Welcome to “GEM” at Barefoot Bungalows, located in the heart of Siesta Key. What truly sets this property apart is the location — you’re just steps from Beach Access #2 and #3 and only two blocks from Siesta Key Village. Guests can walk everywhere — beach, dining, nightlife — *no car needed*

This is a second-floor, 2-bedroom, 1-bath villa occupying the entire upper level of this classic 1945 triplex. It offers that “Old Florida” beach cottage charm that’s increasingly rare on the island, especially at this price point. Stairs less to 2. nd floor

Super clean and comfortable two bedrom/one bath so close to the beach and Siesta Key Village for dining and live music. Walking to the nearby grocery store was very convenient. Responsive host made the stay enjoyable. We had a great time!

Amazing location! Perfect location for my little family with our toddler. Walk to the beach and walk to town- close to everything. Lisa provided us with beach necessities like a wagon and towels and also a pack and play for our little one. It was so great. Can’t wait to come back

This spot is an absolute gem in terms of location. Steps from the beach and a quick walk to shops and dining. The access to beach chairs, towels, wagon, and cooler made beach time a success. Lisa communicated promptly and was incredibly easy to work with. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Definitely a Hidden Gem. The location is absolutely perfect from breakfast time to beach time to dinner time. Great communication as well as items to the beach. So glad we booked here for a little girls trip!

This is our 4th time staying in GEM. It is the ideal spot with walking proximity to the beach and the village. So many places are large for several people and this is always great for our family of 3. Lisa is an amazing communicator and responds extremely quick with any questions or needs. Location has onsite laundry available (just bring your own detergent) which is great for doing laundry part way through the trip. Highly recommend!

Proximity to the beach (1-2 mins walk), to shops, restaurants & bars in the village (5 mins walk), and the thoughtful amenities provided by the host to enjoy a beach vacation (cart, beach chairs, towels) made this the perfect place for my family and I. Would love to return!

Clean place. Host was great and made check-in very easy. Love the fresh flowers (nice touch). Super convenient to the beach. Nice to have parking on site. Loaded with beach gear to use- Loved this (wagon, chairs, coolers, towels etc.). Bathroom door- needs help severely! Great spot!! Shared Laundry downstairs is super sketchy (nice to have) but super dangerous- my friend cut her back on some rusty electrical stuff upon entering.

The fresh flowers are one of our favorite touches too! We also appreciate you bringing the bathroom door issue to our attention, and we’ll make sure that gets addressed right away. Regarding the shared laundry area, we’re sorry to hear about your friend’s experience. The laundry space is an outdoor covered patio area with newer machines that is primarily used by our housekeeping team, though guests are welcome to use it as well. We have not previously had any reports of safety concerns, but we will absolutely inspect the area carefully. Thank you again for staying with us and for the valuable feedback!

This was a great little place for my daughters and I to stay over spring break.It was comfortable, very clean. Host was responsive and was flexible about check in and check out time. The real standout feature about this place is the location. One short block to the beach access and a few minutes to walk into town where all of the restaurants and shops are. There were lots of spring breakers while we were there and even on some of the rowdier nights, we heard very little noise from inside this tucked away unit and never enough to interfere with sleep.We definitely recommend!
