It is a beautiful and scenic location amazing the bald eagles that was on the river! We can’t wait to go back in the summer months.

Exactly what we hoped for.

Blue suede was wonderful. You might think that staying above a working bar would be noisy, but it was actually quite pleasant. The view of the river was outstanding and we enjoyed long hours sitting on the deck watching the sunset and the barges go by. Everything was clean and tidy and communication with our host was easy and quick. If I head up to the LeClaire Iowa region again, I’ll stay here again.

Getaway road trip

This place was perfect to get away from the big city. Everyone in Port Byron was welcoming. And the restaurants around there are all privately owned, a lot of Great places to eat. Sitting on the balcony watching the Mississippi river roll by was pretty relaxing also

Birthday getaway

Great scenic condo on the river. Updated decor, comfy, beds, clean, well-stocked kitchen. So relaxing to drink coffee on the outdoor deck in the am. Would love to stay again❤️

Weekend at the drag strip

Came back to Port Byron because we were attending the Street Outlaws drag race in Cordova. We discovered Port Byron 2 years ago and just fell in love. This mini apartment is right on the main drag making everything walkable. We had a Sunday morning bonus with a huge car show!!

Great place

Very clean and comfortable beds. We were a little bummed about the coffee shop/bar downstairs wasn't open on Sunday or Monday. Enjoyed the sunset over the river from the deck.

Beautiful view

Perfect spot to meet up with my sister for a weekend visit. The property is as beautiful in person as the pictures suggest. Very comfortable beds. Great location, right on the Mississippi River. Property owner was responsive to any questions.

Gorgeous!

What a perfect 4 days in Port Byron! This was our second time staying with Steve and Judi. Blue Suede Suites North was spacious, clean, comfy, warm and had everything we needed. Kitchen was well-equipped, the deck has seating for 4, quiet conversations, and amazing sunsets! The views are magnificent! Steve and Judi responded quickly to check-in info. Blue Suede was open at 3:00 for drinks and coffees, but, otherwise, the town was quiet.We chose dinner at Jimmie Lee's, and it looked like a few of the smaller local places were also open. Tugger's was NOT open during our stay. We spent a day in Galena and a day in LeClaire. The condo was a great jumping-off place! Not as much fall foliage as we hoped, but still a beautiful location. We'll be back next year!!

Absolutely perfect getaway

We did not realize when i made the initial booking that it is on the second story of a upper scale lounge/cocktail bar and that there was live music on Friday's and Saturdays. We didn't check in till 8pm on Friday, and this place was hopping. One of the best live bands we have ever heard playing in the corner inside, couples dancing, people relaxing out on the patio by the firepit tables. This stay was a weekend getaway for us for our 23rd anniversary, so kids stayed home. Met 2 wonderful couples out on the patio and just hung out talking like old friends. Once one couple left the other couple asked us how long we had known the leaving couple, to which we responded "we just met them the same as you guys". The upscale coffee/cocktails with the Elvis theme keeps the rif raf away while providing a very classy place to relax in you want. Our stay upstairs was great. Clean linens, clean furniture, comfortable bathroom, nice views of the mighty Mississippi. For a nearly 90° weekend it was pleasantly quiet on the river. Enjoyed coffee on the deck and soaking in the fresh air. Only twice did we have a train go by and it was during the day so it didn't interrupt sleep. The couple we sat at the fire table gave us a local recommendation for an anniversary meal and it by far is in the top 5 dining experiences we've ever had. In Davenport is a restaurant called the Monarch. A 6oz. filet topped with carb was one of the best we've ever had. We only live 2hrs away and will be back

Girls weekend

What a great property! Check in was easy, place was clean, beds were comfy, there were all the amenities needed for us to feel at home and the view was incredible. We will definitely be back!

Sweet stay

Took 2 days to just get away and relax. This place was a great place to just that. The apartment was amazing. The bar downstairs was very classy and spotless. I give this place 5 plus stars!

Great Views, Cool Place.

You see the photos, but we still had the "Wow" reaction when we walked in. The floor to ceiling window vies of the Mississippi River were very cool. I was surprise how beautiful the river was. I had an old image of the river around St. Louis as a dark, muddy, rocks on shore, but this are looks more like a beautiful lake than a river. The downstairs lounge was fun, went down for a drink and a conversation on Friday. Total transparency, the Rock Band playing three sets on Saturday night was a little rough. Especially the drum set. But we powered through!

Beautiful condo on the river. Enjoyed everything about this place! Owners were great and helpful, their help were wonderful. Condo was clean, had everything we needed and centrally located. We also had a great time at Tug fest!

Golf getaway

The owner was awesome. The suite was beautiful with a spectacular view the Mississippi River. It was in a great location. Close to restaurants and even a cocktail bar below the suite. It close to the John Deere Classic and Byron Hills golf course, Planning on coming back for an extended stay to explore the area on both sides of the Mighty Mississippi River.

Great location and beautiful property

We had a fantastic stay at this clean and charming property. The location is great, right on the Mississippi and located close to dining and night life. The property is located on top of Blue Suede, a local gathering spot for drinks and coffee. You will enjoy live music on the weekends. We also enjoyed great food and custom cocktails at Tuggers, just two doors down. You will not regret staying at this special spot. Great for a small family or two couples. We would happily stay again.

The condo was new, nicely decorated, and very clean. Views overlooking the Mississippi River were only marred by the Canadian fires on days when air quality was minimal. The town did not offer much, but we went into Iowa for meandering. Quiet place. Relaxing place.

Relaxing stay

This was a very nice retreat for us as we enjoyed a wedding in the area. Nice location to LeClaire which has lots to do. There is a bar below the property. They had music Sat night but it ended fairly early so we didn’t mind.
