No pets allowed. We are very sorry, but our family has multiple members that are allergic and also suffer from asthma. No large gatherings or events. Maximum 7 overnight guests.

This beautiful 1600 square foot, fully furnished house with two living areas to relax in is just a 2 minute walk to the covered dock in a quiet, wonderful cove. It sits back from the street nestled in the tall trees. It has a wrap around deck to enjoy the cool quiet evenings.

Our house at the lake features hardwood floors throughout the downstairs living areas, beautiful, functional kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked and even has a keurig and a crock pot!

There is a king bed in the upstairs master suite with a private bath and private deck. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed. The kids' room has a single over full bunk bed.

There are two living areas, one with a large flat screen tv, the other is just off the kitchen with two cozy chairs for reading or chatting.

There are two TV's in the house and WiFi, but also a tv for DVD's only in the kids' room. We've also provided some of our favorite board games, puzzles and a few decks of cards for quality "disconnected" family time without the distraction of electronic devices.

The house sits on a secluded cove that is wide and deep and is bordered on one side by an un-populated peninsula. This cove is big enough to play in all day and we rarely feel the need to even leave it, but we're just 5-10 minute boat ride to Gainesville Marina which has a gas dock as well as Skogies on Lanier.

The single slip dock will easily accommodate up to a 24' boat.

Our home is conveniently located just minutes from shopping at Wal-mart, Target, Kohls, Old Navy, Marshall's, Ross, Publix, Academy, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Great dining is close by at Texas Road House, Cheddar's, Olive Garden, Wild Wings & Panera Bread.

This home has recently added a stacked washer/dryer. There is also a fabulous laundro-mat literally right across the street from the neighborhood. It is very clean and nice. You can wash multiple loads at once and be out the door in about an hour!

You will find ample parking on the driveway. Do NOT park on any of the grass. We have a septic and water main that could be compromised.

No off-road (ATV, dirt-bike type vehicles) allowed anywhere on our property or the corps property.

Please do not move the grill. Someone moved it beside the kitchen window and the heat the grill put off caused the window to break.

Christmas

Everything was wonderful. Came in from Texas to spend Christmas with family who live in Gainesville. Deanna checked with us to make sure we were in and even sent us a "Happy New Year" greeting. She made it clear to contact her if there were any issues. 5-Star. Would have made it more stars if I could have. House is well equipped.

Great Space & Location

Spent the weekend with my older daughter, 2 grandbabies and 16 year old son. He completely enjoyed the paddleboard! Plenty of games and fun for the littles :) Beds and furniture were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The owner was amazing.... any question I had was promptly answered. Definitely recommend!

What a gem!

We were in the Atlanta area for a baseball tournament and really enjoyed our stay at this house. Plenty of space in the house and we loved the time on the dock and floating in the lake. We brought our jet skis and there was plenty of space for them on the dock. Our entire family enjoyed themselves and Deana is an amazing host! Highly recommend this property!!

Comfort all around.

Deana was an amazing host, incredible thoughtful, fast to response and communication was overall stellar. We found this property as we tried to escape an awful VRBO we had rented and needed something close by…and fast. Deana was quick to respond, made sure that the property was cleaned from the previous tenants very quickly and checked in with us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. The home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had a lot of things going on and never made it to the lake from the house (we were visiting family and spent time at their lake house) and I just wish there were some lake views, but honestly that is not even a concern. I would absolutely recommend this property if you’re okay with not being “right” at the lake. Thank you for hosting us!

Good fishing cabin

Three friends and I spend a week each April fishing for spotted bass on Lake Lanier. This house worked very well for our week. We all four bring our fishing boats so we need room for four vehicles pulling boats. The large U-shaped driveway accomodated all four boats with room to spare. This house also has a dock on Lake Lanier which makes it convenient to come in for a lunch break. From this house in Gainesville you can easily access any part of Lake Lanier. The house inside is well equipped and is very comfortable. The host is very responsive to any questions or issues that arise. We plan to book it again next year.

Great little retreat!

The perfect place to get together with family. Two bedrooms on the main floor made it easy for people who had trouble navigating stairs. Would definitely visit again.

At the lake

Every year for the last 10yrs 4 of us college buds meet at Lake Lanier and spend 4 days at different locations around the lake.This year only 2 could make it but it was great just the same, Deana's lake house was spotless, well equiped and was close to great eateries. The home also had a covered dock to keep my boat during our stay.

Nice Location On The Lake

Great property and location!

The booking and payment process was super simple, with no surprises. Communiication with the property owner (Deana) was easy. We shared mobile numbers once we got to the property. When we arrived, the property was EXACTLY the way it's shown in the photos and described in the listing. Since we were there with young kids (ages 1 and 3), the large open living space was perfect for crawling and exploring, all while being within easy view of parents and grandparents. Great, fully equipped kitchen, which we used for breakfast each morning. Nice, propane grill which we used to cook brats one night. We especially enjoyed the bedroom arrangement. My wife and I took the VERY large upstairs bedroom and full bath and our kids and grandkids took the 2 main floor bedrooms and full bath. This gave us the quiet we needed, while giving them the space that they needed. Everything in the place worked great - TV's, appliances, WiFi, ceiling fans, etc. And, the place was super clean. It also worked out well for us because of the dock that is on the property. The inlaws own a pontoon boat that is kept at a marina on Lake Lanier so they would just come over to the dock, pick us up, take us out on the lake to play and then take us to one of the dockable restaurants on the lake. The trail to the dock from the back deck is a short walk, but isn't very steep. We were able to pull a cooler with wheels between the house and the dock. We would definitely book this property again!

Beautiful home! Perfect location! Plenty of space. Came down from Michigan for family vacation and to get a car for our daughter who lives here. This house is stunning! Plenty of room for us, my sister and her two kids. Close to shopping, parks and dining out. Deana is a great hostess!

Clean me nice. Not far from Road Atlanta

House was great. Host was great. stayed here while racing at Road Atlanta - not a bad drive to have such a nice place to rest at the end of the day. Would stay again and highly recommend. Very clean.

Great place to stay and/or to fish Lake Lanier

Deana, the property manager and her husband did a great job in organizing and equiping the house for a comfortable and relaxing stay. In addition, they were both very responsive to address any question or issue that came up. Deana provided a detailed sheet before we checked in with details about the house as well as information about the surrounding area. This helped us to orient quickly. The kitchen is very well equipped with whatever you need to cook. There is a gas grill that worked great on steaks, burgers, pork chops and brats! The rest of the house was very good. My group of 4 men used the house for our annual fishing trip on Lake Lanier. The house has a large U shaped driveway that accomodated our 4 fishing boats and trailers well. It also has a boat dock that we used midday for lunch. The lot is relatively flat so walking from the dock to the house was very easy. The house is located on the edge of Gainesville which puts it at the middle of Lake Lanier. This makes it possible to access all parts of the lake easily with minimal driving. My group will definitely book this house again for our next fishing trip. Thanks to Deana for a great stay at her lovely house!!

After an extensive search, we purchased this lake home as a weekend getaway to enjoy all that Lake Lanier has to offer - great tubing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding, fishing and just plain floating and relaxing.
