Great house to stay at!

We had an amazing stay at this house. There are many areas to hang out outside and inside. The house was clean, modern, and cozy! We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful home, tastefully decorated and with so many thoughtful touches. Stayed here with our friends for a wedding weekend in the area. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil place to stay. Sue was great with her pre-stay messages to make sure we had everything we needed to find and enter the home.

The perfect weekend retreat

This is our third annual stay, and it just keeps getting better. Every detail is perfectly appointed and the home and grounds are gorgeous. Perfect setting for a girls’ weekend for my birthday. We always wish we could stay longer! Thank you for your hospitality!

Amazing Home!

This was one of the most tranquil settings! The home was stunning and all the “perks” really just blew us away! We will definitely be back!!

Country Bliss!

Our stay at Hurdle Mills was most relaxing and enjoyable! The farmhouse was beautufully renovated and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch sipping wine and listening to the birds. Situated fourteen miles from the historic town of Hillsborough

Fall family weekend

We came for family Weekend at Duke University This is our second visit to the farmhouse . This home is even more beautiful in the Fall. It’s cozy and immaculately perfect . The fire place , Morning coffee and beautiful Sunrises make this truly a home away from home.

Pure Bliss

We stayed several days for my daughter’s graduation from Elon. Hosts are great and very responsive. The most relaxing location you can imagine. House is so clean and comfy. Beverage fridge is a huge plus. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

Beautiful and peaceful!

This property is amazing! Inside and out. Perfect for a relaxing stay. We were in town for a wedding so I didn’t get the time to explore all the property but they have taken the time to really get all the details right! Inside they have left all the things you would need, even a sleep machine. I mean everything was perfect. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to everyone!!

Awesome home with extras

Our Family enjoyed staying at this farm style home. Not only was it very clean they also provided extras which came in hand when I forgot the sugar for our coffee. The property itself is beautiful and we enjoyed walking on the trails around the home. Our Family enjoyed the large back patio where you could sit and drink your coffee or have a beer. We would definitely rent this home again! The host was very responsive to any questions I had.

Contemporary Charming Farmhouse

This home is gorgeous and the kitchen/dining area is open and perfect for enjoying family time and meals. The weather was not good so I hate we were not able to explore this large property and hike the trail. Susan was very kind and had the fire pit loaded and ready for us. I don't think you could ask for a nicer host. We were also welcomed with wine, cold water, beer and pantry items. Lovely home that makes you feel welcome and special.

What a Surprise!

You can see the home is very clean and well maintained on the outside but when you open the door and walk inside you will be amazed! I have never seen a more beautiful renovation of a farm house. A wonderful surprise! The owners were very helpful and there are operating instructions for all the modern appliances. They also have a book with “local” places to visit and things to do. We will be returning!

Above and beyond expectations -- a perfect fall retreat!

From the moment we arrived at this farmhouse, we were blown away. Every single detail was perfectly appointed, and unbelievably, it was even more beautiful in person than the photos show. It was clear a lot of love, attention, and design expertise were poured into this renovation, and as a result, it was a perfect space for our group to rest and reconnect. The property itself is lovely. The trails are well-marked, the stars shine bright, and it's very quiet. We really enjoyed the fire pit on the patio. The details in the house are incredible. We enjoyed Pellegrino upon arrival and loved the peaceful aesthetics of the home. The beds are super comfortable, and the sound machine added a nice touch. We loved the breakfast nook, the morning sun, and the beautiful farmhouse table. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. Thank you for hosting us so well!

Quiet Tranquil Treasure

Exceeded all expectations. So peaceful and secluded. Lovingly restored house. Excellent communication with owners and tons of hospitality. Thanks for letting me enjoy such a great slice of NC.

Great get away

This was a wonderful place to stay! We had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor patio and enjoyed the trail on the property daily. We saw a turkey one morning. The house is close to Hillsborough where we hiked and enjoyed shopping.

Great place to shoot a film!

The cast and crew stayed here for a long weekend and shot a film. Could not have been more ideal. Quiet, spacious but cozy too. Clean place, comfortable beds, kitchen ready to go with many appliances. The restoration is beyond impressive and the lighting was perfect. Fantastic, memorable experience.
