The place was wonderful. There wasn't that many people. Our family loved it. We would definitely stay again. There was so many towels we never had to want for a towel our entire stay. We love that the people that were there were so helpful. The pool was never crowded. I would say that this place I would give it 100%

The Condo was nice but checking in was a hassle. We did not get to condo until after 5 but had to wait for over an hour to be able to into the condo. We finally got into the condo & went to fix supper & learned that most if not all the dishes in the cabinets were dirty. We had to handwash all the dishes we got out of the cabinets including utensils.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. We wish you had let us know about your cleaning concerns during your stay so we could send someone out to address them. For check-in, you simply had not looked at your guest portal that we do email and text to guests a few times ahead of their stay, including their day of arrival. That includes all of the access codes, instructions for picking up your key packet, and all other information. Once you called us afterhours, we directed you immediately to that portal and you were able to check right in. This side was not our error and when you asked for assistance, we did respond immediately.

Good review

Description was spot on, the construction was a little loud during business hours but we were at the beach or pool most of the time. Can’t wait til it’s finished for our trip next year. Great location, easy access to beach.

Price was right for us. Condo itself was clean and well maintained. Looks a little bigger in the pictures. Property and amenities are a little dated. Beach was nice.

Amazing

We arrived a little earlier than planned and I asked if we could go ahead and check in and she said absolutely. The condo was perfect for us while we stayed there. The pool was a big hit for my children. Easy access to the beach. Will definitely be booking with them again.

Amazing

The condo was amazing! Everything as is in pictures and the ocean luxury realty was amazing host. The condo is right on the ocean! I could have not picked a better place for me and my family. We stayed a full week. The condo was updated and clean and fully stocked! The location is perfect. I highly suggest renting anything from ocean luxury realty. The sand dollar condo is amazing for families. Thank you for a great stay!!

We had an amazing time! Ed kept everything clean and very secure! Safety was never an issue. The condo was clean and newly updated. The exterior of the building is showing it's age. We only wished the hot tub was larger 😏 will definitely be back!

Condo was nice, secure, comfortable. Pool was GREAT, hot tub was a little greenish looking. a LOT of construction in close proximity going on which made beach access quite difficult

Good stay

Great place, clean! Only complaint it took 3 days to fix kitchen sink, granted one of the days was Sunday, but they were supposed to come Monday said no parking which I went down and there were 8 spots available, finally came back and fixed Tuesday. Asked for some money off never heard back

For the sink, it was a very small and slow sleek that just had a little drip coming from under the sink. A bowl was able to catch the small amount of water until we came to fix it. Because it was not an emergency, we did not send someone to fix it on a Sunday. We did try to come Monday, as you noted, but the parking spaces the HOA allows vendors and managers to park in were all full indeed. We did come back early Tuesday in order to get a space before they all filled up. We did reply to your compensation request just explaining that because the sink was fully operational and the slow, small leak didn't impact your stay, that we were declining to compensation for this very small maintenance concern.

We enjoyed our stay; the apartment was just the right size and had all accommodations we needed. We understand the construction going on, not being able to use the balcony, and no beach access was beyond your control, and something that has to be done at the time of our stay, and in the future. We definitely would consider staying there again, the only drawback is that it is about 1.8 miles from where the rest of our family stay. Thank you again.

Wonderful vacation.

The lady in the office was awesome and went above and beyond to help. Was glad to have had a pool but it did need some attention. Alot of trash and debree all around. I'm sure this was probably due to all the construction going on. Policy on parking during construction was not made completely clear. We were under the impression that parking was scarce but not that there was NONE AT All. The lady in the office was very helpful though so, due to her, it all worked out.

For your concerns, this was all mentioned in the listing specifically prior to booking and even in an email sent automatically right after booking. There is naturally construction debris outside during construction and we were clear that guests would only receive their one, assigned parking space during their stay while construction is ongoing throughout 2023. We understand these items impact guests' stay but we also well-inform guests and have reduced rates in 2023 for this reason.

The key pick up and drop off was quite easy. Actually within walking distance of the condo. 805 was very clean. We immediately noticed all the wall mirrors and sliding door windows that were spotless. That shows that they did a pretty good cleaning throughout. We appreciate that. The kitchen is well equipped, and the TVs are all modern. Improvements would be perhaps a new master bedroom mattress, a new entrance door that doesn’t quite seal now and chair slides so they don’t scratch along the floor.The building just had an exteriorrenovation and it is much improved from a couple years ago which was really in sorry condition. The elevators could use a great deal more cleaning, but the rest of the building isn’t pretty decent shape. The pool and beach access of course right now are still closed and construction seems to be going very very slowly as we only saw one day of Contractor at work while we stayed.Melissa, the office manager is really quite nice and helpful with a lot of good information.

Sand Dollar March-April rental

The condo inside was very nice - clean, updated and contained anything we might need for our stay. Unfortunately we were never notified that they would be boarding up our windows and sliding glass doors 8 days before we were scheduled to check out. This was work on the outside of the building that had been planned for months - prior to the hurricanes. I received a message from the property manager a week and a half after we arrived asking when it would be convenient for the owners to stop over and remove the balcony furniture! This was the first we had heard of it! We did receive our money back for the days we had paid for - but had to cut our vacation to Florida short. Apparently they will be boarded up for several months. Read the small print. Very disappointing.

Rates were also reduced prior to you booking but the owner was generous in offering you an additional discount even though you were informed so it's unfortunate to see a negative review after all of that. For future guests, the construction schedule and impacts are all listing in the beginning of the listing description so that guests are aware. We want all of our guests to book fully aware of all the impacts.
