Small, comfy, fantastic

Stayed for a couple nights. The fire heater was nice, as were the lodgings. Plenty of space for two, and very comfortable!

Get-away

Nice little cabin to stay. We did not have the experience of waking up to an elk standing by our window as others had posted but the mountain view from the kitchen window was beautiful.

We booked for three nights. The air conditioning wasn’t working, phone number for contact was incorrect, I had to call VERBO to get a working number, there was no person on the property to address the issue, temperature got to 81 degrees never got below 77 degrees overnight even with a window open. Smelled bad and wasn’t very clean.The carpet was terribly stained and the ,coffee table was very worn nothing like the photos on Verbo. we only stayed one night however Matthew did offer another cabin which I declined, and he did everything he could from his location and he did refund my money

Grand Lake Cabin

The cabin was very clean and appeared to have recent updates. The bathroom had what seemed to be a new shower curtain/liner which was a plus. The location was good, Grand Lake village was about a 5 minute drive. The cabin is small but was fine for my family that included: 2 adults, 2 teens and a dog. The one somewhat negative thing was the carpet did have numerous stains. I’m guessing this is probably because it is a pet friendly rental. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues. Grand Lake is very beautiful!

Affordable pet friendly cabin.

This cabin is very affordable and located near Grand Lake village, which we loved spending time in. We appreciated that we could bring our fur babies without having to pay an enormous pet fee. The king size bed was comfortable and the shower had amazing water pressure and hot. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, it was a bit over grown with weeds, but we made it through. We did have some issues when we checked in after 4pm, the cabin wasn’t cleaned from the previous guest unfortunately. The property manager was prompt and refunded my cleaning fee while the onsite person cleaned the cabin. We addressed the maintenance issues and other cleaning concerns with the property manager.

The pictures are not an accurate representation of the cabin. We knew it was rustic, but the pictures made it look clean, which it was not. Obviously the cabin hadn’t been opened for quite awhile, there were spiders and cobwebs in the bathtub/shower. There was also the smell of gas as soon as we opened the door. The carpets were terribly stained and the bathroom floor hadn’t been cleaned. Needless to say, we did not stay there and went back into Winter Park and rented a motel room. We paid to stay for 3 nights, so we cut our stay short in Grand County and came back home because of the condition of the cabin.

Our stay near Grand Lake

Brandon was a good host. House matched its description. Nice for a 5 day stay. It had the essentials we were looking for.
