Not only the house is comfortable but also the Most Convenient. 1 car Attached garage. Perfect for a small family on vacation and business travelers for work. It’s in the corner of Dorsett Rd and McKelvey Rd which is right at highway 270. Many fun attractions are near by such as West port plaza and Worldwide Technology(3 min drive), Creve Coeur lake park (5 min), Hollywood casino and amplify theater (10 min), West County Mall (10 min) Saint Charles (10 min), Science Center (20 min)

Private home right behind highway 270 and Dorsett. Great quiet neighborhood and lovely scenery!
Guest access
Whole house except storage room in basement. It will be locked at all times.
Other things to note
Absolutely no party is allowed and NO SMOKING in the house. We will charge a penalty for not following these rules.

Thanksgiving Weekend

The home was very cozy and felt like a home away from home. We had family that lived near the area and informed us of trash pick up on Friday so we made sure the trash was picked up as to not have the trash can over flowing. My wife and kids enjoyed our short stay there and we would definitely book again at this property. The host was very receptive and sent warm wishes on Thanksgiving Day. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

Perfect Vacation stay

This property was great for our stay. More instructions on what we needed to done upon leaving the property (stripping beds, used towels, etc.) would have been helpful as each host is different. Otherwise, a great place easily located to many restaurants and interstate. Highly recommend!

Nice home and easy stay!

Overall good experience, I give the listing 5 stars. We were visiting for a tattoo convention and would often wake early, however I know if we hadn't I'm sure the landscaper that came over the weekend would've woke us. Might consider having them work during the week when not being rented or in the afternoons when it is rented. Only things that were bothersome was damaged fencing so we couldn't let small dog that was with us out without being monitored. The city does not have sound barriers so any time spent outside in the back yard is drowned out by the sounds of cars from the highway, but it's not noticeable inside the home thankfully. In the evenings the residents park on both sides of a narrow road so be mindful of that. No real complaints and would likely stay again in the future!

Good location for the weekend getaway

It was clean and in a good location to get to the interstate to take you to what locations you wanted to go to. If you plan on using the kitchen you may won't to bring a few items, like hot pads and dish clothes.

Nice old house

The house was clean and spacious and comfortable and well equiped. The backyward was somewhat noisy due to the highway but if being outside isn't your thing, then no issue.

Could be more plates and bowls. Could use a dresser or luggage rack in bedrooms. No place to put things. And more hangers.

Excellent Stay

We stayed 2 nights, and everything was as listed online. It would be helpful to note that all bedrooms are on the main level. The house was very nice and was well cared for. There is a finished portion of the basement downstairs that was a neat, unexpected perk. Jenny was an excellent host and responded quickly. We hope to stay again. Thanks.

StLou visit

Property was clean and conviently located for our purposes. However, lack of drawers and hangers to unpack. Or, if not unpacking, need places to set suitcases (tabletops, tray tables, etc.). Also, broken lamp next to master bed, and many lamps with no bulbs.

Great little home near the highway

This little home was great for our stay in St. Louis. Close to grocery store and easy to get to from a main highway through the city. looked like a great neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and all the features were great. The only draw back is due to the fact that you are so close to the highway. The road noise is quite loud in the back yard as well as the back bedroom. Everything else was great!

Not comfortable

With this stay being our first Vrbo experience we were very disappointed. We opened the drawers to find dirty utensils. None of the doors in this house are going to keep you safe. If you deadbolt the door they don’t full latch, if you do latch them then you can’t deadbolt them. We slept with the bedroom doors locked feeling very uncomfortable. When we arrived we actually found 2 doors that were never locked and the sliding door cracked open. Lots of upgrades needed for safety in this house.

Suited our purpose

This house suited our purpose just fine. We didn't spend a lot of time there because we were there for a function. Jenny was spectacular to deal with however!

House was evrthing we were looking for. Noise from 270 right behind the fence in the back yard is somewhat annoying but becomes less if an issue as you get settled

Cute house, cozy neighborhood with ease of getting around town to grocery shop. Close to highway which made visiting family & friends easy. It was a great stay & would rent again if in the area.

Another great stay!

Aggravating shortcomings

Front storm door latch broken, towel bar, master bathroom fell off wall, kitchen chairs bad need of repair, Roku in master bedroom not functional. fence in backyard a shambles. stove, hot burner light always on. no dressers for placement of things.

Ideal for family gathering or business travelers

Clean, pleasantly decorated and comfortable house with a large backyard and enclosed garage. The furniture is good quality, and everything guests need is provided. Adult siblings and spouses in our fifties and sixties gathered to spend time together, cook and watch movies and football game. The neighborhood was good for walking, the driveway spacious for 2-3 cars, and we were so close to the airport, groceries, gas stations, drug store —everything we needed. It made for the perfect family gathering; and it crossed my mind several times how easy and comfortable the home would be for business travelers. Loved it and intend to return.
