few blocks to shopping and restaurants, lots of biking and hiking trails nearby, and if you need anything the host can usually be there in just a few minutes.

The property is just a described and has magnificent views of the Catalina mountains. Virgil, is an exceptional host and very accommodating. We plan to stay there again in early November, when we have my brother’s celebration of life Service. PS … the bed is extremely comfortable.

The location was good for our trip. The host was very responsive. The bed was very comfortable. However, I think the price was too high for the value received.

It's strange how some people will search for the lowest-priced place (our house was over 20% less expensive than any other place in town) and then complain that they didn't get enough of a deal. You can't expect Ritz quality when you're paying Motel 6 prices, Sandra.

Great place to stay when you need your own space while visiting family on vacation. Perfect for that little getaway reset! I would definitely stay here again. Owner has 2 different properties on this site, I found this out by accident. Both places were clean, quiet and just what I needed. Thanks Virgil you may see me next year around the same time.

Birder alert - Quail in the yard! And they posed for photos!!The property is quiet, comfortable, easy to find, and keeps you from having to stay in Tucson. Unfortunately, you do still need to go through the city to hike. Bed? More comfortable than our own at home.

Host responded to text messages immediately and resolved issues promptly. I didn’t realize that to lock the door when leaving the property, I needed to press and HOLD the top button. The property is exactly as the photos show. Quiet neighborhood, I especially enjoyed walking in the area and viewing lovely homes and cactus gardens.

We loved this place!! Charming desert oasis. Very clean and the kitchen provided everything we needed to cook and the bathroom was well stocked. The bed was super cozy and had one of the best nights sleep. Stunning mountain views and a nice outdoor firepit to enjoy under the stars! We highly recommend this place and we will be returning!!

Virgil was great and it was very pet friendly for our dog. The kitchen was adequate, not much counter space, but clean. If you’re not fixing a complex meal, it was perfect.This is such a convenient location! Minutes away from shopping, numerous places to hike and good restaurants. We plan to rent from Virgil again next winter.

Perfect Location

Really a beautiful property and an easy pocation to get to Marana, Tucson, Biosphere2, and hiking. Loved it and hope to be back!

The location was awesome. Views were as promised. Cleanliness and offered amenities were as promised. Only issue was the timing of the sprinklers in the outside fire pit area. They kept soaking the firewood while we were gone making the fire hard to get going.

Thanks for the review and comments. The sprinklers go for a few minutes very early in the morning so that we can keep the grass growing in the patio area of the guest house. There is a second, larger set of firewood right outside the guest house that never gets water on it, and guests are free to use all the firewood they like from there. But I'll take your comments to heart and put a cover on the firewood that is in the patio area of the guest house. Thank you again

Great little getaway!

Adorable cabin with beautiful views! A great weekend escape to relax and enjoy each other's company. Quiet and peaceful! The bed was very comfortable too!

Nice guest house and host

The location was perfect near shopping and restaurants. The host was pleasant and responded quickly whenever I needed something. My privacy was respected. The view of the mountains was great.
