Wonderful stay in Whidbey! We enjoyed the expansive views of the Puget Sound and the walks on the shoreline. There were plenty of places to enjoy the outside and put our feet in the sand. Nice location and the home was well furnished. Overall, a great getaway!

Great property for a family weekend stay. Lots of amenities to make things comfort and fun. One little mishap with the cleaners taking the key home accidentally, but after reaching out to the owners, we able to get in within an hour or so.

Check in and check out a breeze. The beds are comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The beach access and view were beyond fabulous. We saw bald eagles on the beach, went fishing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing home right on the beach! Useless Bay is the best beach on Whidbey. Most homes on the beach are summer folks so it was like we had it all to ourselves. So close to Seattle yet a world away. This home has it all but you stay here for the beach, the water, wildlife and view. The whole beach side is all windows so whether you're inside or out, you can take it all in.

Lovely home

This home was very comfortable with an easy feel and beautiful, fun, beach access. We could tell this home is loved and has maritime character. Billy was responsive, kitchen was stocked like home. We appreciated the games and children's books around too.

Best beach on the island!

The house is great with plenty. Of beds and fabulous deck. Bald eagles love it there and the off leash dog park is steps away.

Amazing location!

I had a great stay! My dog was so happy to be so close to the dog beach. This location is great and the property manager was easy to get in touch with! I will be renting again!

Perfect Whidbey Cabin

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It’s in the best beach and street on Whidbey and we loved the location. The cabin is well maintained and the new deck is beautiful. The second bathroom had also recently been updated with a second shower so that was a wonderful surprise. Thanks for sharing your cabin!

Beach getaway

Lovely little beach house in an excellent location. I would recommend this property to smaller groups as the interior is on the “cozy” side. Our group of 4 adults and 2 children was just perfect. Also if you plan to bring small children i recommend bringing your own baby gate as the one provided is not a secure barrier for the stairs.

Absolutely Perfect

The house is comfortable, location could not be more perfect. Communication with the Host of the property was excellent. We are returning guests from a previous stay and quality has been maintained for cleaniness, and supplies! We plan on returning for next summer!

Great Beach Vacation

The location was fabulous and the house was beautiful and comfortable and the site had everything you could need for a wonderful vacation. We had seven family members ranging from 10 to 70 and we had plenty of room for everyone. There were eagles perched on the beach every morning, what a site! My whole family enjoyed beach combing and fishing and what a wonderful spot to hang out. This is my first time using VRBO and I will definitely use the site again and rent this beach house again. It exceeded all my expectations.

Excellent

This is a special place and the second time we’ve stayed at this home. It’s an older house and well equipped. There’s plenty of space to spread out. We spent most of our time on the large deck and on the sandy beach. We also enjoyed the two kayaks. During our visit a local spotted a whale and we saw an otter swim by in the early morning. All in all a truly special time.

Family Memorial

We were in awe of the vacation house. It was a peaceful stay and just whst our family needed! We came together to memorialize our father who lived Whidbey Island and the waters of Puget Sound. He designed alot of The Seattle Skyline years ago so fitting to have the view ahead of us. We used the boats available and shared stories of our summers at Lagoon Point a bit North of Double Bluff. We hope to stay again sometime. Thank you!

The house and location - beautiful, peaceful and an excellent respite

The house worked perfect for our short 2 short night stay. This place is amazing! To better our stay we would have appreciated bedroom ceiling fans or stand fans due to lack of a cooling breeze. Unfortunately the next door neighbor was doing concrete saw-cutting of their outdoor patio for most of the day - which was somewhat annoying. All in all…..a really great time! Kayaks, fire pit, BBQ, kitchen were well stocked and all really set up perfectly!

Wedding Weekend

It was my daughters wedding so we booked out over a year in advance. Great location and loved walking early in the morning. Very quiet. Only hiccup was that I couldn’t get into the property because the key wasn’t left for me. I had to wait over an hour to finally track down the key from the housekeeper. Would definitely stay again. Great beach.

We stayed here for a birthday weekend and had a great time overall. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, and we loved using the kayaks and sitting around the firepit in the evenings. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices and oils, and the welcome wine was a thoughtful touch. Lots to do around, and the beach was spectacular. The decor at home had a personal touch to it.On the downside, the beds were creaky, and the grandfather clock rings every hour at night (we eventually figured out how to turn it off). The master bedroom door doesn’t lock, and we also noticed quite a few ants and fruit flies in the kitchen. We had some delays in check in as we had trouble figuring out how to enter. Overall, the stay was memorable, but a few updates would make go a long way in making it a perfect experience.

We just left your beautiful paradise enjoyed it so much. The neighborhood Eagle graced us with his majesty twice and we found the happy little sea otter's banquet table, along with the herons,so much ocean life on the beach. The Kayaks were taken out twice. Thank you so much.Wonderful restful weekend and a great place to turn 50 for our daughter-in-law.

This is the best street and beach on Whidbey. Lots of beautiful sandy beach walks and gorgeous houses to look at and paths to walk in the wetlands as well. This is the only rental left on the beach side, so we’re very grateful the owners still share it with renters. It’s an older house with a few quirks but the main bathroom has been updated, there’s lots of sleeping space and the deck is brand new and very spacious.
