We had a wonderful time. The bungalow was beautiful, and very well maintained. Susan has thought of everything, and really made us feel right at home. The property had breathtaking views from every window. It was secluded, but not very far from town. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful property. Well maintained. Well equipped. Gorgeous sunsets. Friendly and responsive hosts. Many excellent restaurants nearby. Minke whales and Harbor seals and an Osprey pair spotted while kayaking. 10/10 experience.

The description of the property and bungalow was accurate. Beautiful scenic views of not just the bay area on the property but plenty of other spots nearby too. Host are close by, but not too close, and easy to get a hold of if needed. Lots to see and do in this coastal area of Maine. Susan and Ned gave us some great suggestions on sites to see, places to go and local restaurants, which are not hard to find or too far away. Lots to see in this area. May have to return and do more exploring. 4 days was not enough.

Awesome location. The bungalow is well appointed, seems like Ned and Susan thought of everything. Unfortunately, due to a couple rainy days, we didn't get to fully enjoy the beach and dock.

Tranquil Waterfront Getaway

The Bungalow was perfect in every way -100% outfitted for a relaxing stay on the Maine shoreline. Ned and Susan were outstanding hosts who sought to make our stay memorable on their one-of-a-kind sprawling property.

This Bungalow is a gem! Great views with access to water and a great food truck right down the road in the cove. We loved having coffee in the morning on the screened in porch.The hosts were wonderful. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Beautiful Respite

wonderful bungalow in a an unparalleled setting. so many lovely touches and our hosts could not have been more communicative or flexible. Wish we could be in Maine every weekend - and will definitely stay here again when we do get to return.

Beautiful ocean front just steps from the well appointed, extremely comfortable bungalow. It is the perfect location from which to enjoy Midcoast Maine. Susan was a gracious and welcoming hostess and she and Ned have created a fabulous getaway with so much care for the property and thoughtful details in the bungalow. We could not have asked for a better stay.

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect spot to enjoy our honeymoon. The house is cozy and equipped with everything we needed, and the grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Susan and Ned were excellent hosts.

Lovely property

We rented The Bungalow along with the other 2 properties on Ned and Susan's beautiful piece of Earth, for a small family wedding. The bridal couple stayed here, and enjoyed the privacy.

Wow! This was a perfect vacation bungalow for us! We enjoyed the short hiking paths through the meadow (so nice) and along the cliff looking out over the bay. Happy hour sunsets were beautiful. The birding was great, too. We would give the stay a 6 out of 5.

On the water

The property is beautiful, right on the water in Harpswell. The bungalow is lovely and was a very comfortable place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Maine.
