Villas Azul is the only accommodation in the area that offers both direct walk-to beach access and stunning panoramic ocean views from every room. A conscious blend of relaxed luxury getaway and inspiring adventure in a tropical paradise.

Just steps away from your accommodation, there is beautiful swimming pool area with a palapa that has a full kitchen, BBQ and bathroom. High Speed Internet is available in both your accommodation and the palapa.

The space:

Newly built in 2020 and inspired by Balinese architecture, this villa option accommodates comfortably up to 4 guests and is steps away from our swimming pool area.

This villa option includes 1 master bedroom with a queen bed, coffee bar, refrigerator, ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. Next to it, there is a spacious living room with fans, dining room, kitchen, and a full bathroom. In this space there is a sleeping loft for two guests. The villa comes with bed linens, bath and beach towels. You will find breakfast goods in your private kitchen: eggs, bread, granola, local fruits, yogurt, orange juice, milk, coffee and tea.

Enjoy panoramic ocean views from every room of the villa and its terrace, where there is a table and seats.

Just steps away from your accommodation, you will enjoy our 40' (12 meters) swimming pool and the palapa, that has a full kitchen, BBQ and bathroom.

Guest access:

Enjoy a walk to the beach down our walking path through a beautiful rain-forest jungle, where it's common to see howler monkeys, toucans, sloths, hummingbirds, blue morpho butterflies, and capuchin monkeys, to name a few. At the end of your walk you will come to the most magnificent beach.

Enjoy the swimming pool, explore the property, encounter a sanctuary of wildlife, and release the worries of everyday life to rejuvenate your mind and body. We can’t wait to welcome you here.

Fantastic Views. Great beach access. Great pool.

The location is primo. No TV~! We relaxed and enjoyed nature and the beach. It was lovely.

Incredible place

Una vista hermosa con increíble vida silvestre. Como me hubiera gustado quedarme mas tiempo. I went to sleep with the sounds of waves and reptiles, and woke up to waves, howler monkeys and hungry parrots - which was amazing. Here you get to enjoy your coffee while watching the aracaris preen and troops of white-faced capuchins travel through the trees (among so many other things its tough to pick what to look at). The location is very easy to get to and the property has a couple trails down to the ocean. There are signs for the Villas along the road, and when I arrived there was a chain across the drive up with a sign saying only guests were allowed - if you see this, you are in the right place, just park there and walk up. Registration is a few feet away and you will promptly be let in. They have ample parking, easy to navigate and nicely landscaped grounds, and though I never used it they have an inviting pool/cabana area. As someone who loves the sounds of nature and prefers natural breezes over AC, (though isn’t fan of biting insects no matter how much they like me), the only change I would make would be to add screens to the window/doors. I opted to keep the doors open but drew the curtains and that worked surprisingly well. I also had the great room(kitchen/living) next door so I could do anything needing lights early and over there, then walk over to my bug free bedroom when I was ready to go to sleep. Another tip - I found taking my showers earlier led to a greater amount of hot water and more light to enjoy the wildlife. If you are looking for a property with lots of wildlife, great views, close to the ocean, and comfortable space without the 4x4 experience common in the area – this is an excellent choice.

Find us between the villages of Uvita and Ojochal. Our location is in close proximity to multiple dining options, yoga studios, waterfalls, hikes, surfing, and more! Spend your days relaxing by our 40' (12 meters) pool, exploring surrounding rainforests, incredible beaches and local waterfalls. Nearby activities to choose from include surfing, horseback riding, kayaking, birdwatching, whale watching, diving, snorkel, massage, and more. Our villas are on a high point overlooking the world-famous Ballena National Marine Park, where you'll be able to access the mostly deserted beach and natural pools through our private rainforest walkways. A true luxury and zen-like experience! Getting around: The best transportation option is to drive your car or a rental car. There are also buses that go to Ojochal, Uvita and Dominical. There's no night buses.

Our unique location on a hilltop peninsula halfway between Uvita and Ojochal places us minutes away from rainforest activities and fine restaurants.
