What a great place! Very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful decor, and lots of thoughtful touches and helpful information. It felt comfortable and private, making it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. We really enjoyed it!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our anniversary. The Mod is as advertised and reviewed. Clean and modern in a country setting but still very close to Saluda’s restaurants. We ate at the Purple Onion one night and it was very good. Short and scenic drive into Asheville. Will stay again!

Devin we apologize for not meeting your expectations. When choosing a mattress it is difficult as everyone is so different in what they desire. We looked at ratings and the Avocado mattress rated very high. It is made of organic cotton and organic wool. Thank you for indicating its a great place to stay and we hope you will return.

Our stay was wonderful! The place is exceptionally clean and even better than advertised. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! My wife and I would definitely love to stay here another time.

The Perfect Getaway

The Mod was a great place for a weekend getaway. Mike and Kasey were very nice and helpful with places tour. Would definitely stay here again.

Was a perfect fall getaway place for 2. The place is new, modern and very clean. It is very private and on a pretty yard complete with a cute deck and fire pit with plenty of wood. Hosts were helpful and communicated points of interest and local businesses. We would recommend this place for sure

Perfect spot, again

Amazing Mountain Getaway

We loved our stay in this new, modern and spotless hideaway in the woods and can’t wait to come back! Fantastic hosts had everything set to make our stay the best.

We loved our stay at The Mod! It was super clean, nicely furnished, and had some really cool decor. My wife's already planning kitchen upgrades at home. The chill country setting was perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back.

Beautiful area

Wonderful place to stay, felt very welcome and even had a nice sweet surprise waiting for us . Near everything, I'm obsessed with the area.

The hosts were amazing. Communicated very well and were super helpful with things to do. The place was super clean and had fully stocked kitchen utensils and cookware. We grilled out in the firepit area most nights. The firewood stack was very helpful and we really enjoyed our time outside. This was a secluded spot with no other cabins, etc. near us. We really enjoyed our stay and would book with them again.

Quick getaway

Loved staying at the barn. Very clean, loved Saluda and plenty to do around the area and the hosts were wonderful!

Great hideaway

Very comfortable, clean and thoughtfully created unit that’s next to a modern barn near Saluda. There’s a nice desk to relax and have coffee and listen to the birds. Hosts were kind and accommodating. I would stay again.

Great Stay!

My wife and I had such a great time at the Barndominium! Beautiful and well furnished along with lovely scenery, it made for a perfect trip to Saluda. Mike and Kasey were fantastic hosts and made some really good local recommendations to round out our stay. Totally recommend!

Very nice little getaway. Very quiet and peaceful. Had a great weekend while up there. The hosts are great people and replies right back with you. Very well supplied with stuff you need. Definitely recommend this place for a couple who just want to get away.

Saluda Gem

Great location close to everything but far enough away in a quiet setting. Home is beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed and lots of extras provided by awesome host. Will definitely stay here again when in Saluda.

Relaxing getaway

This place was great, had all I needed plus some! Very clean, peaceful, and had a comfortable contemporary feel to it! The owner went above and beyond on communication and hospitality. Would love to go back!
