A large kitchen, dining table for 6, and living room create the perfect place for gathering. Open concept living with high ceilings, plus a porch with a pair of rocking chairs.

🏡 2nd Floor :
1 King Bedroom & 1 Queen Bedroom share a Jack and Jill Bathroom, plus a porch with a pair of rocking chairs.

🏡 3rd Floor :
Primary Suite - King Bed and private Ensuite Bathroom complete with double sink vanity, shower, and separate bath tub. Opens to the private rooftop deck with rocking chairs and wicker seating.

Guest Access:
• Guests have access to entire home including the private rooftop deck.

• The house has an electronic door lock and a unique code will be provided that will work for the duration of your stay.

• Parking for 1 vehicle is provided in our private driveway.

The Neighborhood:
This home is in the most vibrant and walkable areas in Charleston. It is just three blocks from Upper King Street, where some of the world's most famous restaurants are just a step away. Nightlife begins literally around the corner. Convenient to all tourist attractions.

The best home in Charleston

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this vacation rental in Charleston. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the spaciousness, comfort, and thoughtful amenities that the house had to offer. The location was perfect for us – nestled in a charming neighborhood in Charleston, it provided a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to all the attractions. We appreciated the easy access to restaurants, shops, and historical sites, making it a breeze to explore the city. The house itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It had all the necessities we needed, and then some. We enjoyed evenings on the porch, savoring the Southern charm. Charleston mini vacay

This place is great. The decor was beautiful and the house was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect as it was close to King Street but just far enough away to avoid that hustle and bustle when we wanted. Our hosts checked in on us via text daily. They were quick to respond during our booking and prior to our arrival. We didn’t need to contact them during our stay because everything was perfect!

Amazing House

This house was in a perfect location. Very close to King Street. It was very clean and perfect for our family of four (two teenagers). Definitely recommend Ubering if going down by the water. Ubers always close by. Definitely will be rebooking on our next visit!

We really enjoyed our stay in Charleston and this residence added to the experience. Superb location, lots of space, very clean. Although just myself and my wife, you could accommodate 3 couples very comfortably without any sort of issue. We would love to stay again if ever in Charleston.

Great home for a family reunion

My husband, his 2 brothers and all three wives enjoyed a lovely 3 night reunion at Rose Cottage. Terrific location, property and hosts. Plenty of room to spread out and a great rooftop lounge.

Charleston Nightmare

My family and I stayed one night at what was supposed to be five nights. We were cut short by Hurricane Debby. Unfortunately we were not refunded. We now know the importance of travel insurance and strongly recommend anyone vacationing with VRBO obtain it because they will refuse to work with you despite catastrophic flooding and weather. The home itself was beautiful and very clean. We will no longer be vacationing through VRBO. As long time customers we are very disappointed with the customer service we received.

Rose Getaway was Amazing

We loved the Rose Getaway. It was clean and comfortable. Centrally located, it made a fantastic place to relax after exploring Charleston. The rooftop patio was a great little place to unwind with a cold beverage at night. Tom was quick to respond to the very minor issue we had. All in all, the next time we travel to Charleston we will definitely try to see if we can book this home again.

Discovering Charleston Getaway

Lovely property within walking distance to King Street and close to MUSC and College of Charleston. Was able to walk to dinner each evening. Would book again.

Wonderful stay!

What a charming, relaxing, and beautiful house! We stayed here with our two older, teenage children, and we all loved this house. It was very easy to check in, the house was super clean, the furnishings were lovely, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the serene, relaxing vibe this house has. It was a nice to play vintage records on the record player while we made breakfast and sipped coffee together in the mornings. We enjoyed the porches and the proximity to restaurants and shopping. We were also very happy they allowed our dogs to travel with us. This is a wonderful spot to stay, and we plan on returning!

Great house! Great location!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose' Getaway!! Everything was perfect! This was our first time visiting Charleston, and we will definitely be back! We will also be checking availability at Rose' Getaway for our next trip. The location, the cleanliness, the communication, and the list goes on. To note: the beds were very comfy, and the house was very well stocked, including a blow dryer, straightener, kitchen supplies (trash bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc), as well as sound machines in each bedroom! The view was amazing from the third story balcony (especially for the firework show :) 10/10 recommend staying here!

Amazing house!

We had a wonderful week at Rose’ Getaway. The location was perfect for walking to King street and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance also. The house itself was beautiful, very clean and the hosts were very responsive when needed. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting Charleston.

Rose Getaway stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Getaway. The location was great and we could walk just about anywhere we needed to go. The place was very well appointed, comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. And the rooftop deck was great! Would definitely consider staying here in the future.

Top Notch Charleston House

Rose Gettaway was terrific. Walkable to top of King Street. Recently renovated with brand new kitchen and very high end bathrooms. Master is on third floor. Two bedrooms with shared bath on second floor. Tom and Hannah clearly care about their customers and have thought of everything including coffee in the morning for late arrivals and sound machines for those to used to a city. Perfect for family with 2-3 kids.

Awesome house, great location

3 siblings and their spouses stayed for a long weekend. Loved the place- spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the porches and rooftop desk immensely. Location was a quick walk from King st. and geat restaurants.

Charleston Girls Trip

The home was in a great location with a short walk to King Street! The accommodations were very clean with comfortable bedding and all the amenities promised. We especially enjoyed the patios and the record player! The hosts provided excellent communication and wonderful suggestions for a fabulous week of fun!

Cute Little house

Very nicely decorated and excellent booking process and communication. Would stay here again. My only complaints would be: Traffic noise due to location on a very busy street. There is a musty smell in the home and I could still smell it in our clothes once we left and had to wash everything when we got home. But it wasn’t so unpleasant that it would prevent me from renting here again. The home is an older home which has been remodeled (excellent job remodeling) so it’s totally understandable. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great house and great location

The house was very clean and neat. The accommodations were exceptional and comfortable. The location of the house in Charleston was perfect, on a quaint street in Charleston 3 blocks from all of the restaurants and bars and shops on King St.

Girls Annual Getaway

The home was absolutely lovely. It had everything needed. The space was great and the roof top and addational balconies were just wonderful! It was a very nice kitchen to cook in as well! This was the perfect home and location for a Girls Getaway.

While not hosting we like to spend our time making music, going out on the water for a sunset cruise, and taking our yellow lab for beach walks.
