Recently down to studs renovated (2021) front beach home with pool! Beautiful well-appointed kitchen with top of the line GE Cafe appliances. Induction stove, microwave, dishwasher, 3 refrigerators, washer and dryer adjacent to main living area. Large lounging sofa with 70 inch smart tv for cozy TV nights. Each bedroom has individual temperature control- no more fighting over thermostats! Full house spray foam insulation keeps it cool during the hot summer months. Every bedroom has 50 inch smart TV and high speed internet for streaming. Large quartz kitchen island with seating for 6 and large custom dining table with benches comfortably seats 12-14. 1 K, 2 Q, F, Full bottom/Twin Top bunk, 1 large bean bag chair that open into a Queen bed upstairs, Downstairs (separate entrance and not connected to the upstairs main house) has 1 Twin XL and a triple Full Bunk. Enjoy morning sunrise on the comfortable outdoor sofa overlooking the Atlantic Ocean or upstairs on the top deck. Screened in below house with large seating area and table. Outdoor shower. New 4 hole putting green. Gas grill and charcoal grill, Coffee station with Keurig, full pot and french press, milk shake maker, s/mores station... Lots of extras! *EB does NOT allow golf carts from this location.**. Please no smoking or pets. Linens (bedding and towels for 16) are provided. No additional charge if you need to charge your EV. We have a Tesla and can accommodate charging your vehicle upon arrival and at departure for ease of travel. Free wifi 1 gigabit * NOTE: Guest cottage will be available for additional rental fee. Catchin' Rays was the perfect Place

The location is perfect, ocean front. The weather was a little cool, but we enjoyed the stay. Edisto is the perfect place to relax... There is nothing to do but to enjoy family and eat great seafood. We were able to fish and shell without the crowds. Rene (the home owner) was awesome to deal with. She made sure everything was perfect. Her house was equipped with anything we needed. The coffee bar was the hit in the mornings and the shake machine was perfect for the evening snacks. And 3 refrigerators was perfect for our 3 families. Plenty of room for all our cold stuff. The outdoor seating was so plentiful. We loved it so much, that we booked next year already!

Summer Escape

We loved our stay at Catchin'Rays! The house is quaint, cozy, and equipped with everything you may want on vacation! There were 7 of us and we each found our favorite little niches from which to enjoy the beach. We loved the personal touches and thoughtful attention we were given prior to and during our stay. Rene is a wonderful host! Edisto is not filled with franchises or high rises, but maintains it's unique beachy identity. We had a wonderful, laid back week with our family! Thank You!

Family vacation

I felt like we were staying at a 5 star resort. Not only was the location perfect, oceanfront, the house was so inviting. They left nothing to be desired. There were 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children. I can’t think of anything that we needed that the owners didn’t provide. I’d highly recommend “Catchin’ Rays at Edisto Beach”! You will not be disappointed and like us can’t wait to stay there again next summer.

Amazing Location, house and the owners Mark & Rene

Hands down, five stars, search no more! Mark and Renè spared no expense when furnishing this lovely beachfront property. This home is absolutely stunning inside and out; it has everything you’ll need for a luxurious Edisto retreat. The beautiful kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking supplies, a milkshake maker, and a s’more station. There’s dining at the kitchen island bar for 6-8 people as well as a dining room table big enough for at least 12-14 people. There’s also ample outdoor dining and seating options with an amazing ocean view. Although you will not see the sun setting from this location, you cannot beat the sunrise. There’s 5 total bedrooms in the home, 4 upstairs, and a private suite on the bottom level. All bedrooms come with ample linens, bedding, big screen smart TV, and their own AC/heating units. The home has 4 total bathrooms, 3 upstairs and 1 available in the suite on the bottom level. The suite has a unique changing room which can be accessed from outside or from within the suite. In the changing room there are beach towels, life jackets, books, and ample room to change from swimming at the pool or in the ocean. Yes, you read that right, the cherry on top is the large in ground POOL! The pool has floats, seating for lounging/sunbathing, and googles. There are two grills (one charcoal and one propane) available for guest use too. Prefer the ocean? Catching Rays provides mini coolers, beach chairs, and games to use for a day on the beach. Stairs to beach is less than 100 yards. It’s evident the Rays designed this home with their guests in mind. The home feels more like a bed and breakfast because of their personal, special touch! The Rays were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating from booking to departure. They are only a call away if there is anything needed during your stay, but, honestly I’d be surprised if it was not already available! They’ve literally thought of EVERYTHING! Family vaca

Amazing. I was skeptical about having a pool, and easy access to the ocean. It was the best decision. Kids & adults swam all day, either in the pool or ocean. Great area, wonderful house with too many amenities to name. Everyone from 4-64 had a great time.

The best beach rental!!!

If you get a chance to rent this house do it! I promise you will not be disappointed. The house is well equipped throughout from the well stocked kitchen for great family meals to games, beach supplies pool floats and a gas grill. We really felt comfortable all week and really enjoyed our stay. Renee and Mark do a great job at making sure your time in their home is enjoyable.

Stay here!! It will exceed all your expectations!

I don’t even know where to start writing this. Our stay was FANTASTIC!!! It was our family’s favorite vacation we have ever taken. We had high expectations going in. Everyone of them was met and exceeded. First off, the owners were so incredibly nice!! Rene was really good at communicating everything clearly, answered any questions, made sure we were more then comfortable. We had the blessing of getting to chat with her and her husband. We can’t say enough good things about them! That leads to the property itself. Rene’s hostess heart shines through the minute you walk in the door. The house is BEAUTIFUL! The colors, the decor, all the things included. Towels, dish wear, extra beach towels, lotion, all the little things that you forget you need. The beds were super comfortable. The layout was awesome. It sleeps so many people but also is great for a smaller family to enjoy all the amenities. And then you get to the deck. Oh my gosh! How to even explain how pretty it is! There is some really comfy furniture out there. A beautiful table that we really enjoyed eating dinner on. An upper deck that was beautiful and we enjoyed the awesome view. We really enjoyed the pool and stargazing at night. Edisto Beach has so many fun things to offer as well. We spent time eating out, walking the beach, and driving around to check out all the little local spots. This review is long but we want you to know that this place is gorgeous. Edisto Beach is amazing. Rene and Mark are incredible people. They have made a wonderful, beautiful place that feels like home (but more special ;) ). We can’t recommend this place enough. Book it. You won’t regret it.
