Family friendly, ask about pets, quiet rural neighborhood on pristine Norris lake, 15 minutes from I-75 exit 122, view of Sequoyah Marina, access to private dock with covered 28' boat slip. Contact owner for details regarding handicapped/ partial wheelchair access. 3 BR, 2 bath + Outdoor shower, beds for 8 people: 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Trundle beds (= 4 beds), PLUS 2 sleeper sofas: 1 Queen & 1 Single, + 2 Futons. 2 Smart TV's, Central Heat & Air, Gas Stove, Washer & Dryer, Fire Pit, Gas Grill, Commercial Ice Maker, Wine Refrigerator, Coffee Bar/Bar stocked with limited Keurig coffee pods, 8 cup coffee packs, and hot chocolate. Fully furnished kitchen, we also furnish bed linens, kitchen towels, bath towels, toilet paper, bath soap, and laundry soap. We do ask you to bring your own beach towels for use at the lake. Ample Parking, space for boat trailers and ATV’s. Close to hiking trails.

Rear driveway off of Sequoyah Road is best way to load and unload; NO STEPS. Front driveway off of Shore Loop is best for parking vehicles, trailers, etc. That entrance is up some stairs on front deck. Beautiful, quiet week at the lake!
Our lives are very busy with work and kids' sports and activities, so for Thanksgiving, we really wanted a quiet, relaxing week to just spend quality time together. This lake house gave us exactly what we were looking for! We enjoyed fishing, using the "clubhouse" game room, and there was plenty of space in the house for all of us to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The area is beautiful, and the lake is clear and calm. We would definitely return! Thanks Ginger!

This is a story about a country girl and city boy. I was born and raised in Chattanooga and moved to California in the 1980's where I met Steve. He was born in Chicago but raised in Tarzana, CA. As we approached retirement, we discussed moving to TN where I have family. LA was becoming "Hell-A". For us it was either going to be Lake Chickamauga in Chattanooga, or Norris Lake. Norris Lake won because my daughter and son-in law live in the Knoxville area.

In 2009 we purchased our home here but we did not move here full time until 2013. At that time Steve retired from Northrup Grumman and I retired from my profession as a dental hygienist. Steve, being a work-a-holic now works in facility maintenance for the University of TN. I am happy to be the full time Queen domestic engineer.

The home in which we live is 2 doors away from Lake Lovers Oasis. We are "hands-on" property managers.

This property is minutes from I-75, exit #122. Great area for recreation all year long. Other than the obvious lake activities available from March 1st - October 1st (ish), this area boasts hiking and biking trails, access to State Parks and other attractions. UT fans are 30 minutes from Neyland Stadium for those VOL home games. It is a place for fishermen, hunters, family gatherings, work retreats, and enjoying nature. We believe once you have stayed with us, you will want to come back time and time again.

Being flat makes this property unique. The deck is 100 yards from the lake. Year-round water, covered boat slip. We have several views of Norris Lake, one of which is Sequoyah Marina. The house is completely renovated and we have tried to think like vacationers as we planned renovations. We want our guests to interact with us and make suggestions as to how we can improve it so they will want to come back year after year.

Available 4 seasons with discounts from Fall to Spring. 10% discounts to verified military & veterans; thank you for your service! We will also give multi-week discounts for city folks wanting to distance themselves from city life for a while. The high speed Internet will allow people to work from home if they are lucky enough to have a job allowing them that freedom. We are close to Wal-Mart, gas stations, restaurants, and other amenities. They are just not walking distance like they might be in the city. Vega Café in Norris, "maybe" 10 minutes away, is open Wednesday- Sunday and offers 5-Star meals prepared by Chef John Fletcher.

TJ Fuel is our nearest convenience store for those items you may have forgotten or for 100% gas at a reasonable price. We also have 2- 5 gal. gas containers you are welcome to borrow if you want to run down to TJ's for fuel and avoid paying marina prices. Our commercial ice maker keeps you covered on ice.

For stocking up on groceries, we suggest Archer's Market across the street from Vega Café in Norris, has a bigger selection, a butcher to provide special cuts of meat, and stocks a generous selection of craft beers, wine.

We live two doors away from Lake Lovers Oasis and don't mind you contacting us if you need help with something while you are visiting. 2022 was our first season. So far, all of our guests have given us 5-star reviews; and, we look forward to doing our best to provide our guests with everything they expect for a stellar vacation experience. We welcome suggestions for improvement.
