The views were wonderful. We were looking for something away from all of the commotion of the touristy areas and this didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed the get away.

The property was perfect in every way. The layout is perfect for providing separation for families or within a family by having upstairs and downstairs full suites.The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils cooking. Everything was clean and well organized and K hey Nora, hey Nora, look at me. Please don't get yourself in trouble this morning ym did an incredible job of communicating. Not only specifics about the cabin but also an incredible amount about the area that allowed us to really help plan our trip.

Stayed here with a family of 5 in the fall. Very nice accomodations! We cooked most of our meals there so the well-stocked kitchen was much appreciated. There are not many spoons, but plenty of knives and utensils, pots and pans, baking dishes, mixing bowls...just about everything you could want to use. Crockpot made it easy to start cooking in the morning, go into town and do touristy things, and come back to a meal ready to eat. There were coffee filters, individual creamers, sugar, plus some salt/pepper/spices, cooking oil, etc.Be aware that the tap water has a noticeable sulfur taste - it's less strong when the water is chilled, so the provided Brita filter pitchers in the fridge are very helpful, but if you're sensitive to flavors in your water you might want to bring bottled.The stairs and upper floor creak pretty loudly (it is a cabin after all!) so light sleepers in your party might be best situated in the upstairs bedroom.Beds were extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and blankets.The teenagers in our group really enjoyed the pool table, and the hot tub was very nice as well.And of course, the mountain view from the front porches and kitchen window is gorgeous. The back porches are facing trees so you don't get a landscape view there, but we had fun watching birds on that side.The host responded very quickly when I messaged with a question during our stay.All in all, we were very happy with the place and would stay here again!

The cabin was great! The host provided clear instructions and included lots of thoughtful touches—snacks, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a travel toothbrush and toothpaste, which came in handy. The view was beautiful, and my mom (visiting from Phoenix) absolutely loved it. Highly recommend!

Awesome Stay

Moonlight Chalet is a wonderful cabin to rent! Great location and views plus a gracious host who answered any question we had promptly. The cabin was exceptionally clean. We felt right at home and can’t wait to go back!

Wow! This place was absolutely perfect for our family of four and our two dogs.The hosts truly thought of everything. The cabin was incredibly well organized, spotless, and stocked with everything we needed—and then some. It was obvious that a tremendous amount of thought went into making sure guests could simply arrive, relax, and enjoy their stay without worrying about a thing.The amenities were fantastic. From the hot tub and pool table to the beautiful balconies, there were so many great places to unwind and take in the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing several bears, which we were able to safely watch right from the cabin’s balconies!The location is excellent—just a short drive to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, and all the attractions in the area. Yet, when you’re at the cabin, you truly feel like you’re in the mountains. Waking up with a cup of coffee on the front porch while taking in the Smoky Mountain views was one of our favorite parts of the trip.Everything in the home was exceptionally well maintained, clean, and worked perfectly. This property is truly a 10 out of 10. We would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding Smoky Mountain getaway.

Great cabin for my family. Very clean and equipped with everything you need. Kym was an exceptional host. She made sure to help any way needed and was very detailed about everything. Even suggested some things close to do and places to eat. Definitely stay again.

Great Cabin

We had a great stay. Kym was an excellent host and we appreciated the many little touches she includes in the cabin. The drive up the mountain can be a little worrisome at night in the rain and fog but otherwise we found it relaxing. We were excited to see bears twice during our stay. The views are incredible and would highly recommend this cabin.

Beautiful view!

We had a great time at this gorgeous cabin! The mountain views are incredible and the scenery from the back makes you feel like you're in a giant treehouse. The decor is charming and gives the cabin a great cozy feeling that we truly appreciated. The whole rental was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the host is very kind and helpful. We highly recommend!

Kym was so wonderful to deal with. She asked how we wanted the property decorated and it did not disappoint! We asked for Christmas decorations and the cabin was very festive! The beds were so comfy, she has thought of literally everything that you might need. Would highly recommend Moonlight Chalet to anyone looking for a cozy cabin with amazing views. Loved the attention to detail the owner provides. Would happily return to this property! And bonus was seeing bears roaming through the neighborhood on Thanksgiving night!
