This Recently Updated unit at Sundestin Beach Resort is located on the 12th floor and is unit number 1216. The unit will sleep 4 people very comfortably. There is one bedroom and one and a half bathrooms. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances. An iron, ironing board, hair dryer, linens, paper products and small toiletries are also provided. The Sundestin provides an indoor pool, outdoor pool and a hot tub. There is a full-service restaurant and bar located in the lobby (delivery can be arranged). Guests can enjoy beach access via boardwalk and also rent beach chairs and umbrellas and gain access to various other water-sports from the beach vendor, all located directly behind the Sundestin.

Sundestin Beach Resort is located in the heart of Destin. Its location allows you easy access to the 2000 feet of pristine white beach and all of the golf, dining and relaxing you can handle. For all you fly-boys...and girls, the Destin Airport (KDTS) is located right across the street from Sundestin. The Sundestin is an extremely inviting and relaxing place to bring your family on that much needed vacation. It is centrally located within the heart of Destin, FL and is within walking distance of everything you might need during your vacation, including department and grocery stores, local souvenir shops and countless restaurants and cafes. Big Kahuna's Waterpark and The Track are both less than 1/2 mile away and are a big hit with the younger crowd.

Great place and location

we've stayed at this same unit multiple times and have never had any issues or problems. The owner is very helpful and quick to respond. Communicates so well and everything in the unit as shown and described. The bed is very comfy and kitchen well stocked. we always choose his place cause it never disappoints.

Great location

Modern, updated appliances and furnishings. Close to restaurants and other activities. Nice little restaurant downstairs by the pool area. Best of all-loved the view from the balcony!

Excellent location, friendly staff, onsite bar, will return when construction is completed, my complaint about Sun Destin is very slow elevator and dryer is very weak.

Nice place good view of the Gulf

overall the condo was nice, recently renovated our only negatives was so bugs under the sink and very little t.p. had to buy some at the gift shop. As mentioned the view of the gulf was nice.

Cannot wait until we stay here again

One of the best places we have rented. Very clean and decorated very nice. It was obviously updated recently and very comfortable. Great view and location along with being quiet. Cannot think of a single thing I would change or view as negative. Great communication with owner.

2 complaints - the floors don’t seem like they’re cleaned, only vacuumed. After being there for 30 minutes & walking around, all of our feet were black. Floors felt grimey.2nd complaint- welcome info said we would receive a “full set of towels” for the week & then after that we would have to do laundry ourselves. Which was fine, but we only received 2 towels and 1 washcloth… for the week, for a family of 4. I don’t consider that a full set- full set would at least be 4 towels and 2 washcloths, anywhere else we have ever stayed. Everything else was okay. Nice views. Easy beach and pool access.

Excellent!!

Loved staying in this condo. Updated and clean. It has everything you need for the kitchen, a very comfortable bed in the bedroom (sofa bed not so much). The balcony has a beautiful side view of the beach, which also, enabled us to watch a firework show from the harbor. Very friendly staff at the front desk and check-in was super easy!! Definitely recommend.

Condo location was excellent! Had everything we needed for our trip to be comfortable 😊 plenty of space for two adults and two kids. Loved walking out to beach everyday and using pools and outdoor hot tub! The only negatives about our space were; cleaning products used had a very strong odor and left the tile floor sticky, the shower head needs to be updated (super narrow stream that feels like needles on the skin), and some of the furniture needs maintenance like fixing of drawers and shelves. The building itself is undergoing some renovations to the common spaces to update decor, but didn’t take away from our stay. Really enjoyed our time in Destin 😊

sundestin review

This is not a place for retired couples or for a stay over a week. The property has no smoking signs posted on the door of each condo regarding no smoking in the rooms and on balconies which is not enforced. Pot smell was very evident in the elevators and on the balcony. It was difficult to contact someone at the desk at night for any reason.

Awesome!!

This condo is luxurious and comfy!! The bed is so comfortable and the condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. Even coffee!! The furniture is also very comfortable and the view is spectacular!! We felt at home the moment we walked through the door. The Sun Destin is so close to everything and we loved we could walk across the street to Waffle House for breakfast. Parking was easy every time we returned and was nice that the elevators are right at the entrance of the resort and the condo is a few doors down from the elevator at our floor. Very convenient! The Sun Destin has a great outdoor pool and wonderful heated indoor pool and the beach is large unlike some other sliver of beaches at places we've previously stayed. Jason answered my question via text right back so he is readily available. I highly recommend his condo and will be staying again!!

Beautiful Sunset Right on the Beach

Certainly! Based on the details yI recently had the pleasure of staying at a property that truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a breathtaking view that promised—and delivered—spectacular sunsets every evening. It's one thing to admire a sunset in pictures, but experiencing it in the comfort of what felt like a luxury apartment was an entirely different and unforgettable experience. The apartment came furnished with everything one could possibly need, making it immediately feel like a home away from home. From a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishes, utensils, and all the necessary appliances, to the cozy touches like plush covers and soft towels, every detail was thoughtfully curated to ensure a comfortable stay. It was evident that the hosts put a lot of effort into making sure their guests have a seamless and luxurious experience. Living in this apartment, even for a short while, felt like a dream. The combination of the stunning views, the comprehensive amenities, and the overall ambiance of luxury and comfort made my stay an absolute delight. Beautiful unit with a great view. Beach is clean and pristine white. Close to groceries, restaurants and shopping. Building is currently going through a big renovation and the resort is like new on the completed areas. Very well decorated and stocked for cooking. We had a wonderful stay!

Had an amazing family vacation and was very pleased with overall experience. The only downfall is that there is a lot of construction on the resort. The washer and dryer is finicky on floor 12 and had to go to floor 11 for laundry.

Could’ve been better but nice location and beautiful views!

The location was great and had beautiful views! As for the condo it can use some updates the couch is wore out sunk in the middle the vents in the ceiling in the kitten and both bathrooms have black mold all around them. As for the beach area we weren’t told you can not have your own umbrella you have to rent them or not use them the company that rents out chairs and umbrellas take up all the space of the two front rows of the beach everyday and you only have a small space to get to the water never seen so many chairs and umbrellas put out on the beach almost forcing you to rent theirs to have assess to the ocean. The biggest problem was parking at the resort if you didn’t get a spot early afternoon you couldn’t park in the resort you were given a tag and you had to park down the street and cross 4 lanes of heavy traffic to get over to the resort. And when they say you can’t check-in until 4 they are serious we got there at 3:30 filled out all the paper work and were given our parking pass but were we have to come back at 4 to get our cards to get into the room they will not let you get into your room before 4! They were also working on the on area we were staying had to listen to drilling and pounding for hours everyday during the week days couldn’t hear the TV and forget taking a nap so this definitely wasn’t our best vacation somethings could have been a lot better especially the money we pad. We liked Destin but definitely will not stay at this resort again!
