Over all a really nice stay! Probably the most beachy place we’ve stayed! Love how close it was to the beach and that the beaches were not crowded!!! Not the crazy traffic and people that the places closer to the resturaunts and tourist attractions!!!!

The property, view and access to the beach was amazing. While it may be a little dated that just enhances the whole beachy vibe. We had a small wedding ceremony on the very spacious deck with the gulf and beach as the background and it was perfect. The dolphins entertained us in the mornings as we enjoyed our coffee on the deck. The house has an open floor plan that accommodates all four bedrooms (very comfortable beds) of guests without feeling crowded. It's conveniently located to stores, shops and restaurants but far enough away your away from the large crowded beach. The house was well stocked and clean. I highly recommend it!

Location Makes This A Great Place To Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time to stay at Rolf’s Retreat! Quaint and cozy! Everything worked that we used. There have been some upgrades. We reported that both shower faucets drip throughout the day and night. On the beach (sand path to the beach). The location is away from the crowds! Sunsets are beautiful. Great back porch/deck that needs some TLC. Already looking forward to next year!Guests in the second king bedroom requests that a ceiling fan be installed!

Awesome Experience

Nice but Dated

Location is perfect, nice short walk over the dune to the beach, near part of the house is the deck.

Nice place to spend a beach week.

Absolutely wonderful beautiful place!

Beds were comfortable the deck was very nice! Even in the rain the covered part of the deck gave us a beautiful place to sit with family and have fun! Just a short steps to the beach! Was absolutely amazing stay!

Family stay

Great place and property was great. Quiet area easy access to beach and other amenities. Spacious rooms and kitchen was great. Would recommend to other families or large groups.

The house was perfect. You can walk out and you are practically on the beach.

This property is wonderful if you love privacy and being right on the beach! At night we enjoyed the spacious deck.

Wonderful stay

Sweet beach house in a very private area of the gulf. Enjoyed the large outdoor deck in the shade with the ocean view. Would love to return and enjoy the beauty of the home and the gulf.

A vacation favorite!

Relaxing and fun weekend

The property was wonderful and just steps away from the beach. We loved walking out the master bedroom onto the deck and drinking coffee while we watched dolphins play in the water at sunrise. Clean and well stocked with kitchen tools we enjoyed our stay!

Rolfs Retreat

Loved the location. The beach house was lovely. The bathrooms could use a little upgrading. The beach was wonderful.

Location was great including beach access, listing was accurate, house was clean. Important to note: driveway and main entrance to the property is extremely dark; must bring ALL your own essentials (salt & pepper, coffee filters, etc - there is nothing); many minor inconveniences (have to hold the washing machine open with one hand one while loading).

Wonderful Spot

We came here with family for a 60th birthday party and it was perfect. The house is rustic but clean and cozy and neat. It had everything we needed and we were extremely comfortable. The outdoor space was to die for. I highly recommend this spot. We will be back.

Right on the beach!

House was great! Kitchen was well appointed as we had everything we needed. Wonderful deck to hang out and watch the sunset and waves roll in. Short and easy walk to beach.
