We had a great time. This home was decorated nicely and was immaculate . The views are phenomenal. Pretty close to everything we enjoyed ourselves .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was equipped with everything we needed. The large glass windows and spacious deck were perfect for relaxing and taking in the wide views of the Kennebec River and shoreline. We particularly enjoyed the sunsets and birds. We highly recommend the cottage for anyone looking for peace and relaxation in a beautiful setting.

This was our 3rd visit and we love this place! Right on the water, has everything we need and easy for our 98 year old Mom to get around. David and Jenepher are great hosts, always available if you have a question and they check in to ensure all is well. We hope to back again next year!

This was an amazing experience! On the Rocks was a once in a lifetime find. Sun or clouds it was amazing. The sunsets are divine. Our hosts were so attentive. You can be in the water, hike and explore. The house was spotless having an amazing deck to see the view and have coffee every morning was spectacular!

Great stay at On The Rocks! The pics don’t capture the care and thoughtfulness David and Jenepher put into this place. We loved it and are already talking about when another stay here is happening! Clean, great cooking kitchen and supplies..and that view…memorable.Thank you!

My husband and I have been renting properties on the ocean in Maine for three decades. David and Jenepher's cottage was one of our all-time favorites! So many good things to say. Sparkling clean! The kitchen is perfectly stocked with just the right amount of everything for cooking in. Comfortable bed. Clean fluffy towels. The big room is nicely arranged for comfort and enjoying the feel of the ocean. The sunny and peaceful deck was our absolute favorite spot, so good to just relax and unwind! David and Jenepher are super friendly, such great hosts. My husband and I stayed for eight nights in September and enjoyed every moment. Would love to return and highly recommend!!

Unparalleled proximity and views of the water. Creative, fun, practical, and comfortable accommodations. Clean! A/C was appreciated. Friendly hosts with clear communication. Our every need was anticipated. This was a week in Maine our family of four will never forget!

The house and the view were absolutely spectacular and exceeded our expectations. The surrounding area was beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax. Our hosts, David and Jenepher, were responsive, accessible, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The house was spotless, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed.The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Whether we were inside the house or relaxing on the deck, the scenery was simply unbeatable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything about this was excellent! My wife, son and I enjoyed a week at the property between dropping daughter off at college and then dropping him off. Thank you David and Jenepher! We are definitely planning on coming back next time we are on the east coast.Some tips to future guests: On your way in be sure to stop at the Shaw's grocery store in Bath to buy all the provisions you will need. Be sure to buy bottled water by the gallon. I recommend filling up the gas tank in town as well.Reid State Park is about 15 minutes away and not to be missed in my opinion. The hosts provide a state park pass so visiting is free. Five Islands Lobster is just a few minutes from there, you can bring your own beverages and enjoy on their wharf.We didn't do any kayaking but you can rent them by the day or week, hosts have info on that.The large structure you are looking at across the bay is Fort Popham and there is a state park and very long beach adjacent to it. It's well worth the 50 minute drive.

Beautiful spot with amazing views of the Kennebec, Fort Popham, and lots of comings and goings on the water. The weather changes as quickly as the tides with fog, cool breezes, and full sun. It is a glorious spot to avoid the heat just 10 miles inland. It is a terrific launch pad for walks, beaches, bike rides, food, and tourist spots.

Absolutely perfect!

We have never been to a more beautiful location! The cottage was spotless and fully stocked with everything needed! The views are breathtaking from every room and balcony. The area is very friendly and peaceful. Absolutely perfect vacation!

Maine retreat

Views were wonderful. Sunset gorgeous every night. You will want to bring kayaks or an inflatable boat with a motor to putter around with if you have one. If not you will simply relax on the deck. Wonderful stay

Oceanfront paradise

Booked this with another couple. The place was exactly as advertised, a maritime cottage over the water. High and low tides changed the views and smells. This was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet getaway.

On The Rocks is the ultimate Maine getaway. Tucked into the end of the Georgetown peninsula, you have no reason to leave. And yet, there is so much to explore in the beautiful part of Maine from state parks/beaches to fun waterside restaurants and quaint shops. David and Jenipher have outfitted the house with everything you’ll need for your stay. The house is spotless and check in was a breeze with David showing us around. We’d love to return to this little gem!

Spectacular Home

On the Rocks is sublime!

Our stay at this exceptional spot was heavenly. The house is peaceful, beautiful, and stylish—very Maine-y, too! Should one get antsy relaxing on the spacious deck, there is just enough to do in the area. Beach access is provided. The owners are readily available if assistance is needed (we texted). I can't imagine a better stay. Incredible views!

On the Rocks is Top Shelf!

If there is a better place with better hosts on the Coast of Maine we have yet to find it! David and Jenepher are wonderful and this cottage is fabulous! As Jenepher said 'you can't get any closer to the water without being in it'! We had a great week here and hope to be back next year.
