What an incredible week! The Spotted Grouper is a charming, perfect beach bungalow. In spite of a rocky start to our trip (can you say "hurricane"?) Sheree did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The house was clean, the kitchen is well-equipped, there are plenty of towels, there's even an outdoor shower! All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything better. And we're already making plans for a return visit in the spring! Thanks for everything, Sheree!

We love the Spotted Grouper! We have returned for several years. The cottage is cozy with so many amenities—washer/dryer, beach wagon, great supply of towels. Booking is so easy and Sheree is a marvelous host.

I loved how secluded we were from the towns and how quiet the neighborhood was. The location of this rental was in a very beautiful spot. We caught a lot of fish right off of the beach and we went swimming at a couple other public beaches located within 6 miles of the house. We ate the best barbecue at Hamaknockers, about 30 minutes from the rental. Highly recommend this rental if you’re looking for laid back, cozy and quiet. Note this is on a wild life refuge, so expect to see wild life.

Communication with Sheree was excellent. Home was spacious and there were items that you could borrow while staying. Just a small walk to the beach.

If you are looking for a great place to relax and fish without all the hustle and bustle, this is your spot. The house is neat and the kitchen is well stocked. The walk to the beach is easy.

Loved the cottage. Only drawback is the seclusion. I’m sure in the busy season things are livelier. But we were looking for quiet and that’s what we got!

Relaxing getaway

Amazing! I was looking for something less touristy and right on the beach. This cute cottage met all of our expectations! Sunrise and sunset were my absolute favorites!!

Cleanest Beach Bungalow in Florida!

This may have been the cleanest property we have ever stayed in!! We loved the old Florida charm of the home with a great view of the gulf! Within walking distance to the small beach!

Grandbabies beach trips.

First trip for the grandbabies. The beach was close and no one else was on the beach except us. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Owner responded quickly with any questions i had. Very nice stay.

Paradise

This was our second trip to The Spotted Grouper and we booked for next year while we were still there. This cottage has all you need in amenities and is just steps from a quiet secluded beach. It will always be my first choice.

Perfect Hideaway

If you are looking for a secluded and quiet environment but with the charm of old Florida, this is your place. All the amenities you want are on site and it’s a close enough drive to other interests and activities. We loved it.
