This first floor unit is pet friendly. Pet fee of $100.00 ( We allow 2 dogs) The view from my dream home is incredibly beautiful.(We live upstairs in a separate unit.) With the sound of the ocean echoing over the Inlet in the still of the evening makes my humble abode a dream place to visit. With so many choices of things to do year round! Our place resides on the Waccamaw Neck bike way, which is over18 miles of paved multiple purpose trail used for walking, cycling and hiking. We are walking distances to restaurants, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating , fishing swimming etc.

The unit was very clean. Clean Towels provided; clean linens on the bed. Coffee and filtered water provided. Just some things to know before you rent here: To get to the parking for this unit, you need to go to the next 'driveway/street' and turn left. Bed is 39" off the floor!

Wonderful!! We so enjoyed our stay with Shug! We felt so welcome and comfortable here, the place is very cutely decorated, clean and spacious, it’s exactly as described. Covered patio was perfect for our dog, and the fenced in yard was great so he could be off leash! Great location. The bed is SO comfortable. We can’t wait to return!

It's the perfect location!

Huntington Beach State Park is minutes away and so are amazing restaurants and activities. Everything was clean and comfortable. We hope to visit again!

this was a lovely place on the Marsh in Murrells Inlet. Easy to get to the bypass for restaurants, shopping and visiting friends. Shug provided a pass to the state parks which are nearby.

We had a wonderful trip. Property and host was exceptional. Shug was great to check on us and quick to respond. We traveled with a small pet and the location was great to walk and yard was fenced. We will definitely stay there again!

Home Sweet Vacation!

Shug thinks of EVERYTHING! Very clean, lots of room, snacks and fresh cut flowers, and very accommodating of our fur babies! We felt right at home! Nice outdoor hangouts! We will definitely visit again!

Great place

We had a great time, especially our pup. He loved being able to stay outside in the fenced in yard. We just wished we had felt better the beginning of our trip so we could have enjoyed this place a little more. Shug was a great host and this place is close to every thing. We will keep it in our list for next time for sure.

100% the best place to stay

Not only was this a great place for me and my boyfriend to stay, but a great place for the dogs too. We had rented this place not know it had a fence for the dogs and when the host told us we were thrilled that our fur babies could have a place to run around and play. The host was amazing with any questions we had and would always answer the phone if we called. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a cozy place for them and their pups!!

Clean, great location, and wonderfully hospitable host

Not only was Shug’s Shack in an amazing location (right across from easily the best restaurant in Murrels Inlet, the Hot Fish Club), but it was so clean! I was apprehensive about renting during the pandemic, but this property was remarkably clean. The host even had fresh flowers in each room, a sweet welcome letter, and snacks ready for us. These were over the top gestures that made our stay amazing.

Who don’t know that!!!…

We visit Shugs every summer for our anniversary getaway. We used to stay at various hotels but several years ago we found Shugs. It’s our home away from home every year and if you haven’t stayed yet; well, you’re missing out! “Who don’t know that!”
