We had a wonderful stay in David’s apartment! It’s a great location with tons of restaurants and boulangeries nearby. His place was clean and quiet and I would recommend it to anyone wanting an easily walkable stay in Paris!

Grant, having restaurants and boulangeries a short stroll away is what makes Paris feel effortless, and the quiet inside the apartment is a nice counterbalance to all that activity. Anyone wanting an easy, walkable base in the city will find this one hard to beat.

Apartment is beautiful, with great food and shopping options all around. Fantastic neighborhood very close to Pantheon and Notre Dame. We really enjoyed the stay, LOVED the many books (an outstanding collection btw) and in English. Would love to stay again next time we are in Paris! Thank you!

Loved this stay! Family friendly and the hosts were so nice, attentive. I have a toddler with lots to load in and out so it being on the ground floor was so convenient. Also the host owns the pizza spot next to it and they were the best!!

The location of this flat is amazing!! Our first visit to Paris and we really loved the fifth with so many friendly people around, quiet, great restaurants including right next door where the owners took us in like family. It’s close to many metro stops and Notre Dame and Luxembourg Gardens. We wanted a two bedroom which was hard to find and this flat was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Great communication from our host, check in and out instructions were prompt and easy to follow. We hope we can come back and see all of our new friends soon.

Pros: Great neighborhood, easy walk to restaurants, bakeries, groceries, and Metro.Cons: Apartment reeked of cat urine, ant infestation, poorly functioning clothes washer and dryer, and unclear arrival instructions.

For location it’s a 9/10. Could only be better with a metro stop right outside the door. The area is hopping with young folks enjoying nightlife. There are numerous bars, cafes, restaurants, and sandwich stands within a 5 min walk. The property is a nice enough old place, but it looks like it’s in the middle of construction. There are some incomplete things, it’s a bit tough to squeeze past the counter to the toilet. Bigger American folks may have real trouble. The check-in process involves stopping at some other location to get the key with a code from a grocery store. For my introduction to Paris, this was a bit rough to explain en Francais to my Uber driver and key master. The rest was pretty smooth after that.

It’s really a great place to stay- close to restaurants and boulangeries, the metro, and sites to explore. The check-in was easy- we just had our taxi driver pull over so I could hop out quickly at the key pickup location and then we easily found the place. The owners were very responsive to our messages; on the second day we heard a water drip (location unknown) and alerted the owner who quickly responded with an acknowledgment and explanation that it was an upstairs apartment issue that was being addressed. Unfortunately it was still not fixed by the end of our stay a couple of days later so by then the bathroom had developed a musty smell. We alerted the owner again and they acknowledged and apologized for the problem. It really did not affect our stay and the rest of the apartment was quite nice and comfortable, but I felt a 4.7 star review reasonable given the circumstances. We would definitely book again.

Excellent experience

The location and easy of communication made the experience great. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the ease to get around the city, although some of the hills were tough after a day walking around. The only issue was the bathroom sink where the faucet was not fully attached. Still worked but wanted to mention.
