Charming Lakehouse /w boat dock and heated pool

Retreat with everything you need. Fully furnished and tastefully designed 3 bedroom home on a quiet 2 acre private property, with a short 5 min walk to a shared boat dock. Boat dock is shared between our two properties only.

Home has all the conveniences you can think of to make a perfect getaway. You can sit around the campfire in the evening or just enjoy wildlife site seeing. Rent a boat and explore Lake Lanier or relax by the fire pit or pool.

Great for families and those looking to get away to recharge.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful vrbo for our wedding weekend! It was the perfect place to peacefully relax after all the festivities. We enjoyed the walk down to the lake to enjoy our morning coffee, swam in the pool, had dinner on the patio dining table and made a cozy fire in the evening! The house was secluded and it was a nice romantic getaway! If we are ever back in the area for another long weekend, we will absolutely stay here again.

Great house!

We had a wonderful stay. Kids loved the pool and the bunk beds! Plenty of supplies for our group of 7 ladies. If we venture back to Georgia, we would definitely stay here again. Houses nearby, but you wouldn't know it. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the walk to the water.

Great retreat/reset

Booked this for some down time and to be close to/attend a service at Free Chapel in Gainsville. The house, hosts (owners), and area were all wonderful. The walk down to the water/dock was worth the trip back up the hill!

Great Home Tucked Away on the Lake!

My family and I had a great time staying at this beautiful home. It was perfect for my young daughter and a really comfortable place. It felt very secluded with a lot of wildlife. We were able to rent a boat for a few days and leave it down at the dock, which made enjoying time on the lake perfect. However, there is a little bit of hike down to the dock, which can be difficult with little ones and hauling boat stuff back and forth. Overall we had a really great time and would stay again!

Great weekend and hosts

We had some friends travel five hundred miles from the coast for the weekend. It was well worth the drive. The house is well kept and beds are very comfortable. It is close to downtown Gainesville which has some amazing restaurants. It rained, but had a lot of good college football. The hosts offered to alter our stay because of the weather. They are very kind. The lake is a good distance from the lake is my only thing I had a problem with. I would recommend this experience.

Nicely Renovated House by the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay. The recent house renovations were done well and the furniture was all very comfortable. Having a pool, grill and screened porch were great bonuses. We didn't use it but there's a great fire pit area and a decent sized yard to play catch/yard games. The path to the dock was a bit longer than expected but not too bad. And being able to fish off the dock and use the kayaks made it worth the walk. The owners were also extremely responsive to the couple questions we had and were very helpful. We'd definitely go back again!

Lake Life is the BEST LIFE!

From our first correspondence to our final goodbye, Julia and Alex were AMAZING!! The entire process was completely smooth! You could feel how much they genuinely cared about our stay! The home is PERFECT!!!! With 2 King Beds, it’s perfect for 2 adult couples or a nice big family…. Or BOTH! Everything you need! And it’s the cutest kids room ever! We had no kids but our pup had to check it out and he gave it 2 Paws Up! The property is the BEST Part! We felt like we were in our own little paradise!! Upon our arrival, we saw a deer within seconds, and that continued through our entire stay! The yard is so well maintained and enjoyable! The fire pit area made for a great place to hang out, while our dog ran for miles! The pool was nice and cold (it was September) and quite refreshing! Also CLEAN!! Now, make sure you read the pool rules! This is one of the Best Parts!! We appreciate some humor in our daily life and the pool rules delivered!!! The screened in back porch was awesome! Great table and chairs to enjoy a meal with your family or catch a good movie on the TV! The separate grill area is a plus and we wish we would of used it! It’s a BEAUTIFUL Hike to the Lake! From the wildlife to the little spots of running water, you feel like your in paradise! The path is clear and it’s easy to find your way to the lake! The dock is in a nice, quiet cove with friendly neighbors! We enjoyed being down there and swimming, while our dog did a little Dock Diving! If your looking for a little piece of paradise on the lake, look no further, as you have found it! Thank You SO much for a fantastic stay!!!

The hosts were great! Checked to make sure everything was great. Always responsive. Pet friendly there was even food and water bowls for pets. Beautiful property we loved our stay!

It was a very nice house and with it being next to the lake was remote, which made the whole thing feel like it was just ours. I also grew up very close to here so it was nice to feel like I was back home

Not only did our kiddo have fun as well as us.. But the dogs had a blast as well! We will be back for sure! Highly recommend this place! Also, Alex and Julie are quick to answer any of your questions! They also thought of EVERYTHING.. If you forgot something don’t worry I’m sure it will be there! Make sure to take a stroll down to the lake, you won't regret!

Great Weekend

We were in the area for a wedding and the place was wonderful to entertain until then. Lake was great for the dogs and the pool was great for the humans. Very well stocked kitchen for a rental too! Owners couldn’t have been nicer to deal with.

Very clean

We were just there during the nights to sleep because we were gone racing during the day. 20 minutes from Road Atlanta. The beds are very comfortable. Very clean. I did like waking up and looking out the back door down the hill.

Very pleased

We were very pleased with our stay. Host was great & provided welcome snacks and even had coffee & filters available. House was very clean & comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen (even though we never used anything except coffee pot). Even saw a few deer in the morning. We will definitely stay there again next time we come to town.

What a wonderful place

The property was clean with updated fixtures throughout. It was roomy and comfortable. The mattresses were comfortable and there was a nice outdoor space. We will definitely book again!

Lake House

What a place to unwind! The house was so calming and had the comforts of home. A fantastic yard, front porch, screened in porch. This is a perfect place to relax- take a dip in the pool- then enjoy the evening by the fire pit. Perfect for family or just a quiet getaway. I have to be honest once we got there we had no desire to venture off we just enjoyed the serenity of the home. So secluded but yet convenient to stores and restaurants. I can’t say enough about Julia and her husband. They took care of every detailed and where beyond helpful and hospitable. We are planning a fall trip to stay at their lake house. I could only image how beautiful it will be in the fall.

Terrific Lake House!

What a Great Lake House! The house is very comfortable and well stocked. We utilized the dock as we brought our boat with us and there are many convenient launch areas around the house…as well as great places to eat on Lake Lanier. The pool area is a great place to relax with friends and family. We highly recommend this house for your next vacation on Lake Lanier!

We are a family and happy parents of two wonderful girls (5y + 1y) and three very well behaved and goofy rescue hounds. We love traveling, entertaining guests and very passionate about healthy lifestyle. Recently we fell in love with life at the lake and would like to share this great experience with others.
We are new to being VRBO hosts and are constantly working on improving our charming house between guest stays and busy life with toddler and newborn baby - one step at a time (because we are human, although having superpowers would be very cool), but always trying to move forward, always passionate about what we do, and always working hard to earn your smiles and great feedback after each stay.

Unfortunately in the world of VRBO, a 5-star rating means 'Good', but a 4-star rating means 'Bad'. Please let us have a chance to resolve any problem, concern or issue before you provide us with feedback. We are always available to help!

You will have full access to the three bedroom home with electronic keyless code to access. Unfinished basement is not accessible at this time;
Garage is locked off for owners storage (there are certain things we just can’t store in the basement). Parking is in front of the driveway. There is a private dining patio and back deck with swimming pool; as well as a separate fire pit area.
House is located on a quiet 2.5 acre property, there is only one neighbor that might be visible from afar distance through the greenery by the pool side, but we will be working on blocking off that small gap with continued fence very shortly. Other than that property is very private. Our home is perfect for families and those looking to get away to recharge.
