"Dad's Cabin" is beautifully updated log cabin with views of the majestic Great Smoky Mountains and Mt LeConte. Perfect set up for multiple families or couples, with bedrooms and private decks on each level. Relax in the hot tub, unwind on the porch swing, or enjoy picnics on the back decks, all with a gorgeous view. Charcoal BBQ, pool table, wifi, video console and jumbo connect four, everything you need to keep the kids (or men) busy. Only 7 miles to Dollywood and The Island, and just 5 miles to The Parkway in Pigeon Forge. Community also offers a stocked catch and release fishing pond so bring your fishing gear!

Great place. Parking was the only downside but it worked out. Very steep road to cabin and tight parking for three vehicles. It worked out though. Cabin is wonderful.

Close to all the main towns but far enough to feel like you are in the woods. The sunrises were PERFECTION!!!Comminication with host was amazing!

We had an amazing time at Dad's cabin! There were 4 of us older women and we each had our own room for privacy and down time while having plenty of space for crafts, games and food around the dining room table. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. Our hosts were quick to respond to all questions or concerns prior and during our stay. The location was close to the main parkway in Pigeon Forge! One note of information is that there was no common balcony. Each balcony was through a bedroom which didn't deter us from getting out and seeing the most beautiful sunrises that popped up from behind the mountains! The view was breathtaking!

Hospitality was great. Communication with host and hostess was excellent. Cabin was clean and well maintained. Instructions to get to cabin was on point and very helpful. Parking was a tight fit, and difficult for 3 small vehicles as the location of cabin is on an incline. However parking can be manageable even though a tight fit.

Family Friendly

What a wonderful stay at this cabin. Cabin is perfectly suited for families to visit with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate. Very cozy and welcoming. Easy to check in and out. Near all the amenities but also just far out enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. Wonderful views of the mountains. Was so happy we found this place and look forward to our next stay already.

Not worth the price

Listing says fenced in private pool, no pool on site, hot tub was very slimy and dirty, living room carpet smells like pee, no games or board games. For the price you can find better

First Time in the Mountains

The overall experience was great. We had a few hiccups due to our door code not working upon arrival. However, it was resolved within about 30 minutes through a phonecall to VRBO. Also, the host was unaware that the bathroom Jacuzzi was not working. That wasn't a big deal because the hot tub on the balcony was working fine! All in all, we would stay again because the host was nice and the cabin was very spacious and clean!

Convenient & Friendly!

We booked the cabin for 3 nights & had a great time. There was an issue with the main entry lock but the owners were quick in their response & had maintenance quickly fix the situation. The cabin was clean, location was great & views were fantastic!

Dad’s Cabin

Stayed 5 nights at Dad’s Cabin. The road to the cabin is steep and not much driveway room for 2 full size vehicles. But, the cabin was very nice and comfortable.

Great Cabin

Great cabin near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Game room was great for our teenagers and kids. Parking 2 large SUVS was a little tight but worked out well enough.

Birthday Trip

We truly had the best time at this cabin. It was a beautiful place with plenty of space. The Hot tub was awesome as well as the pool table. Parking outside is very limited but that was told upfront so no big deal there we made it work. Other than that I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

Family Get Away

Dad’s Cabin was perfect for our little family get away! Marcia and Gary went above and beyond. They made the entire process easy and stress free. We had zero issues while we were there, but they checked in multiple times to make sure everything was going well and to remind us how to get ahold of them if we needed anything. The cabin looks exactly like the pictures, and the location is perfect! We will definitely be going back in the future. We absolutely recommend Dad’s Cabin!

Great Place to Stay

Everything was as described! Beds were comfy. Everything was clean and its stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. The only thing I can say is make sure everyone is ready to go to bed at the same time since when someone is walking on the floor above you its very loud. Walk softly when there are people sleeping below you. Besides that I have nothing negative to say about this great cabin. The drive there isnt bad at all. Once you pass the gate it gets VERY STEEP but its not a lot of curves etc. Also only plan to fit two vehicles in the driveway. We barely fit a mini van and full size pick up in the driveway but we did it. Son caught his first fish in the stocked pond too so that was a big win for him! We would stay here again definitely!

Easter weekend

We had a wonderful time during our Easter weekend. The cabin was perfect for our family, 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The girls had plenty of space downstairs to enjoy themselves and the adults were able to relax on the main floor without bothering the kids. The views from the decks are amazing. The only concern was a very steep roadway and tight parking for 2 vehicles. Guess we should expect that in the mountains, but everyone should prepare for the final 200 ft climb in your car. Larger vehicles might not fit end to end in the parking, so be prepared to park on that steep hill if necessary. This cabin was exactly what we'd expect and the owners were available if we had needed anything, which we didn't since everything was exactly as described. We will gladly stay again.

This is a wonderful cabin for a family. The views are beautiful and the hosts are wonderful to work with. We had some concerns about travel conditions the day we were scheduled to arrive. The owners sent updates including a picture of the driveway. It was no problem at all. We liked everything about this property. My son and I especially enjoyed the gameroom and Galaga!
