Hosted by an experienced host, this modernized suite in a 120 plus year old historical building offers 3 bedroom/2 bathrooms retreat with a beautifully landscaped private garden. The 1400 sq ft (130 sq. m) suite has been remodeled with black Mahagony hardwood flooring and quartz counter tops and provides a quiet refuge in the hidden waterfront City of Point Richmond.
Over half a dozen restaurants, two grocery stores, multiple coffee shops are within one or two short blocks. Short access to bike trails, Marin County, Keller Beach, hiking trails with panoramic view of the Bay Area, bird watching, and secluded shorelines, and a lot more.
Take the Ferry to San Francisco's Ferry building: 2 miles away. Or walk to the historic Richmond Plunge for a swim.
The private backyard and terrace are the perfect retreat for you and your family where you can barbecue or just relax under the canvass shade.

We enjoyed our stay in Point Richmond. It’s a sweet neighborhood with lots of walkable cafes and shops and of course the amazing Richmond Plunge. Hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. The rental had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Great location and safe. It is centrally located to where we wanted to go and for relatives to visit. The house is beautiful, spacious and cozy for 5 people. We really enjoyed the house. It has everything we need to cook light meal. The host is responsive and accommodating.

Great area Nice quiet neighborhood. Walkable to a cute downtown. Sunset at Keller Beach shouldn’t be missed. Easy scenic drive to Muir Beach and Muir Woods. 30 minute drive to SF. Stairs to entry are no joke, but worth it

property was very nice once inside. Only parking was on the busy street and the steps were a problem for elderly family members. Was pet friendly and everything else was good. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The property was in a quiet area and close to the freeway for travel anywhere. The beds were a little older so when you moved your partner felt it. But they were actually comfortable. Just the moving around part like any bed. There’s no AC in SF which was crazy coming from AZ. But opening up the windows was plenty cold for us. You’ll be pleased with this home. Thank you.

Beautiful- retreat is accurate. A nice quiet small town feeling, with an easy commute to all attractions. House is well maintained and cared for. Absolutely book this one.

Surprising, hidden gem in the midst of what initially looks like an industrial area. Once you get into the neighborhood, it's quite a find with local shops and eateries i walking distance.The entry steps to the front door are no joke so take it easy with heavy suitcases.

I had an amazing stay at this charming rental in Point Richmond! The location was perfect—tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood with easy access to local shops, waterfront views, and great hiking trails. The space itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. I especially appreciated the attention to detail—from cozy linens to a well-equipped kitchen. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, making check-in a breeze and ensuring I had everything I needed. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Home with a great location

Point Oasis was exactly as described, the outdoor Garden/Patio is absolutely gorgeous. The owner was quick to reply to any questions I had and provided us with lots of info that helped make our stay even better. Point Oasis is also located between San Francisco and Nappa Valley which makes it an ideal location if you're looking to visit both areas, either one is no more than 40 to 45 minutes away. if you're looking for a charming, very clean, and well stocked kitchen with a beautiful patio to relax on Point Oasis is your place.

Character home

Top two floors of a three storey character house 40 minute drive to San Francisco. Beautiful updates and lots of space. Centre of Point Richmond is charming but surrounded by industrial factories. There is a small beach nearby and also you can take a 35 minute ferry into the Embarcadero.

Restful Oasis

I needed a place for my brother to recooperate after a stem cell transplant at UCSF. He needed to stay in the SF area. Fassil’s 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 floor home was better than I imagined!This property was wonderful, beautiful, clean, spacious. Beautiful private patio area table off kitchen, 2 large , updated bathrooms, large kitchen and dining room. I can’t say enough good things! I also enjoyed Point Richmond and the quaint town steps away and the nearby park with trails and small beach. It was perfect for our needs in every way. Fassil was wonderful too and even hung Sun blocking curtains in one room so my brother could sleep better! Wish I was there now!

Cleaning people did not communicated to the owner/manager of the house few things are empty or missing in the house (hand soap, soap, coffee etc,) but once he found out he delivered them to the house which we appreciated very much.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was easy to find, and less than 10 mins from the Richmond ferry to San Francisco. It is also less than an hour to Muir Woods and the Golden Gate overlooks. There are a couple small markets less than 2 blocks away for grocery needs. Very convenient location!Parking is on the street, but I never had to try my parallel parking skills in tight spaces thankfully. There are stairs up to the rental (occupying the 2nd and 3rd floors), and stairs inside for 2 of the bedrooms, but the primary bedroom is on the main floor of the rental. Nice big dining room table, nice sized kitchen with gas stove (I miss gas cooking!), and comfy living area. There is no A/C, but it really wasn't needed (mid June). There are fans provided for each bedroom - just crack the windows and it's very comfy. The owners are very responsive. VRBO had a glitch that prevented timely messaging, so the owners provided a phone number for communication during the glitch. If you're looking for a good base to explore San Francisco and north of GG, this place is a great pick for a great rate!
