Check-in was quick and hassle-free, no waiting around or confusing instructions. Loved being steps from the sand with beautiful ocean views right from the unit. Everything was well-stocked and comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk to shops and restaurants nearby.

Overall, the location was great but the condo itself was extremely outdated. For the price of the location, expected upgraded appliances, bedding and all other furniture. The pots and pans were extremely warn and the vacuum provided was from 1970. Needs a refreshing to account for the cost.

There is no AC and I missed the fine print as I did not expect this day and age in USA considering the hot summers that a place at this price would not have AC!Horribly hot with filthy fans which were too gross to use .The porch door is rotten , very hard yo open and close and the furniture was dirty !The blinds are broken in the bedroom The place has thin walls and you can hear everything from the neighbors: the kids screaming all day , the tv left on loud all night There aren’t any decent restaurants around and with the sand tower they built in front we couldn’t even see the water

Beautiful location but beach does have a lot of traffic and partying but they shut it down at 10.00pm. Host are and communication is great. The place speaks for it self. Ocean view is gorgeous!

Very convenient location. Short walking distance to dining and entertainment. Excellent views of the beach and ocean. Clean. Well equipped kitchen. Had some issues lighting the outdoor grill. People in downstairs unit were nice to let us use theirs. Older property that could use some minor maintenance. Good value. Would stay again.

Perfect beach vacation

The the unit was well stocked with everything we needed, the views were amazing, and the proximity to the boardwalk and both peers made it the perfect place to stay and truly relax.

Amazing location!

Walkable or bikable to everything you need—beaches, Balboa, restaurants, shopping and more. Perfect for a family getaway. Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely girls weekend stay

This house was lovely and was perfectly situated for shopping, restaurants, and the ferry. The patio on the sand was perfect. We had a wonderful time.

Actually is not a pool. But it is on the beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in the pier.

Excellent location

Absolutely perfect location! So many activities available within walking distance. Don’t have to worry about parking as long as you have one vehicle. Very nice place to stay!

Wonderful property on the beach

The home was very nice and clean. The views were amazing and location was perfect. The only thing was it does need ac in the summer.

Great Location

Amazing location, property was fine, not exceptional. We had an issue with the dryer and the property management company was out there to resolve super fast.

Great Home for a Beach Getaway

This was a great house in Newport and exactly what we were looking for. Right on the sand, easy walk to the water, and right next to fire pits. The house had the basic appliances, but it's best to bring anything you need for cooking. There weren't any spices, coffee, or condiments. The house is walking distance to the pier, shops, and restaurants. We had a great time and would go back!

Beautiful Views

Only drawback was the way sound traveled through the property. This may have just been due to the people in the unit next to us but you can hear everything through the walls. Other than that it was a beautiful place in a fantastic location.

Great location for a family vacation

This unit is perfectly situated on the beach. It was so convenient to just walk back to the condo to grab lunch or use the bathroom, especially for a family with young kids. We could also walk to dinner, shops, and entertainment. It was great to have a garage, but a little annoying to share it with the other renters. A couple times we had to ask someone to move their car or switch spots due to the size of our vehicle. If this process could be clarified more, I think that would be helpful. Overall, a great rental!

Not happy

Had to call both nights about noise from other guests. They did not enforce their strict noise ordinance. The stove did not work so we had to throw away all the food we brought. And there was a chair that was broken, luckily we did not sit on it.

We strictly enforce our rules and that is why we did send a representative out to handle the noise complaints from neighbors. We always do our best to control the situation---as we waited outside to ensure the noise stopped (which it did). We apologize you experienced this issue, however, this was an isolated incident and not an ongoing issue for future guests. Regarding the other items, these have been addressed. We would love to have you back at our home to see all the improvements we have made! Thank you again for staying with Tower 17 Properties!

Nice location, old broken furniture

Loved the location. Furniture was old and broken. Blinds on front window were broken (privacy issue). Not enough seating in living space. Has one small couch and some uncomfortable chairs. If they would put in just a little to buy sturdy furniture and new blinds, this place could be really great. Bathrooms also old. Basically, I told my kids not to touch anything because most stuff was on the verge of breaking and I didn't want to be responsible. Not a relaxing situation to be in.

Spring break stay

I arrived and all went smoothly! The directions that were given to me were accurate and the key were waiting in the lockbox right outside the door! The place was just as advertised and clean. On day two my garage remote stopped working (luckily I had a key to get in) and the washing machine broke! However, I called the management company and Bobby got back to me with answers for everything! He came by, fixed the remote (which was just a battery) and rectified the washing machine problem. He was very nice and super accommodating. Thank you Bobby! I will definitely rent here again or at least use this company for another property.

Maintenance light

Stayed over New Years. On the second day the oven and the griddle stopped working. Oven was fixed by the late afternoon but the griddle never worked again despite 2 more calls to management. On the morning of New Year’s Eve, the disposal was not working. Management notified and we were promised a fix the same day. Disposal not fixed until the late afternoon the next day. We were told Tower 17 was “short staffed and overwhelmed” on the 31st. When disposal was fixed, the sink was left with food particles and grease half way up the sink. Fourth call ended with the promise the manager would call back. Still waiting for the call… Great view of the ocean but difficult to recommend this management company.
