Direct Oceanfront W/Pool - 74th St - Beautiful Views!!

Thank you for your feedback. I was a bit surprised by your comment regarding activities for children, as your reservation was made for two adults. Our condo is not part of a resort, so we do not offer or advertise amenities such as tennis courts, volleyball, or game rooms. However, there is a county park with tennis courts just a 10-minute drive away. As noted, the pool hours are from 10 AM to 6 PM and are strictly enforced. Our building consists of 59 units, many of which are family-owned or rented by vacationers who return year after year.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We have the filter and inside the air condition cleaned on regular basis. I personally clean the filters, inside & out on both air conditions when I stay at our unit. But thank you for bring that to our attention. Management immediately took care of the door lock mechanism to the common area.

The guest indicated, the guest is a rental property manager and had some minor suggestions. Our photos and descriptions are true to the unit’s and building’s characters and beach charm. The building is extremely well maintained and one of the most sought after ocean front buildings in Ocean City, Maryland. The building has one of the closest accesses to the beach and pool, and the building is well maintained. Due to the Covid 19 epidemic In March, we immediately contacted all guests and offered an option (to those that were booked) which allowed them to cancel anytime with 100% refund due to the uncertainty of the environment. The building behind condominium, the Beachmark motel is a reasonable priced motel and many people see value in their stay which has one of the largest pools in Ocean City and which is directly across from many services and the fire department. We are always open to suggestions!

Thank you for your review. We always appreciate feedback, and we address recommendations -where appropriate. The pool was unfortunate, unforseen and out of our control. The good news! We have Brand New Pool! The pool was scheduled to reopen this season with a brand new pool deck. The unforeseen issues with the pool construction delayed the opening multiple times. As soon as we were notified of this inconvenience-(although it was short notice to owners and guest), we offered every reservation an opportunity for a full refund. We notified each reservation about the high risk of noise levels and offered this particular reservation an adjusted price. They accepted an adjusted price and choose to stay in light being fully informed and the price reflected it accordingly. We will have the a/c units serviced to make sure they are draining properly. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you see anything out of sorts that we can get fixed right away. We value this condominium and want it to be well maintained. We appreciate all feedback. Please note the unit is clearly advertised with the photos indicating it is a beach place with beach charm that does not have the most modern renovations, which affords the price for the stay. We are sorry the unit did not meet our cleaning standards and will address it with our team. We spoke to the vacationers who did not read or follow the the vacation instructions for over an hour to assist them with their difficulty in operating the elevator upon arrival. We again assisted them with operating a standard comcast tv remote control and it would have been helpful to know if the unit did not meet cleaning standards. We would have been happy to address it immediately. For the dvd player, we left it in the unit, just in case someone wanted to use one and it can be connected to either tv. We will remove the dvd player, as it is no longer a common device. Vacationers can access their own streaming services through the televisions that are provided. The security lighting was recently upgraded in the building so we will look into additional options. The refrigerator is on wheels and easy to push an inch to avoid the drawer. We will add that to the information for vacation stays for future reference. As always, we hope you enjoy your stay.
