- A relaxing, coastal getaway awaits you at The Surf Shak, a restored 2-bedroom, 2-bath home in Murrells Inlet, SC. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city life in this quaint fishing town, just 10 miles south of Myrtle Beach. Less than a mile from the delicious restaurants at the Marsh-walk and 1/2 mile to the boat landing.

The AMAZING front porch
-After a long day of soaking up the sun, relax on the screened in porch featuring 2 rocking chairs, porch swing, hammock and fire pit.

The Living Area
-Cozy up on the couch, watch the smart tv or read a book in the large chair with ottoman.

Beds
-The master suite has a comfortable queen bed with soft sheets and great pillows.
-The bunk room contains a twin, full and trundle bed that sleeps 4.

Bath
-Enjoy 2 full baths. The master has a tub/shower combo.

Kitchen/Dining
-Cook your meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Coffee maker or Keurig available.
-Gather with your friends and family at the large farmhouse table with seating for 6.
-Washer and dryer available

- We allow dogs with prior approval of count, breed and size before your stay begins.

We were there for Fall Bike Week- the house was perfectly located to watch all the bikes go by. The house was clean and perfect for our needs. We kept a trailer, Jeep, Motorcycle and our 2 dogs at the house. Any needs or questions we had were addressed almost immediately.

We enjoyed our stay at Murrells Inlet. The house was clean and ready for our stay. Our host Rebecca was very helpful with all info. The porch was our favorite spot to relax. This was our first Air B & B experience and we plan to do it again.

Check in was easy and they even allowed us to add an extra day which was a big plus! Loved the hammock on the screened porch and the dog loved hanging out on the porch as I relaxed and read my book!

Wonderful Stay!

Check in was easy, the place was easy to find and in a perfect part of town, very close to several restaurants and attractions as well as the beach access points. It was clean and check out instructions were easy, we will definitely be back!

Cute bungalow! Very close to MarshWalk! We weren’t in the bungalow very much, mostly just to sleep. Great time!

Excellent location

It was very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the screened porch with the hammock. Marsh walk is right around the corner. Restaurants and Bars.

Reminds me of a cabin up north on the lake but without a lake. Older unit but very comfortable!

Wonderful Stay

The house was very charming, LOVED the screened in porch, we enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. We had everything we needed for our stay. We would select this property again if we are ever back to Myrtle Beach

Very relaxing; some issues

Loved the feel of this place ! Host claimed loss of perfect rating unless I gave perfect score! Only a bunk bed in 2nd bedroom. No forepit as advertised - just the bunkbed. MAJOR HAZARD: a step down from main bedroom to BR; needs a ramp. TWO motel soap bars total. No 5-star host welcoming touches.

Cute Pet Friendly “Shack”

This historic older cottage is pet friendly and convenient to the Marshwalk. The best part is the large screened front porch for sitting and relaxing. The kitchen is large and well equipped, although we didn’t cook much at all on this visit. We mostly used the house for a place to sleep at night while we visited family in the area. Rebecca is great at communicating if you have any issues.

We had a wonderful time!

This Murrells Inlet cottage is Fantastic and Perfect!! Right around the corner from our favorite seafood market (Seven Seas), so close to Pawleys Island (where other family members were staying), fully stocked kitchen - we cooked a lot! Had the family over for dinner since the kitchen table is Large enough for 6 or 7 people. My husband loved the hammock! Our dog loved the screened-in front porch. The Master Bath is Huge! We really had a great time! Thanks for having such a fully stocked kitchen that I could make soup - plus other things. Ann&Randy (late June 2024) P.S. you only need wine glasses and some kitchen towels

1 word - AMAZING

The property was clean and ready for us! The kitchen and laundry area had everything we needed. It was the perfect home away from home! The location was wonderful as well! We were close to shops, food, and only a few minutes from several beaches. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Murrells Inlet Bungalow

The second time we have stayed here. Charming original beach Bungalow with charming updates. Very clean and comfortable. Rebecca is very thoughtful and responsive.

Surf Shak

Older home remodled with upgraded master bath. Very quaint. Would not recommend more than 3 adults unless you dont mind sleeping on the couch, which is very comfortable. Host is awesome to communicate with. Very responsive. Neighborhood is excellent and quiet. There is a lot of traffic noise but shutting the front door eliminated it. I would stay there again for sure.
