We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Freeport at Irena’s home. The location was exactly what we were looking for. Only 11 short minutes to downtown shops, restaurants and groceries. Less than 10 minutes to Wolfe’s Neck State Park which has great trails along the bay and in the woods. The home is located on a peaceful street and right on the bay. Gorgeous water views, steps down to the dock and seats out back overlooking the water. Inside you’ll find a super clean and comfortable home with everything you could possibly need! The kitchen was most stocked we’ve seen at any rental. Communication was fast and easy. After coming up to Freeport for over 25 years and always staying in a hotel we decided we’d stay longer and at a home rental for this trip. Not a regret in sight. Can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Truly an exceptional stay and the first rented vacation home where I can say the bathroom and shower was actually clean. The host responds quickly and the home is so welcoming. She's thought of everything you may need! It was pretty cool to look for rocks and shells of the back of the property when the tide went down; when the tide was up it was beautiful and relaxing listening to the waves on the rocks. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The house was awesome with great waterfrontage on Casco Bay and amazing sunrises. The home was clean and the host was excellent with communication including the orientation to the property. Look forward to our next stay there!

Perfect stay in Maine

The house was perfect! Beautiful views, right on the water. Great location, close to Freeport and plenty other Maine towns we could explore. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Communication with host was easy and great. Would stay again if in the area.

This was our second long-term stay at Irena's home. It is a beautiful spot with lovely water views in a quiet neighborhood. Irena is extremely responsive and a pleasure with whom to work. I highly recommend a visit to this waterfront cottage.

Quintessential Maine Getaway

This home is beautifully decorated and in the most peaceful location - we all wished we could move in! The host was quick to respond and great to work with. The binoculars were a delightful added touch to enjoy the wildlife and view! Fabulous stay all around!

Awesome stay in the Freeport area

Excellent location on the water with a nice dock and deck with comfortable chairs that are great for morning coffee. Supremely quiet neighborhood. The master bedroom is huge and has an incredible view over the bay. Irene, our host, was very communicative and clearly focused on ensuring a great experience, including some thoughtful touches like fresh local coffee and a well equipped kitchen. Beds were clean and comfortable. The area is awesome to explore - we highly recommend an LL Bean guided kayak tour.

A wonderful stay

We just spent three weeks on Flying Point Road. The home is beautifully situated and the views are spectacular. Looking out from the upstairs bedroom, you feel as though you are on a boat. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. We did quite a bit of cooking and lacked nothing in the kitchen. Irena is responsive and a joy with whom to work. Certainly go to Maine Beer in Freeport and Bao Bao Dumpling in Brunswick.

Absolutely Incredible!

Everything about our stay at the “House on Flying Point” was perfect. If you love coastal Maine, this is the place! The view from the Master Bedroom took my breath away every single time I walked into the room! Location is perfect - away from town but close enough to run out for a coffee & muffin. Everything was clean and organized. The only problem we had was having to leave!!! We’ll be back for sure!
