Cozy home that Sleeps 6+. Yard with accessibility to park trailers. Access to snowmobile trails, fishing, bear hunting, downtown shopping and nearby restaurants. Nice getaway for every season! House was built in 1910 and is not handicapped friendly.

Only 2 blocks from trail system!

Great Central Location

We really enjoyed our stay. This cute home was a perfect central location for all our daily outings! Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Was a great place … snow was a little poor rough getting in out of town

Great stay good location if snow is good … smoker lounge was CATS ass… that’s hard to find now days … we left our mark for U lol

This was our second stay at this home and it was as good as the first. It’s a great location for snowmobiling and always very clean. We’d stay again if heading to that area.

Nice convenient spot to hit a lot of the UP

We stayed for 4 nights along with our dogs. We really appreciate places that are dog friendly as we love to take them hiking. The Sled Shed looks small from the front but actually has a nice layout inside. The kitchen had everything we needed and the furniture was very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. It was an easy drive to Tahquamenon, Whitefish Point, Seney and Pictured Rocks (Munising and east). Highly recommend- we had a great time.

Great snowmobile location

Our family of 4 stayed at this house for a short getaway to ride the trails around Newberry. The location has easy access to the trails by sled, as well as a gas station. Being in town, restaurants and grocery stores are nearby and available. The way the driveway is situated makes it easy to pull your trailer in for loading and unloading your equipment. The house was cozy and there was a nice mud room off the back for all your gear. The host was responsive and accommodating. We would stay here again!

This was a great base from which to see many of the UP's sights--we went to Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, and the Soo Locks all from this central location. The area is a nice little neighborhood, close to the grocery store and a school playground, which my 8-year-old loved. Everything went smoothly, and the place was very clean and comfortable. One note: In the summer, it gets light very early in the morning, and the window coverings are not entirely room darkening.

UP Trip

My sister and I had a fabulous time in the UP! She has been up there many times camping I however, had never been. The house was great! So cute and cozy, centrally located, and had everything you could need for a great stay.

Winter getaway

The Sled Shed was fantastic yet again. This was our third year staying here during the winter. The drive is a pull through, and even with 2 trucks and 2 large snowmobile trailers there was plenty of room. The house was in excellent condition again and there were no issues. The owners are fantastic!!

Cute house in Newberry

We arrived during a big snowstorm, the house was cozy and inviting after coming in from the weather. The location was perfect for accessing snowmobile trails, restaurants and a grocery store. The house itself was equipped with everything you need. The pictures accurately represent the house. We would definitely stay here again.
