Bright and clean apartment on flower farm in the mountains

This bright 1BR/1BA is located at the base of Mount Greylock and a 6 minute drive from Jiminy Peak ski resort. Built in the 1700’s, this centuries old farmhouse has since been converted into four cute apartments. Newly updated kitchen, floors, bathroom and furniture. Enjoy exploring the sprawling 19 acre property you will be staying on which includes seasonal flower fields, thousands of berry bushes, fruit trees, creek, and walking trails full of wildlife.

Cute little apartment

This location was great for our event at Tanglewood. Perfect little apartment for my husband and i to spend the night. Walked to get coffee in the morning. Would have loved to shop at the farm store, but we weren't there when it was open. Would absolutley stay here again of we're ever in the Berkshires again!

Not as advertised

Apartment was worn with dirty stained carpet in bedroom. We actually ended up not staying and left to drive home that evening.

Cool spot

Rob was super friendly and I'm sure he would be super helpful if you needed info or help with something. The farm is nice and the beautiful stream at the back of the farm has a perfect place to take a dip. It must be great during the summer when the flowers are blooming in their big flower garden.

Tanglewood concert stay

Stayed here one night for a Tanglewood concert. It’s only 30 mins away so good location. Very cute place, very clean and great place if you are traveling with others as there are 4 apts in this one old farmhouse. One downside is traffic noise as it’s right on the main road but if it’s summer you will need AC on so drowns out the noise some

The air conditioning worked well. But was extremely loud Tiny bathroom and no soap in the shower. The sheets were uncomfortable and did not get a good nights sleep.

Traffic noise all night made sleep difficult - property is a very short distance from a major road (route 7 south).

Exactly what we were looking for!

Property is in a converted farmhouse. Rooms were spacious and clean with simple decor. We were in town for a wedding so needed a simple base to work from, but the size and location would lend itself well for exploring the area in an extended stay. Patrick the host was amazing, and very responsive to our questions. Would certainly stay there again.

Great find which exceeded expectations. The hosts are very responsive and are more than willing to guide you in the right direction for whatever it is you like to do. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and perfect for what we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay.

Very nice. Attending a wedding in the area and really needed a place to get dressed and return to sleep. This fit the bill perfectly. Clean and comfortable we enjoyed our visit. Need to come back and visit the many sites in the area.

Great apartment super clean. Outside stairs and proximity to traffic noise should be considered, used AC for white noise. Must be beautiful when flower crops peak!

The apartment was really cute and cozy! The scenery was very beautiful as well. We had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer.

Very pleased with rental: convenient location, very clean, full kitchen. Need a chair so I could take my shoes off when entering and not track sand into apartment.

Second Drop Farm

The apartment was clean and the kitchen seemed well-equipped but we didn’t cook at all. I had expected two beds, but the couch was comfortable enough.

Perfect spot

Comfortable and spacious old farm house at the base of the Greylock reservation. Owner is very helpful, friendly and often available at the farm stand adjacent. We even got to partake of the bountiful blueberry field!

Huge attractive apt. Lovely location. Owners were very nice and helpful. Invited us to pick blueberries. Would be happy to recommend and to stay here again

Highway paradise

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars to this place is because of the noise from the road. The place was very nice and the host very attentive,but the noise from the cars and trucks was very loud.
