Whether it's a romantic getaway or a family vacation, you'll love your stay at this newly renovated lakefront cottage on a private 2.4 acre lot. You will enjoy your unobstructed view from the large deck and the brand new dock. Two rooms with queen beds, one bunk room with full size bunk bed and twin trundle (3 beds total in that room). Get all your supplies two miles away at Kroger. Only ten minutes from downtown restaurants and shops. Have your coffee each morning on the dock and watch the sunrise with nearly 200 feet of lake frontage. During the day, swim and fish off the dock. At night, the kids will love roasting hot dogs and s'mores over the fire outside. Enjoy your favorite music with the built-in Bluetooth speakers on the deck and dock.

Perfect for our needs

It is indeed a Cozy Cottage. It does have beautiful water views and was located in a very convenient area. Very clean and attractive interior. It was just what we needed for our stay. The owner was great to work with and very communicative.

Tranquility Bay

What an appropriate name for this adorably quaint lake cottage! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the lake and watching the fish jump and various birds fly over….so peaceful. Thanks so much for helping to make a wonderful weekend even better!!! We look forward to coming back!

Great Lake House

Great Lake House for a family. We rented a boat and enjoyed our 4 days. The owner was very responsive to questions about the lake. We will rent again.

Convenient location

The cottage is as described in listing , very clean, very organized and set up with all the kitchen essentials. The lake views are beautiful. Cottage is close to all shopping (including a brand new Publix nearby) and just a few minutes to Georgia College campus. For us it was a quick stay for orientation day at GCSU and we are definitely coming back.

Peaceful Get Away

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed and we were all very comfortable. A roomy and peaceful porch to sit on. The dock(with Bluetooth speakers and a beautiful open view) was nice to relax on and had great bumpers for our boat. There is a small beach area to walk around on or fish from. My son caught an almost 5lb large mouth bass from it. We all enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.

Everything we needed

Family with kids had a wonderful time! Amenities were great. The large deck setup was particularly nice, with comfortable long table and side seating area. Nice to have fans to enjoy the wonderful view. Easy entry to the lake from the dock to swim, float, and enjoy the view. Lots of wildlife. Super close to Kroger. Would rent again.

Great location!

Private, quiet and clean location directly on the lake, while still close to grocery stores and restaurants. The home has plenty of indoor and outdoor room. This is our favorite place so far to visit our college student.

Perfect Fall Getaway

What a great house for our fall getaway with our two college-age kids! The location is terrific - close to the grocery store, Lake Sinclair Bait and Tackle (highly recommend if you have fishing needs!), and Milledgeville for shopping and dinner out. The best part of this property is the amazing dock! We spent the majority of our time hanging out on it and look out over peaceful Lake Sinclair!

Marvelous Family Holiday!

We had a fantastic stay at Tranquility Bay! The house and property are just as described, David was wonderful to work with, and we loved every minute! We brought our boat, which the dock accommodated very well. On rainy days, we were happy to be so close to town and took short outings. When the weather was fine we enjoyed swimming, feeding the baby ducks, tubing, fishing and boat riding. It's a lovely, quiet branch of the lake. Everything was just perfect! 10 days was not enough and we hope to return soon!

Wedding weekend

We rented this for the weekend while in town for my son’s wedding. The house was perfect for our needs and was so convenient to all the events for the weekend. Would definitely recommend the Tranquil Bay.

Cute and Comfy stay!

Great cottage on Lake Sinclair!

We rented David's cottage on Lake Sinclair for my wife, father, sister, and two nieces to stay during a family reunion at our family's house nearby. David was a great host that communicated well. The house was clean, well-kept, and well equipped with everything we needed. It was easy to find, in a tranquil location, with plenty of parking. The air conditioning kept us northerners cool in the Georgia heat. All the mattresses were comfortable with memory foam. We didn't get to spend much time on the lake, but my nieces did enjoy taking a swim or two. The house is located conveniently to pretty much anything you could need, including grocery stores and restaurants.

Wedding Weekend

This was just what we needed for our wedding weekend with our best friends. Our adult children met us there and we enjoyed the back deck before the wedding and after the wedding. The property was super clean and that means eaverything. Great stay.

Beautiful lake

Had no problem with anything while we were there. It was a quiet and relaxing Stay. We especially enjoyed the house deck and the spacious dock , where we spent most of our time. Good place on lake to stay. Thank you for renting to us. Will try to come again

A lake house with beautiful views!

We enjoyed staying at this farm-house styled lake house very much. It’s a perfect get away that is not too far from Atlanta. You can sit and have a full view of the beautiful Lake Sinclair either on the patio or the newly built boat dock. The house was very clean, beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We had to call David for a minor issue and received a prompt response and the issue was resolved quickly. Great customer service David! We will return to this beautiful lake house for sure.
