Originally built in 1949, this beach cottage has been totally renovated and updated in 2021. This bungalow features a completely separate bedroom ands has a full kitchen and dining living area. There is also an outdoor private patio area with a charcoal grill. Walk to the beach in seconds and the Siesta Village is only .4 miles from this cottage. Here there are restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The perfect place to stay and take advantage of everything Sarasota and Florida has to offer.

Perfect beach get away

Very cute cottage. Perfect for a couple's beach trip. We had a short stay here this summer and loved it so much that we had to come back for a longer stay. The location is ideal. Easy walk to the beach and the village. Everything we needed was provided

Perfect location!

What a great, relaxing stay we had. Perfect location, adorable cottage feel, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were responsive, take great care of their home, and we loved it. We hope to return next year. Walks to the beach, to grab coffee, dinner…such a perfect stay!

Cute little beach cottage!

This cottage was the perfect weekend getaway in the village of Siesta. Short walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants and shops you need for your stay! 10/10 recommend booking here :)

Perfect location and host

The property is exactly as described. This host is extremely quick to respond and could give lessons on how to set up a VRBO destination. They thought of everything. There were even fresh flowers <3. The location is fantastic. We easily walked to the beach and to the village. We will definitely be back.

Vacation

The owners were very accommodating, understanding and kind. I mentioned I was celebrating my birthday and they left me a balloon and flowers! The location was great you can walk to the village and to the beach. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect location & amazing hospitality!

We had such a great time in Siesta Key and could not have picked a better cottage to stay in!! The location was perfect, less than a 5 minute walk from the beach and 15 minute walk from the village. The cottage itself was very cute and clean! The beach chairs and umbrella were life savers. And having an outdoor shower to wash the sand off after the beach was a huge plus! Lastly, I mentioned in the booking it was my birthday and there were flowers & a balloon when we arrived. Thank you so much again and hope to be back soon!

Siesta Key bungalow

We really enjoyed our little bungalow. The cottage is walking distance to the beach and town but far enough away from the hubbub to be quiet and private. Of course the beautiful weather always helps make one’s vacation more enjoyable.

Excellent location and charming!

This cottage had the perfect location to go to the beach. It was clean and updated. It also had beach chairs, which was very convenient. We would definitely stay again.

Summer vacation go to -

After staying here last year for the first time, not only did we fall in love with siesta key village but we loved our stay at Gary’s rental and decided to come back again this summer. Once again, nothing but amazing things to say! This little bungalow is perfect for my fiancé and I and this is now our go to spot for vacation! We will definitely plan to be staying here the next time we visit! Thanks for having us again!

First visit to Siesta Key

The property is perfect for a couple. It has all the amenities you would need. Everything is within walking distance of the property (beach and the village area). The beach access is pretty private and we absolutely loved our stay in Siesta Key having never been there before. Gary and Stacey were very helpful and answered all of our questions right away. Highly recommend this property. 10/10!!

Perfect birthday getaway for my 12 year old

My daughter was thrilled with the entire stay & had a wonderful birthday getaway! . We enjoyed walking to the beach every day going back for sunset. Very relaxed environment. The village was a little bit of a walk, but we took the trolley home. The cottage itself was absolutely perfect for the two of us couple minor things I shared with the owners, but they responded very quickly. Already trying to find another week to go back and spend more time. One of the best beaches I’ve ever been on.

NICE place! GREAT location! …needs better beds

Nicely updated and very clean. Can’t beat the location at this price. Only about a block from Beach Access 10, which seems to be a quieter section of beach. At least it is in late April. It’s also only about a half mile, ~10 minute walk, to Siesta Village for dinner and shopping. Can’t explain it, but that little walk did “feel” like a lot. Maybe I was hungry, lol. Only drawback was the bed and sleeping comfort. The bed and pillows were super uncomfortable. Lumpy old unsupportive mattress, lump and hard or flat pillows, didn’t sleep well and woke up very stiff and in pain. The bedding itself looked nice and clean, though a little thin/light. Would’ve liked additional blankets, but I never actually looked for any, so that’s on me. There is no TV in the bedroom either and that was a huge disappointment. Maybe I missed that info in the listing. We really like to lay in bed and watch TV. The only TV is in the living room and we never even turned it on. The bedroom AC vent blows directly in your face, a drawback for me, but some people like cool air blowing on them at night. The bath has nice updates, very nice looking, and very clean. The shower is pretty snug and dark. Could use a brighter light. More important, it’s clean and has clean linens. All in all, I would stay again IF the bed and pillows were updated. Still, with the location and reasonable prices, I might bring my own pillows and air mattress.

Lovely Little Cottage

Anything you could want in a cute little one-bedroom cottage. Walking distance to the beach; with beach chairs, beach towels and a little cart provided! The cottage was very comfortable, especially the king bed! We haven’t slept this well in a long time! The kitchen has everything you would want or need for either a full meal or a quick one before heading out. The bathroom has been redone beautifully. The walk-in shower and great water pressure were very enjoyable. There’s even an outdoor shower to wash off the beach sand. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. They had great patience with my many questions before we arrived. Communications back and forth with them was nothing but friendly and helpful. Response to questions was nearly immediate or no more than first thing the next day. They also gave us some suggestions for wonderful places to eat locally! Thank you, Gary & Stacey, for a wonderful place to stay on our anniversary trip!

Winter vaca!

Very cute, clean house! Great location! Wonderful neighborhood! It was perfect for my husband and I! Great neighbors! No issues whatsoever! Def will stay again!
