Inside was very clean. Kitchen appliances at high end but difficult to use given no instruction booklet. House was well supplied. Decor was basic and a bit disappointing for paying this rate… in addition, we had messaged the host and got no response. View and access to the beach was wonderful.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We’ve shared your feedback about the kitchen appliances with our manager. There is a printed one-page guide in the home with a QR code that leads to the house book, as well as a link in the arrival instructions, but we understand that having appliance instructions more readily available would be helpful. We’re also sorry we weren’t able to accommodate your early check-in request, as our manager and housekeeper need enough time to properly prepare the home. We appreciate your feedback about communication and will work to improve. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again.

Very spacious, well appointed kitchen and great views from all three floors. Would definitely stay again for a small group gathering.

This was the getaway we needed. It was just two of us, but I can see a big family really enjoying the house. It was spotless and well stocked. All guests would have privacy, the beach is RIGHT there, and it’s close to shops and restaurants. For Lopez Island generally: A car is recommended, as well as ferry reservations for your car leaving the mainland (I didn’t make any and we waited for about 3 hours).

Our family and our pet absolutely loved staying here. It was clean and well maintained. The art work on the walls were beautiful. The view of the sea was utterly gorgeous! Definitely a place I would recommend to my friends.

This location was perfect! The view was fabulous. close enough to town so we could bike to town yet quiet and private. The rental company was very responsive to all our questions and very helpful.

Lopez Island

Our stay at this house on Lopez Island was amazing! We loved the private access to the beach. The house had everything we needed and we were even allowed to bring our dog which was a big plus. The island is beautiful and we will definitely be back in the future.

Pro's and Con's

Interior of the house was very nice including the recently upgraded kitchen. Master suite a big plus. The exterior property and long driveway entrance in need of significant attention. The road leading to the house had overhanging trees, shrubs and vegetation. We had to walk the length of the drive and cut away said vegetation to get our vehicles through after it rained as the road became impassable. Finally, in the parking area there are overhanging trees which drop some of the worst pitch you can imagine. Spent several hours spot cleaning up my F-150 with isopropyl alcohol to get it cleaned. Please put some effort in these areas as this property hast the potential be one of the best rentals on Lopez. Beach access is awesome as well.
