Lovely SD stay

This property is so lovely! The bedrooms are all spacious and cutely decorated. The pool and hot tub are perfection. The private front yard is so tranquil and wonderful for pets. The hosts were super nice and helpful, even allowing me to check in a week early when it turned out I needed to evacuate from the LA fires. So instead of having to cancel I got to just start the vacation early and get away from the stress and smoke in LA, I was so grateful for that! I would absolutely stay here again!

Great location, close to everything

We had a great time during our stay. This location is back in a neighborhood but is close to everything - grocery store, restaurants, seemingly 15 minutes or less from all the attractions. We had a couple of minor issues (pool heating, grill), but the owner was very responsive.

Very nice with limitations preventing 5 stars

Older property with some deficiencies. Good communications with host. However, did not like that used bar soap and used tubes of toothpast were provided. Quite a bit of attention to detail is needed. Towels were stored in closet. Temps were limited to to higher than 69 fegreesattentionprovided.

San Diego Property With Pool

The property is in a quiet residential area, a 20 min walk to bars & restaurants. We got an Uber to Old Town for around $10 including tip & $12 back. The pool was good, we didnt need it heated.

Great place for family

Enjoyed our stay. Comfy beds. Pool was a plus, was a hot week we were there! Towels and toys provided. Lots of room to spread out, 4 adults and 3 kids, including a 13 year old had plenty to keep busy. Host very responsive. Coffee bar was appreciated. Nice not to worry if we brought right size filters! Quiet area and room to roam front and back. Close to all major attractions. Easy check in. Would love to stay again!

A quiet retreat

A nice comfy home for the friend group that is seeking a break from the city and quiet bonding time. Pool was a highlight and lots of indoor activities available: baking, board games. A good distance from city life that can enjoy some time in gaslamp or little Italy but will have a good place to retreat back to.

Great home base for a wedding weekend

We stayed at the property with our family for a wedding. The property was well stocked, which we appreciate it since we forgot our toothbrushes. It was very enjoyable to use the pool and spa.

Highly recommended

Spacious, comfortable, working spa (a first for us), great communication with the property manager (huge help in a crisis), very comfortable bed (unlike previous Vrbo unit), all appliances worked (also unlike previous Vrbo unit), two full bathrooms.

A Great home-base for a lot of activities

Wonderfully appointed home, comfy beds, plenty of space for 3 adults and two kids under 12 who absolutely loved the pool and hot tub. Great location, close to Sea World, Balboa Park, the Zoo and the beach. Hosts are super attentive and informative, quick to help on anything you might need. Five stars overall!

Beautiful property in San Diego central to everything

The pool and hot tub were absolutely amazing. Pictures fail to do the pool justice. The owner was very attentive and excellent to communicate with. He wanted to make sure we had a great stay. Everything in the property was in great working order. The property has several windows and fans which made it very enjoyable to have a nice breeze flowing through the house. A very enjoyable stay in sunny San Diego.

Great, quiet location

Pool and spa were great as were accommodations. Not far from the natural reserve which made for a nice run/hike. Kitchen had necessities to cook meals and we were able to use outdoor grill. Only negative was that games that were advertised were missing a lot of pieces. Sound system and tV options were great.

Great time in SD

Property in great neighborhood, easy access to everything. House and bathrooms were very clean, plenty of linens and towels for the pool/spa. Plenty of space for socializing or privacy if needed. Pool/Spa was the highlight during our time there - super clean and water temps were perfect. Our group of four enjoyed this home very much and host was quick respond to all minor questions/issues.

Our VRBO experience

It was a very nice house. When we arrived all of the windows were open. It became very warm so we shut the windows and requested that the air conditioning please be put on as it was 83 degrees in the house. The exhaust fan in the main bedroom bathroom did not work so we opened up the bathroom window to unsteam the bathroom and then that shut down the air conditioning. After we re-requested the air be put back on, it was explained to us that if any window is open it will shut off the a/c. We loved the pool and hot tub. We loved the 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. We put the garbage out on Tuesday night as per written directions, the garbage was picked up the recycling was not picked up. We loved the outside gate that we were able to lock when we were gone or asleep.

Great location and nice home

We enjoyed our weekend trip to this home. The pool/hot tub were great after a long day playing golf. Very quiet neighborhood and super close to all the major attractions San Diego has to offer. Only a few odd things but nothing that wouldn’t stop me from booking again… house had no toilet paper so we had to go buy some, they have a ring camera that watches the front of house which was kind of weird being watched when we came and left from the house and the cleaning crew was literally sitting outside the place a half hour before check out time which made us feel rushed to get out. Overall 5/5 for a vacation home and everyone enjoyed the place!

Great vacation getaway!

We were looking for a place in the sun for 2 weeks in a location with lots to do and found this house. Perfect location with easy access to many areas and fun things to do. The owner was very easy to communicate with and was exceptionally accommodating. Pool and hot tub area were perfect for relaxing. We definitely would stay again! Girls weekend

We had a lovely stay. The backyard is perfectly set up for lounging and socializing. The large dining table was excellent for a few rounds of Apples to Apples. The hosts were very responsive and I would stay here again.

Enjoyable poolside stay during Christmas

We rented this home for Christmas to meet up with family in San Diego. Overall, we liked the spaciousness, the multiple entertainment possibilities (pool, hottub, pingpong, TV with netflix, games,etc.), and the spacious kitchen. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub to relax in the evenings, and ate breakfast by the pool in the sunny mornings. We loved that the spacious kitchen accommodated many people at the same time and the bar space was good for serving food. However, the dining table was too small so we had to divide ourselves at the table and bar. Would certainly be a better experience with a bigger dining table accommodating everyone. A few key items were missing from the kitchen inventory but we suggested the owner to get those for the next visitors. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking but needs some more utensils and mugs. The fridge was large and spacious and able to hold enough food for our party of 8 for 5 days. One of the 4 bedrooms only had a single bed and therefore one of our folks had to sleep in the couch in the living room- ok but not very comfortable. A second twin bed could also be a great addition. Also great to have easy access to washer and dryer. Overall, a convenient location close to some canyon walks and grocery stores. Host was very responsive by text. A nice place to stay in San Diego with family / friends!

A lower stress Thanksgiving

We needed a place to host Thanksgiving that would be convenient for extended family living in San Diego. They have very nice homes of their own but having all in one of their homes was going to feel like an invasion. With 4 bedrooms there was a spare bedroom that could serve as the hideaway spot for the 1 year old grand nephew. Adding a card table to the existing dining room table made for spacious seating for all with room to add further seating if we can convince other relatives to join us in future years. The kitchen was spacious and the long, wide pass-through counter into the dining room made it very easy to serve food buffet style. I totally underestimated the magical advantage of arriving with an empty refrigerator to easily hold all of the ingredients I needed with none of the distracting, space occupying condiments and foods of my home refrigerator. The outdoor grill was perfect for cooking a 16 pound turkey, saving precious oven space for the hot sides.
