House was everything it was advertised as. We had a great weekend, house was very clean and spacious. Very smooth check in process, owners got right back to me with any concern and addressed immediately. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect reunion spot

We gathered here with a group of friends for a college reunion. It was the perfect location and had enough space for everyone! I was really impressed with the laundry area or storage room with an additional fridge which helped us stay organized with all our group meals. The kitchen is well stocked with a lot of appliances and serving dishes. We all loved the hot tub and access to the water, although beware that getting down to the dock is a hike. Overall, we loved our stay and are already planning to return soon.

Family vacation

We had a really nice time on our family vacation. House was spacious and great location. The inside of the house was clean, but the outside decks were a mess. Mouthing but spiders and spiderwebs car cleaned them. The house was on a high elevation bye steps down to the lake were not in good shape.

Family Getaway

The house was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the deck and the fire pit on the lower level. The steps to the water need help though. They are stone pavers and several of them are loose and it makes it a tricky walk down for all ages. (The front steps also had some loose stones.). We rented a boat and enjoyed the beautiful lake which is quite large. It was a great family trip.

Big Home set back from Attractions

The home is beautiful. A big, mountain home which sits lake front. However, there are no widow treatments in the majority of the home, this includes the master suites. So, on the sunny days we had (even in December) the house was very hot, and then in the evenings if anyone would be on the deck (whole other issue) you would not be able to dress in the front half of the rooms. We couldn't use the decks or the main staircase leading to the front door because the rental company did not clear out ANY of the ice. There was almost 4 inches of thick ice on stone stairs making it dangerous to use the front entry. We wouldn't have been able to get into the house either, because the supplied entry code (by the rental company) was inaccurate. The owners dedicate a code which is sent via email/3rd party which I found a day and a half later in my spam. Thankfully, the cleaning ladies (who were stuck in the driveway and we had to push out because of all of the aforementioned ice) left the upper door unlocked so we just used that door the entire time. Lastly, the people who stayed in the house before us clearly smoked (all sorts of herbs) in the laundry/mud room (which we playfully referred to as the Weed Room) but stunk up that whole side of the house. The home is beautiful and roomy, we did enjoy it, but it was about 15 minutes from everything Deep Creek has to offer in the winter, so it was a bit off the beaten path for the winter activities we participated in while visiting.

Great Stay

My friends and I had a great stay. The house was very clean upon our arrival. The check in process was super easy. The house was very spacious and accommodating for a large group.

We needed more time!

We absolutely loved this house. It felt like a home with everything you may need. Enough bedrooms and beds with plenty of space to not feel cramped (11 adults and 3 children). We are already looking for dates to stay here next year. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay.
