Ed and Mitzi's place was perfect for our tour of colleges in the Triangle. It's close to the highway and a Publix supermarket. It had just about everything we needed, and when we asked for something they dropped it off in a gift bag! Great stay -- recommended!

Very comfortable with good sleeping arrangement. Lots of room to stretch out - kitchen, dining room, and two living rooms so adults could work while kids were playing board games or watching TV. Kitchen included all of the cooking utensils we needed with a good variety of spices. Hosts were very responsive when we needed extra dishwasher pods.Location was convenient to Duke campus, UNC campus, and Downtown Raleigh museums - each was about a 20 minute drive. Quiet peaceful neighborhood with easy parking for our two vehicles.

We are Natives of Durham, The Bull City. My husband and I both grew up in Durham and meet at a very young age. This house is special to us because it was our first home. We love the trees in the backyard in the summer time and how cozy the house is at night when you sit outside on a warm spring/summer night. It makes you feel away from the city.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

The spacious inside and out with a wooded backyard, the natural wildlife you may see and the quietness of hearing nature singing. Want to getaway from the city but still be relatively close? This is it!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The house is very close to some well known colleges. Durham, NC is the home of Duke University Champions and North Carolina Central University Champions. But the best known rivalry in America - UNC Chapel Hill is close by and of course our neighboring friends, NC State Champions! Also just 12miles from the house is Duke University Hospital and Duke Regional Hospital. Very close to great shops and restaurants in the Briercreek area.
The house is on dead end road, peaceful neighbors, large front and backyard, ceilings fans in each room even on the front porch. Gas Fire pit and wood burning fire pit.
