Ideal house for our extended family. We had 4 grandchildren and walked to the beach (3 short blocks) easily and enjoyed the pool in the backyard. House was clean, kitchen was extensively furnished and we had plenty of space for the 10 of us. The host was very prompt to address any issues and questions. Great time!

This home is outstanding and the host is very responsive to all questions and communications! This part of the beach is less crowded than right around the pier. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time at Ann's house and it was an ideal setup for my elderly parents (the elevator was a lifesaver!), three kids, two couples and our pups. The house is beautiful, we loved using the pool and it's only a short walk to the beach -- the best highlights of the property in our opinion. The kitchen was well-appointed for home cooked meals, but I agree with past reviews encouraging visitors to bring their own toilet paper! (We ran out in 2 days). The shower, pool floats and corn hole were also nice features, too. You can tell the house is comfortably lived-in and has been well loved, so expect some quirks here and there (it adds to its charm!), but overall, it was a lovely stay and we really enjoyed our time here.

This is a wonderful house and location!
We’ve stayed in many rentals and this may be the most ideal for multigenerational families. Loved it!

This was our second year at the property. We love the location, situated on a quiet street but close to the shops, beach, and public park. The responsiveness from the host was also outstanding. We had a problem with the built microwave early in our stay but a counter top model showed up the very next day to use until the built in unit could be replaced. We also appreciate the use of both garage stalls and the beach gear, including chairs and a cart to transport everything. Pool is also a welcome and relaxing option when we couldn’t get to the beach. Great stay once again!

Very lovely home with plenty of space for a large family. Outdoor areas were great! We really enjoyed the pool, deck and beautiful front porch.

Great family retreat
The house was very nice pool and hot tub were great kids and grandkids had a great time rented a golf cart and it made everything easier

Spring break family vacation
Fun filled home with comfortable amenities. Close to shops and beach. Our family loved spending time together and making memories at this lovely home. We hope to visit again.

Our stay in Isle of Palms was enhanced by the outstanding amenities provided at this ‘Island Retreat’. We all enjoyed the pool, hot tub and short walk to the beach. The interior was spacious and convenient for all of our family members. The easy elevator access to each floor was greatly appreciated. We would recommend the ‘Retreat’ to family and friends and utilize again on any return visits.

Beach is lovely & short walking distance. Entertainment close by. Local fare delicious. Home & pool great for a memorable family vacation.

Family beach time
We had a great trip and it was especially nice that grandma could bring her dog. Since we were flying in from Colorado it was nice that there were beach towels and chairs.
