Responsive host and very private location. Easy to find. Full sized refrigerator in the kitchen. Laundry onsite was a bonus.

This rental was perfect for us! It is in a lovely area with convenient shopping nearby. It was nice to have a laundry room, also. We will definitely be back!

We had a very positive experience with our stay. Virgil (Property Manager) was excellent-- Extremely attentive, caring and responsive-- above anything I would have expected. We also loved the location-- great for swimming in the best outdoor pool, cycling and running. The unit was also very clean and the surrounding property was well-maintained as well as beautiful to look at. As described, it was convenient and easy to do laundry right there on-site. The weather was uncharacteristically hot for March and so we were also very pleased that the AC units in the unit kept the inside very comfortable. Our only disappointment was that the guest house is located right near several major roads so we would not describe it as "quiet"-- as you can always hear the sound of traffic noise, when sitting outside or if you open a window in the unit.

I can’t express enough on how amazing this place and host are. I love to have “staycations” and I truly don’t see myself staying at other properties.

Sanctuary on the edge of chaos.

Nice and nestled. Close enough to all of anyone’s entertainment and shopping needs. While at the property it is pure peace and nature.

Casita with great views!

Simple casita, minimal provisions (ie pans, plates, cups, glasses). We were warm & dry and loved the location. Perfect for a no-frills stay.

Beautiful Property

We had a nice, quite time staying here and loved the area. The property is very lovely! Catalina State park is near by and great for hiking. Our dog was very relaxed and enjoyed the openness.

Quiet and safe

Great stay in a quiet, safe area. It was magical watching sunrise and sunset over the Catalinas, especially with the east-facing patio. The giant bathtub was great for an epsom salt soak, and we made use of the full kitchen including blender!

We love the property and the location

All the comforts of home. We made a reservation for next year. Bike trail runs right by the property and a strip mall in walking distance.

Lovely Casita

This casita is just lovely and the location and view cannot be beat. Quick trip to the Catalina State Park’s hiking trails and any store you could wish. Owner is a joy to interface with!

Nice, clean and very comfortable place to stay.

My wife, Karen, and I enjoyed our two week stay here in Oro Valley. Wonderful Mountain View’s and the nighttime Tucson city lights in the distance made our visit a most relaxing time. Virgil bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable and met all of our expectations. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Getaway at a lovely Casita.

Enjoyed the property. Amenities are good and the bed is comfortable. Appreciated having a washer/dryer available. Close to shopping, restaurants and hiking, biking trails. Owners were friendly and responsive when I needed paper goods and dish soap.

Very private and wonderful views.

Enjoyed our stay. Limited amenities, but priced accordingly. Owner was very helpful and worked hard to let us have a nice stay. Some issues that the owner is addressing. A very great location and view of the mountains. Might consider staying again in the future.

The host was welcoming, and attentive to our needs. However, we spent the entire first day there cleaning the apartment. If there is a cleaning crew, they need to be fired. The apartment is small, but is usable. The laundry facility for all of the apartments is attached to this unit. If you are showering when the washing machine starts, you lose your hot water. The door to the laundry slams loudly when the other tenants use the laundry, because they don’t care if they wake you or not. The unit could definitely use a fresh coat of interior paint.With these problems in mind, we still enjoyed our stay there. It is close to just about anything that you might want to do. The front deck area was great, and we spent quite a bit of time there enjoying the sun.

Thanks for the comments and review. Yes, we had a cleaner that didn't do a great job and we have replaced her. It's physically not possible for the shower to lose hot water -- it has its own instant hot water heater. The only way you could lose hot water would be if you turned the water heater off or the breaker tripped. There is no connection between the water heater for the shower and the completely independent one for the laundry room. Thank you again for the comments.

Quiet, pristine, relaxing.

Great little home nestled in a quiet part of Oro valley. Perfect for a mini getaway, or an extended stay in the northern tucson area. Unit was sparkling clean, and the owner is communicative, honest, and cooperative. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
