Wonderful Week

It was as advertised on the website. The house was inviting and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with dishes, utensils, appliances and spices. Pool, hot tub and sauna were used daily and nice to have when little ones were napping/sleeping. I would recommend it highly for families with small children/grandchildren. The beach chairs and wagon were great to have for our time on the beach.

Beautiful, spacious house

Two blocks to the beach, well stocked kitchen for cooking everything. Clean, responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation at IOP

This is a beautiful house on 23rd St. and my family of 11 enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and ready upon arrival and all bedrooms and living spaces were nice and well decorated. The outdoor spaces were gorgeous with a nice yard and a beautiful pool, plus under the deck we were able to play corn-hole while we were grilling. Unfortunately, we were at IOP during tropical storm, Debby, but the house enabled us to still have fun with grandkids and still take advantage of every break in the weather to be outside in the pool or walking on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and Rita was so nice to check in on us multiple times as the tropical storm moved through. We hope to come back to this house again next year and have better weather.

Great Beach House!

We had an amazing time this past week in IOP! The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids. The backyard is HUGE- lots of space for our friend’s dog to run around and the pool was perfect as well. The house was clean and well maintained and was very comfortable for our group. The screened in sunroom was great for morning coffee. Fortunately, I didn’t need to contact the host much but Rita reached out to make sure everything was ok and to inform us of anything. She also had a great recommendation for golf cart rental that was very helpful! Would definitely stay here again!!

Great family retreat

The house was very nice pool and hot tub were great kids and grandkids had a great time rented a golf cart and it made everything easier

Everything was as described. Short walk to the beach. Nice pool. Plenty of room in the kitchen and for eating together and it was a quiet neighborhood. Would stay there Again. Good price as well

Family beach time

We had a great trip and it was especially nice that grandma could bring her dog. Since we were flying in from Colorado it was nice that there were beach towels and chairs.

Amazing vacation

My extended family and I absolutely loved staying here. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The beach was only a short walk away which was great and convenient. This was our first visit to Isle and Palms and we fell in love and will definitely be back.

Fun in the sun

The house was perfect for our vacation. Pool was great for the kids and we were close enough to the beach. We also love that the property has enough grass for yard games such as badminton and bocce.

Great place for a family getaway

We absolutely loved our stay! The kitchen is huge and well equipped with cooking supplies. The screen porch is a great place to hang out when you are done swimming in the pool. It even has a 2 person sauna. We did opt to get the pool heated and were thrilled it was comfortable to use at the end of March/early April. The beach is a quick walk away and they even had a wagon we used to pull our towels and bags. Rita was very responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend this home for an extended family vacation!

Enjoyed Our Family Time

We enjoyed our visit to Island Retreat on the Isle of Palms. The home was the perfect size for our extended family. The pool was awesome to cool off in the summer heat. The host was great to work with & very responsive with our questions.

Family Getaway

Had a wonderful getaway for a 4 generation family vacation. The elevator for access to the main level was a great tool. The pool had plenty of seating and toys to use. The house was well equipped for large family meals and plenty of room to sit and relax. There was plenty of room for 5 cars and a golf cart with room to spare. The beach was 2 blocks away so it was walkable or you could use street parking next to beach. It was convenient to have grocery and seafood market close by, especially when using golf cart. Would recommend this property for large families. P.S. The host was very quick to answer and respond to any questions.

Perfect Spot in IOP

This house was absolutely wonderful! It is just as beautiful as the pictures. Our family couldn’t get enough of the pool and the great location to the beach. You can easily walk, ride a bike, or take a golf cart to the beach. We rented a golf cart, which is helpful if you have smaller kids and items to bring to the beach. We had two dogs that had plenty of room to run around in the backyard. The house is in a great location near Harris Teeter and the restaurants in town. Even in the hot weather we could easily walk along the beach to all the restaurants. We wish there was a first floor bathroom, but we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower near the pool.

Spectacular vacation!

The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The elevator was incredibly helpful to have for my father-in-law, who has knee problems. Short walk to the beach, grocery store was a short drive from the house, and the house was just gorgeous, inside and out! The backyard was like an oasis! It had a nice-sized pool and there were plenty of backyard activities that we used, like corn hole and badminton. Wonderful vacation overall!

Destination wedding

My fiancé and I had a wedding on the beach and rented this house and another for each side of the family. This house was a perfect location, clean, had everything we needed. The pool was perfect after long days on the beach. There was a minor issue with the kitchen sink and master bedroom door. The property manager and plumber arrived promptly to fix everything. We have never had a renter be so attentive!

Relaxing Vaca

The property manager, Rita, was super responsive and helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook meals, the beds were comfortable and the location was within walking distance to the grocery store and beach. We used Whole Foods/Amazon delivery, which was convenient as well. Toilet paper is only stocked for the first few days, so make sure to order that and laundry detergent. Property could use painting and spraying for wasps and bees, but overall great stay.

Bringing your dogs? They'll love the fenced-in backyard. Make sure to take them to the beach during off-leash hours (April 1 - September 14: 4:00 pm to 10:00 am | September 15 - March 31: 5:00 am - 9:00 am)!
