The living room offers over-sized sofa (queen sofa bed) and chair for relaxing in front of the ocean view. Beach Getaway

Came to this condo for a birthday trip. Everything was as advertised. Communication with the management company was exceptional! View was beautiful and everyone was very nice. Will definitely come back!

Had a great stay. Very clean. Smelled fresh. Bathrooms were great. The only real problem was the side window next to the front door did not have a cover of any kind. Anyone cold look in at any time. Hope to return again.

Great location, seemed to be very family friendly as there were quite a few families with young kids around & in the pool area. However, not too many that it was crowded ever. We had a few issues when we arrived however maintenance was very quick to respond and fix the issues. Would stay there again!

Bright and inviting beach front getaway!

The condo was wonderful! It looks just like the listing photos. The view was unbeatable. The garbage disposal was broken the first day we were there, but I called Sugar Sands and they connected me with maintenance. George was super professional and fixed the problem quickly. We will definitely book with this company again. Loved our trip!

Great stay

Enjoyed our stay. Great location. Everything was great. Just a few minor issues. Had to buy batteries for the remote. Shower handle is very loose. The floor although looked clean, when we walked on it barefoot our feet were black. But all in all had a great time and everything else was perfect.

Incredible view and great location

This condo location is fantastic! The view from the living room and master BR is the beach and Gulf of MEXICO! The pool was just a couple units to the right and a couple flights of stairs away and visible from the condo's balcony, which is accessible from the livingroom and MBR. The unit was tidy and clean. There were sufficient dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans for us to use during our stay. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. The sofa and love seat were fine, but we did not use the sleeper sofa as a bed. Our only complaints would be the beds: The frames from both beds make a LOT of noise. The mattresses are also on the firm side without any sort of mattress pad. We are used to a pillow top, so the one in the master BR was uncomfortable for us. We could also not find comfortable pillows, but this is subjective, and other visitors may not have this complaint. The door to the master BR rubs against the doorframe when opening and closing. If someone were sleeping in the living room this sound would scare the peace right out of them! The lock to the master bathroom pocket door also doesn't work. So the combination of the broken lock and ill fitting bedroom door meant anyone seeking some privacy had to be a little more diligent, especially if the curtains ar open on the glassdoor that opens to the previously mentioned balcony. I prefer FWB to Destin as there seemed to be less tourist traffic, but we were close enough to enjoy Destin's attractions.

Great Choice

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We normally stay in Destin or further east; however, I came across this condo on VRBO and really liked how clean it looked. We haven't stayed in Fort Walton in years, but after this stay, we will be back. The crowds are minimal due to the fact there aren't any high-rise condos; parking was assigned and easy; property came with beach rental set-up and all the necessary amenities needed for a great extended weekend stay. We cooked breakfast in the condo each day and used the community grills for dinner so we could avoid (Covid) crowds at restaurants. Pool stayed clean. Walking to beach literally took less than a minute from the pool to our chairs. Condo was decorated nicely, AC worked great, beds were comfortable, and having a code to enter the room made it nice not having to hassle with a key/card at the beach.

The unit is on the third floor out of seven. There is covered garage parking on premise. In my opinion, this is a bonus! On property, luggage carts are far and few in between. Therefore, we were always in search of a cart. There are accessible elevators, somewhat contrary and slow. So, be prepared to hand carry your belongings to your unit. The view of the gulf waterfront is very nice from inside the unit and most essentials are included your stay. Unfortunately, the VRBO listing and photos did not fully disclose the view directly under the unit's patio balcony. For your viewing pleasure, there is fenced in pool equipment ( i.e. heaters, DE filters, pumps, plywood, empty chlorine buckets, shovels, construction cones etc...). I understand the pool equipment is required. However, disclosing this 'eye-sore' in the property's rental description should be have been more transparent in the listing. The property was visited primarily by multi-families during our stay. There is only one small pool on property for ALL to share. Not an adequate size for the number of rental units. There isn't a pool curfew enforced by the "parents" or the property managers. Most nights, the noise level is quite loud until 11pm-ish. Overall, the unit is just very loud. You can hear the chairs "scooting" across the floors in the units above and "kids just being kids" not using their 'quiet voices'.Therefore, we will not be returning to this rental.

Condo was as pictured. Furniture very attractive and “beachy” but for older folks like us not very comfortable. Patio nicely furnished also. Enjoyed out stay very much.

Great location and beautiful view with easy access to beach.

My husband and I took his elderly grandparents to Florida for vacation. We needed a calm, peaceful location with direct beach access and this place was all of that and more. Management was awesome and answered any questions we had during our stay. Full kitchen, spacious rooms, great balcony with beautiful view. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.
