Come and visit Cape May and relax with a stay at this charming 2-bedroom, 1-bath vacation rental! Nestled just 5 minutes drive from the Bayside Beach, this recently updated home features nautical/boho decor and deck to hang out! When you're not relaxing on the shore, venture out and visit the Cape May Lighthouse, sip your way through local wineries and amazing sunsets every evening. Nearby you can find Wildwood beaches, breweries, and wineries. Both Wildwood and Cape May are a 15 minutes drive. La Casa del Mar, is a newly renovated beach house. The space sleeps 4 people maximum, it has a large queen bed and a bunk bed (full size mattress on each bunk bed). Main bedroom has a dedicated workspace and a walk in closet. Second bedroom has a walk in closet, with a Laundry room. This place is perfect for couples with kids or couples wanting a get away or a private retreat. Our place is that's equipped with: * a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pan, dishes, silverware, blender, coffee maker and anything else you might need around the kitchen) * Appliances: Large Fridge 33" wide, Microwave, dish washer, and stove/oven. * 3 TVs: 1 smart Fire TVs in each bedroom, 1 Large 55 inch screen HD TV set up with GOVEE Ambient Lighting and a Firestick (Total 3 TVs) with access to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and much more. *Bedrooms have: luxury linens, pillows, nightstands with a charging outlet in the rear of the stand. * Internet: Lightning fast internet provided from Xfinity. * Newly refinished original hardwood floors. * Dedicated work space * Laundry room with dryer and washer, ironing board, iron, and detergent. * Beach chairs * Outdoor patio tables and chairs Additionally, there is keyless entry that will speed up your check in. We have a 3 Car driveway and off-street parking in front of home Come be our guest and enjoy the hidden gem that is the quiet Cape May Villas. During your stay we recommend enjoying the quiet and radiant sun room or have a cup of coffee on the deck while rocking back and forth on the rockers. The entire house is available for guest. Garage is off limits. I’m always available should any question arise. 😬 The beach entrance to the Delaware Bay is only 5 minutes drive away. So convenient to explore, fish or just sit and relax. Take a walk in the morning with coffee or see the sunset in the evening with a drink. Nearby there's a Wawa where you can go buy anything you need, as well as a Walgreens. Around the area you will find an awesome ice cream spot that you can drive thru or walk in to enjoy during a hot day. To get around we recommend a car. With a car you will be able to access close by beaches and other attractions. One of our favorite spots to go see the sunset is Sunset beach which is a quick 20 minute ride to Cape May Island. Here you can often observe dolphins 🐬 and beautiful sunsets 🌅. You can also see the icon sunken ship 🚢 of the S.S. Atlantus. Cooking as a family, reading books & playing cards in the screened porch, and playing at the secluded beach with our dog was our highlights. Oh, and the kids enjoyed walking out for ice cream. Hosts, Xavier and Julie were gracious and quick to respond to communications.

Everything we needed

This property was clean and cozy. The sunroom was a plus to drop off shoes and beach gear to keep separate from the living space. Our kids LOVED the bunk beds! This property provided everything we needed, and we made wonderful memories there!

Host is top notch!

Had a great time staying at Casa Del Mar. My wife and I decided to take a last minute trip with the family to Cape May for 3 days. Casa Del Mar was the perfect choice, especially since we had a dog. Only a 12 minute drive to Cape May, it was close enough to make our visit awesome. Host was top notch with communication and accommodating. Highly recommend this place!

We will most definitely return! The hosts of this listing are so accommodating and friendly. They genuinely care about their guests and go the extra mile to make the stay perfect. The house was in a quiet neighborhood perfect for a weekend getaway and close to so many nice restaurants. Perfect distance from main areas of cape may and wildwood. The house was so clean and welcoming. We had the best stay!

Great!

This house was perfect for a weekend trip! It is close to Cape May and has many restaurants and places nearby for convenience. The backyard is fenced in and big and the house is just the right size. The owner, Xavier, is very responsive and provides a lot of information regarding the house, and the surrounding area. We found it very helpful and tried a few new places that were great! Thank you, Xavier and your family!

Holiday Visit

We were in town from Louisiana visiting my parents and found that we needed more room for all visitors staying at my parents’ house. This property was within walking distance to mom and dad and seemed perfect I reached out to Xavier and he was extremely responsive and helpful booking a same day reservation and even messaged a few hours later to say the property was ready for early check-in! The property was very clean, had everything we needed (including phone chargers in the two bedrooms!), and Xavier messaged a few times during our stay to ensure all was okay. This will definitely be my go-to property to check availability the next time we are in town.

Family Vacation

My family and I decided to celebrate Spring Break with a quick trip to Cape May. I'm so happy that we decided to stay at Casa Del Mar! We felt at home as soon as we arrived. From a welcome note/snack basket (which my pre-teen son devoured haha) to items for my dog, the owners took the time to add all the "extras" to make our stay so enjoyable. In addition to all of the extras, we were also able to have an early check-in and late check-out, which was wonderful. The house was very clean and exactly as advertised. It was so enjoyable to sit in the sunroom and read while having my morning coffee. The location of the house was convenient to everything that we wanted to do. I also felt very safe taking my dog for walks through the neighborhood and surrounding area. Xavier is an amazing host and his communication was fantastic. I would highly recommend renting from him and his family.

Home Away From Home

Casa Del Mar is a beautiful, cozy beach house. The property was clean and the decor fitting! Conveniently located to many local attractions and a five minute drive to the beach! Xavier is truly “super hosts” and we will definitely be back!

This place is simply stunning and amazing. Cape May completely captivated me and my family the first time we visiting. Here you can experience dolphin watching and beautiful sunsets, you can explore the gorgeous city and visit local spots such as Wildwood, Cape May North, the Cape May Zoo and many touristic attractions. This part of New Jersey feels like a different state altogether. Once you visit here you will be planning your next trip back!
