Lake Daze Escape- Entire Cabin on Barren River Lake!

Thank you for your stay and for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the seclusion and that communication was helpful. For clarification, the cabin was built in 2014, and our listing photos (taken in 2021) reflect the property accurately, but we will certainly take another look ourselves. We love renting our place and do our best to maintain the Superhost /status we’ve achieved each year, along with the 5-star reviews on both Airbnb and VRBO. The main stairs are maintained and kept clear; at all times, there may be some natural brush near the lake access stairs depending on the season. We’re at the property regularly and are always happy to provide current photos of any area upon request so guests know exactly what to expect. We take pride in providing a great experience, and over the past five years our Airbnb and VRBO guests have consistently rated their stays five stars. We appreciate all feedback as we continue to maintain that standard.

Thank you for your review. I’m glad you otherwise enjoyed your stay. I’m sorry you experienced an issue when turning on the tub jets. The tub is thoroughly cleaned and treated with a commercial disinfectant between every guest stay, and this is the first time a concern like this has been brought to our attention. Because the tub jets are not used by every guest, we will take a closer look at the jets and make sure they are thoroughly flushed and cleaned as part of our turnover process. We appreciate you bringing your concern to our attention.
