Centrally located affordable weekend choice

We had 4 adults and two children (across 2 families) and found the property to be well-suited to our needs. We would have benefitted from more seating in the living room, but we moved chairs from other parts of the home to make due. The home has clearly had a budget-friendly remodel (we recognized several furniture pieces from IKEA, for example). That worked just fine for our needs and I would stay there again.

Great for families with dogs but you need to walk outside of the house to get to the fenced yard

The interior of the house looks exactly like the pictures and is in a great location walkable to many restaurants. Our family felt very safe in the neighborhood and saw many other families with pets walking in the area. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The bedrooms had ample closet space and the luggage racks were a nice touch. My husband and kids were throughly entertained with the arcade machine. Heads up for dog owners to be aware that the fenced in yard does not have an entrance from the house. Don't expect to open a door to let the dog out. If you step out the side door, head down a few steps, then a few more paces to the right the entrance to the gate is there. Not a big deal for us since we are used to keeping our dog on a leash when taking her out at home. Just something to be aware of since it's hard to tell from the pictures. It is a nice tall fence without any gaps in a good size yard for dogs and kids to run around.

Vrbo not cleaned upon arrival.

We arrived 2 hours after check-in time to find all the beds and bathrooms still dirty from the previous occupants. Had to get a hotel room at the last minute because our baby needed to go to bed after traveling.

Wonderful neighbor, close to STL Zoo

House was well maintained and very clean. Neighborhood was great, with lots of restaurant options close by. It was less than a 10 minute drive to the zoo, which was the purpose for our visit. I cannot stress how wonderful it was to be so close after a full day taking our toddlers around to see the animals. Communication from the owners was easy and we were always well informed about check in/check out before that time was upon us. I would highly recommend staying here and will be checking back for our next trip to STL.

Lovely House in Great neighborhood

Rented this house for weekend to visit our son at college. The house is in great location, about 5 minutes from Wash U. The Tamm avenue neighborhood, is so great, several nice bars and restaurants within 2 blocks. The house is on a quiet street, with little traffic, like the off street with option of garage parking. The lay out was great for us, very clean, the beds and bedding very comfortable. If you feel like cooking there are plenty of pots, pans, kitchen utensils available. The air conditioning worked great. I would definitely recommend this house for your next visit. Plan to stay here again. Thanks so much for the hospitality and use of your house.

Best Getaway Spot!

We had an incredible stay. The home was immaculate and adorable. It made our stay so easy to come and go as it is located closely to attractions and there are so many places within walking distance with excellent food. The neighborhood is incredibly welcoming and had much to offer. I cannot say enough and would recommend this property and hosts!!

Family Trip

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was very nice and close to all of the activities we had planned. The general neighborhood was a little run down but very safe. My only suggestion for an improved experience would be replacement of the towels. They were small and paper thin. Other than that it was a great visit with comfortable accommodations.

Good Experience

Everything was good. The location was nice and having a large driveway able to accomodate multiple vehicles is a plus. The living area is small and only has one couch, so if you want an area where you can sit more than 3 people to relax and winddown, it may be an issue. It was fine for us though as we didn't need any more space. Bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms were spacious and nice.

Saved the day!

When we arrived at the property, the air conditioning wasn't working properly but the host had someone out super fast and the whole thing was handled before we got back from dinner! Excellent location. Super clean. Good neighborhood. And the host was super responsive. Would absolutely stay here again.

Baseball getaway

The house was great for my dad, brother and I. We took a weekend baseball trip and the 3 bedrooms worked well. The house is close to some great restaurants and was a 10 minute drive to Busch Stadium. We will definitely stay here when we come back.

Family Spring Break

We had a wonderful time in this clean newly remodeled and upgraded home. It is in a perfect location with easy access to all the downtown attractions as well as walking distance to restaurants. The house was perfect for our family including the backyard for our pets! The neighborhood was very cute with a great Irish vibe and precious historical buildings and homes.

Beautiful home, Highly recommend.

Our family stayed here the weekend of March 8th. The communication was great. We were busy enjoying the Zoo, Union Station and other things in St Louis, the owners let us know every step of the way what was needed and expected on check in and check out. The home was beautiful, clean and very comfortable for our group, 4 adults and a toddler. Location was great for all of our activities, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Highly recommend and would stay here again in the future.

Thanksgiving in Dogtown

Loved this house! Location was perfect for us, property was great and loved off-street parking. Only things that would have made it better were presence of an iron and hair dryer as listed amenities we were expecting (easy fix). Would definitely stay here again.

Dog Town Convenience

House we very clean, comfortable and easy walking to Dog Town restaurants. We had business around Wash U wish was very convenient. Easy, efficient and a few blocks from Starbucks for coffee in the morning!
